13th “Journalist” Joins Team Obama

To paraphrase Bernie Goldberg, “the slobbering lover affair” between Obama and the media continues. With all the lobbyists Zero has hired, I’m surprised he has any room left for what passes as “journalists.”

Roberta Baskin, a veteran of CBS News, ABC News, PBS and Washington, DC’s ABC affiliate, with a stint at the Center for Public Integrity mixed in, “will join the Department of Health and Human Service’s office of inspector general as a senior communications adviser in mid-August,” Washington Post “Federal Eye” blogger Ed O’Keefe reported late Monday. Specifically, O’Keefe related, her job will be “to help drum up media attention for the Health Care Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Action Team, an HHS-Justice Department task force aimed at combating Medicare and Medicaid fraud.”

My list of journalists who have jumped to the Obama administration — plus one who traveled through the revolving door from helping the Obama campaign into a news media slot — is now up to thirteen. Not counting Baskin: Three each revolved through CNN and the Washington Post; two through ABC News; and one each via the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Newsweek and Time magazine.

Here’s the entire article from newsbusters.com.

Roberta definitely has a face that was made for radio.

Obama is losing control of the message, and his personality is wearing thin. People are tuning out of his oratory bull$hit.

He could hire 13 more and not get any better results.

It’s the message, not who frames it or delivers it.

I think Zero should hire Contessa Brewer from MSNBC. Contessa is a three-time loser:
    – Ugly
    – Stupid
    – No-talent

Dan Rather’s looking for work still, maybe he’ll be next, we know he’ll fit in just fine.

I think Ed, the talking horse.

“Go right to the source, and ask the horse,
he will give you the answer that you endorse,
Unless of course the horse, of course,
    is the famous Mr. Ed.”

Looking at his ratings, Ed the Talking A$$ from MSNBC’s “Ed Show” may be available soon. Oh, I forgot. MSNBC doesn’t care about ratings. That’s why they didn’t cancel Chrissy Matthews long ago.

    Temporarily OT….

Now, when I think of birthdays, usually “balloons,” a personal endearing message comes to mind, an inscription of the person’s “name” is traditional….but, not for Prez #44.

Is this just another sign and/or sympton of Obama’s out-of-control narcissism?

Given Michelle’s taste in fashion, I suspect she designed this delectable treat. She wears clothes that look about the same.

One of Obama’s press team, Linda Douglass, hard at work trying to make her boss look good, despite his conflicting words.

Yesterday White House health care flack Linda Douglass characterized as “disinformation” a video featuring President Obama appearing to tout single payer health care. Douglass objected to the video’s taking sentences and phrases out of context to create the appearance that Obama said something he didn’t really say.

In this day of youtube and camera cell phones, you cannot un-say things.

You can only change your position, which Obama is doing.

LOL Mullet — I never gave it a thought who was behind this visual monstrosity. But, like you said, it does fall within the perimeters of Michelle O’s taste and desire to be flamboyant and seen!

It’s a series of revolving doors for these drones between leftist politics and media, and also between academia.

    Anyone remember this one?

And these are the same people who moan about corporate lobbyists. How are they any different? In fact, they are worse because they are liars.

I liked Mark Levin’s response last night, asking for specific names and examples of people bought and paid to disrupt town hall meetings.

None will be forthcoming, of course, because the administration is lying.

jan, they will still ram it through. They don’t care. These are totalitarian ideologues. All that matters is power.

While it is important to keep the opposition going, we had better start thinking about the post-game.

CNN continues the fraudulent polling trend.

Remember the CBS/NYT poll from last week that managed to show 58% approval for Obama? And the internals I posted showing that they achieved this by polling only 20% Republicans (a number they achieved intentionally in the weighting by REDUCING Republican representation in the poll to 20%)?

Well a new poll from CNN, headlined on their frontpage as 50% approve Obama’s health care plan: they are smart enough not to reveal party ID, which is likely comparable to the above, but no doubt to curry favor with the President they did let slip the race breakdown, which is 20% African-American!

That is a HUGE polling “error”, nearly doubling the AA representation; needless to say they support Obama ~97% and the health care question was phrased as

“From everything you have heard or read so far, do you favor or oppose Barack Obama’s plan to reform health care?”

The MSM claims the number of Republicans in the country is the same as the number of African Americans.

And they wonder why we’re angry.

Spread the word everyone. The public DOES NOT SUPPORT this travesty. The press is openly lying and going all out.

    Remember the simple equation.
    Obamacare-> irreversible Marxism.

None will be forthcoming, of course, because the administration is lying.

Not lying, projecting. They assume that because that is what they do, that is what we all do.

I agree that they are projecting. However, let them project. The more they misread the mood of the country, the more they’ll bumble along and the less chance there is of all this crap passing.
