“He was guilty of nothing, except that he earned his own fortune and never forgot that it was his.“ The concept contained within that phrase is what has set America apart, and made her the greatest nation on Earth. And it is the systematic attack on that concept, that this website is dedicated to fighting. This website is NOT devoted to making people “wealthy”, but rather to fighting the notion that the “wealth” they DO have needs to be “redistributed”.
Hey, Howard consider it self-defense. Your master wants to ration our care, and judge all of our lives’ worth under the shabby rubric of his Leninist politics.
If we DID want to kill him, could you blame us?
But now you attach murderous intent to US, who merely want to survive the reign of your malevolent little tyrant? Because he can’t lie his way into control of our lives and deaths?
Howard. We don’t want to kill anyone. But, you keep right on calling us the killers. Maybe after we’ve been attacked by enough of your union thugs, we’ll change our minds.
People could get killed, with this kind of talk. Expressing our desire to retain our liberty such as it is, and keep the government out of our lives and deaths, is now equivalent to racism and murderous intent.
Democrats, you lowlife scum. There is NO BOTTOM with you vermin.
JR’s story last night was incredible. Lucky to be alive, indeed.
The cop’s take was interesting: “We can’t really do anything about these punks, but you can”. Cops of today would be afraid there was a hidden microphone taping every word.
The liberal wing of the democrat party is a criminal enterprise, and Obama has staffed the administration with slugs from this gang from top to bottom. They are stealing the country of its wealth while stealing liberty from its citizens. They should all be in prison.
If the GOP, and the more sane members of the opposition party (if there are any) don’t regain some strength in numbers and control in 2010, America is lost forever.
As history shows us time and again, only armed conflict will turn the table then.
I guess we’ll see where the blue dogs really stand.
The Democrat leadership acts as if they already have the votes, which they probably do. There will be hell to pay for this if any Republican signs on to whatevery POS of a bill they piece together.
The Dems do appear ready to ram this through, and the PEOPLE be damned. Since most of the worst effects will not take place until 2011, the 2010 election will be them saying over a& over: “See, it aint so bad” and the media will go right along with it.
But rwy’s right: between now and the 2010 election we need to do all we can to wake up America. Because if the current crowd gets re-elected AND has the power of life & death…we are done as a country.
One of my qusetions for Congress Critter Jackie Spiers: Given that a majority of Americans do NOT want Congress to pass ANY of the legislation on HealthCare curently under consideration…are you going to vote for it?”
I’ve got ideas, but what do folks here think the most important questions should be…and asked how?
Obama’s outward psychological makeup is very easy to read and decipher. When things are going the way he wants them to go, Obama is practically everywhere. For the first 6 months, he was holding some sort of Obamacast just about every day. He got everything he’s wanted and has been able to maintain his childish “I won” mentality throught his presidency.
But look what happens when he doesn’t get what he wants. First, he pulled Cap and Trade because he thought he would be able to ram through Obamacare and for the first few weeks he was his normal “I could care less what you think of me” self. Now that there is majority opposition to his policies, OBAMA IS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. He does not handle dejection very well.
Making him realize his failures will set all of our battles with him in the future. He is not a man who has tasted defeat much, but when he does taste it, his whole demeanor changes–and it aint very pretty.
btw, there’s now a formal defend Glenn Beck site!!! http://defendglenn.com/advertisers.php
we need to defend him…’cause if they get him they’re going after everyone else too!
JR, even in blue districts, many can’t stomach what Obama and the dems are trying to pull off.
However, SEIU union thugs aren’t very bright. You just have to ask the question is such a way it befuddles them. Something like: “Ok, those of you who don’t want ObamaCare to fail don’t raise your hands while those of you who do want it to fail, go ahead and raise your hands.”
Trust me, the Conservatives will be able to figure it out. The thugs won’t know what to think so their vote will split.
Full disclosure: I used to be a SEIU thug. I worked for some County office in Diamond Bar, CA and union dues were mandatory. I had the option of not being in the union, but the dues would have been pulled anyway and sent to a charity–of their choosing. So I opted to join the union.
I never got to the part in my membership where they gave me free knee-breaking training. And I never got a purple shirt either. 🙁
The most important question is: “Congressman X, will you pledge right here, right now, TODAY, to have yourself and YOUR family covered by whatever plan comes out of Congress?”
“And if you will not, sir, explain to me why MY family should be covered by it and not yours!”
conservativetony: “I never got to the part in my membership where they gave me free knee-breaking training. And I never got a purple shirt either”
Kinda like being a Mousekateer, and never getting your “Ears”…how sad. And no knee-breaking training either? So when all the other goons would go over to the Senior Center to “help the Seniors vote”, you didn’t get to go, huh? No wonder you left the Union…they wouldn’t let you have any fun! 🙂
I went downtown to JD’s “Town Hall” at Tom’s tavern. It was packed so I was out on the sidewalk. Congressman Trent Franks showed up. It was interesting.
I walked over to the other area where the 0 supporters were supposed to be, but I couldn’t find them. I had things I had to do so I just walked back to my car about .8 miles away.
I guess there were a dozen or so people carrying weapons though according to the news. The one black guy with the AR-15 made some good comments.
He said he was from a state that had legal open carry, but not many people open carry. He said the people aren’t used to seeing it and freak when they see open carry and the cops don’t know how to act and hassle people. He said he was doing it to make it more commonplace. He thought it would be a good way for people to get used to it so they wouldn’t freak out so much. Cool!
I saw a great homemade sign by Toms Tavern. It had 0bama’s face over a picture of a witchdoctor. The sign read, “Take four spider legs and two tablespoons of goat blood and call me in the morning.” 🙂
Aurelius, I totally agree with you regarding the polls. Below is a portion of a comment I made earlier on HHR:
I wish I had some examples, but I don’t. Its like CBS using a Dem +10 sample, and finding the Republicans are still more popular. CNN comes right behind them and uses and Dem +15 sample and finds the Democrats are now more popular. Just as long as they can show the Democrats as winners and Republicans as losers, there is no bounds to how far they will go. So they do whatever they can (calling us racists seems to be the cool thing to do at the moment) to wittle away at the +15 sample they needed to make it a fair fight.
If they have to, the Democrats and their willing accomplices will go to a D+60.
Umm duhhh howard of course I want to kill this guy’s term, and want his administration to fail in 90% of it’s policy efforst so it’s not reelected…just as you did with the last administration.
However, SEIU union thugs aren’t very bright. You just have to ask the question is such a way it befuddles them. Something like: “Ok, those of you who don’t want ObamaCare to fail don’t raise your hands while those of you who do want it to fail, go ahead and raise your hands.” — CT

I heard on the radio today that the gun guys in Phoenix were an organized group led by a militia guy, the same guy that supposedly designed the Ron Paul revolution logo. The radio host, who I usually agree with, is critical that they hijacked a health care protest for their own cause. He’s also undermining conservatives like Kerik and the others are doing. They should be criticizing leftists and leave the left to go after the gun guys. Sheesh
I turned hm of after that so I don’t know how the discussion went. I just turned it back on to see if it is still being discussed. It is being discussed. He is taking heat, but there are some people supporting his criticism.
All other issues aside and not saying I endorse this guy’s movement (whatever it is), I have no problem with o/t protests.
Besides, Code Pink was there protesting the war and I’m sure there were lots more o/t protests. The left isn’t criticizing them.
Hancock could have shown the senior deputy on duty the gun, empty clip and chamber and waved him on thru. AR-15 looks awesome but if you have to use it as a club the goon with the Louey’ Slugger is gonna’ win.

I swear the insanity level triples in this country every day.
[2]
I thought Howard Dean was going to Alaska and Alabama and Arkansas and Arizona and California and Connecticut and Colorado and ….
He never showed up at most of those places.
[3]
Yeeaahhrrggghh!!!

[7]
This is one reason among many why I despise Vermont.
Bestowing Patrick Leahy and Howard Dean upon the nation is sufficient grounds for banishment from the Union.
[8]
But remember, making movies and writing books about the assassination of George Bush was patriotic artistic dissent, to be much admired.
[9]
That’s right. The left spent 8 years openly fantasizing about killing W, and now they start this crap…
Animals is too generous a description for these people. Pestilence is more like it.
[10]
RWY did you see the story my Dad wrote on the other thread?
[11]
yes, I saw that. Sheesh. Lucky to be alive.
But was there anything about y’all’s place in the woods getting burnt?
[12]
Pestilence
Yes, that’s a good word for it…

Haven’t had much time to hang around BJG today, but I did come across the following PJTV video which is pretty interesting.
The Power & Danger of Iconography: The Resistance Steals Obama’s Weapons
A ‘LOL’ sticker will be going on my car tomorrow.
[18]
for democracy may be barely alive, barackracy may die first.
[19]
MPT, I GOTTA get me a “LOL” sticker!!! that rocks!
p.s. we still on for this weekend?? I’ll send ya an email to work up details.
[20]
Drudge headline, Dems gonna ram thru healthcare on their own.
Good.
[21]
Democrats declare unilateral war on the American people and their liberty.
Good. Let’s fight.
[22]
This is what they were elected to do in their minds, and I am glad they are doing it.
This will result in a decade of electoral defeat, or the socialization of the country.
Choose, America, and you will never get to choose again.
[23]

You almost had me there, Yahoo. Drudge is being funny again. Quoting the NYT. heh heh.
What will that jokester think of next?

Let them do it. They know what is best for us. Let them kick you, and ask for another. /0bot

TGOR
You shouldnta oughtta have done that. DD, and some others will be mighty peeved if you mess up their screens by going out of bounds with your posts. 😀
[28]
The blue dogs will dance to pelosi’s tune.
The Dems are going to rule in the teeth of 70% opposition for the next year and a half.
Then the election of 2010 will be a nationwide battle, they will burn the country down to hang on to power.
Fasten your safety harnesses, people.
[29]
If the American people want to keep their liberty, they are going to have to fight for it, plain and simple.
Prosperity is out the window for the present…..
[30]

If I was part of a town hall and I has one question to ask, I wouldn’t address it to the politician.
I would turn to the crowd and ask them, “Okay, by a show of hands how many of you will vote against Senator XXX if he votes for ObamaCare”?
Senators live and die by votes and polls, so I’m sure the result would paint an indelible picture in their mind.
[33]
great idea, ct…but here in the SF Bay Area the hall is likely to packed with Union thugs, and Leftist maniacs (redundant)!!

NBC has a new poll, they barely keep O above 50%.
How? by polling 20% Republicans, 36% Democrats.

Shameless, desperate, dying.

the wimps at Powerline are pissing me off again, attacking this gun-bearer for obeying the law.
I hate that site. Why do I keep going, I don’t know. They are too soft.
[46]
BTW, he was referring to the cops and people in his state, not AZ.
[47]
aureliusx, Bernard Kerik on Newsmax is pushing that BS to. I thought he was in prison.
[48]
WTF is wrong with following the law, and making a statement?
Oh no, it’s a gun, so “dumb”… anyone with a gun must be a murderer.
Pansy asses. Tired of conservatives undercutting other conservatives.
Here’s a hint to anybody thinking about doing something like Powerline: if you don’t understand a conservative position, you DON’T UNDERSTAND IT.
So shut up and sit down and think until you do.
[49]
That polling makes me pissed off too. Aurelius is in a bad mood tonight.
20% Republicans seems to be de rigeur among liberal pollsters– there have been at least 3 in the last two weeks with that number.
20% republicans? Seriously? Come on.
[50]
Well, once a union thug, always a union thug.
How ’bout I show up at a SEIU meeting and with a wobbly salute, I shout out, “SEIU thug Tony, reporting for duty!!”
.

Hancock claims he informed the police of his intentions to stage this event.
