Problems? What problems? Whatchoo talkin’ ’bout, Willis?

Well, here’s a possibility…. And I must say, that looks more like a real 1960’s long form BC than what BeeHussein has coughed up so far…time will tell, I suppose, which one is the hoax. If this is a fake, designed to harm the president under false pretenses, it’s a particularly nasty one.

Time for the magical one to reach for some more “beerce”?

Oh, and here’s another one… Hmm, where’s the herd of unicorns when one needs them?

Never mind. What we need to get busy doing is destroying perfectly good cars, “saving” 3.5 million jobs, socializing the country’s health care and taxing carbon for no real reason other than the feds need the cash. Oh, and that promise we made to the middle class to get their votes? Suckers! See thread below. I guess that’s called nuance..

Hat tips to Hoitair, wnd, and our own mullet over….

Talk amongst “yourselfs”, people….

Regarding destroying perfectly good cars, going back to another part of the Peter Schiff piece from this morning:

The recently passed “cash for clunkers” program (currently on-hold, as it ran out of funding in one week) is a perfect example of how government policy can make the economy worse. By incentivizing Americans to destroy fully paid-for cars so they can go deeper into debt buying brand new ones, the government weakens an already crippled economy. The last thing we want to do is subsidize Americans to go deeper into debt by buying more stuff. Don’t they realize that is precisely the behavior that got us into this mess?

The fed is trying to reflate the recent bubble. What’s that going to do, do you think? Bring the economy back, or crush it for good?

Schiff makes a lot of sense. I view Ron Paul as a nut-job on everything except economics.

Schiff is forgetting that Obama bought GM and Chrysler. Pump up those sales.

People are commenting on Pat Dollard’s site that the BC would be yellowed if it were authentic.

Mine’s from the late 60s, and not yellowed. Ditto my wife’s…..it does look pretty fresh, though…..

RWY, I wouldn’t get your hopes up regarding the BC. However, it’s excellent fodder to annoy my liberal friends. I kinda like dropping this stuff on them just to rattle their cage a bit — that link ought to do very nicely. :-)

How would anyone know? Who could tell whether this is a fake or not? If it’s fake, the faker should be prosecuted, as this could have huge implications.

we better check snopes, before I get dogged….. :D

From what I can tell, snopes has not updated their site to address this latest alleged document…

How could we find out if this is true…

There’s one thing though. Look in the bottom left, it says “Republic of Kenya” and it is dated “17th of February, 1964.” Kenya didn’t become a Republic until December 12, 1964.

I don’t know, Brandon, I’m not any sort of authority on documents…. and as the Rathergate incident showed, despicable people CAN and WILL forge documents…

To me, this is scary territory, because either it’s real and Obama has defrauded the United States Constitution, or it’s fake, and someone has attempted to seriously harm the office of the president.

Theoretically, this could cause a const, crisis in this country, or even get people killed… so if this is a fake, the person who did this is should be prosecuted…

Step forward and identify yourself and provide collaboration, originator….

Renewable is an irrelevant concept when it comes to nuclear. Yes Uranium will run out but not plutonium– earth’s supply is essentially infinite given the amount of energy you get from it, the amount there is, and the number of psople that will fit on the planet.

Looney leftists don’t want to hear that… Nuclear is bad. Why? Just is…

I wasn’t paying attention to the green nut Jeremy Leggett who talks about the tar sands. I was more interested in what Dr Birol of the IEA was discussing about most of the worlds biggest fields already peaking. If true (and I really don’t know), it is not good news if new fields aren’t being opened up at a faster rate than the decline. With Obama in the White House I don’t see him doing what is needed to ensure new means of extraction are indeed pursued.

    Remulak MoxArgon opinion regarding “Birthers”:

Then there’s this simple fact that debunks the “Birther’s” conspiracy. If Obama was born in Kenya, he’d be an immigrant, and then he’d be a hell of a lot more patriotic toward the country that he currently leads.

Ya know, he does kinda have a point.

Catching up on the headlines and I came across the Obama Administration’s latest idea to create a “hybrid” military/civilian prison to hold the detainees from Guantanamo somewhere within the continental US. The details haven’t been released, but does anyone else think it might set a dangerous precedent to mix military with civilian authority over prisoners? Seems there are very good constitutional reasons for keeping military and civilian authority and powers well separated. Not that a “constitutional scholar” such as Obama would care about such things. Or, am I just being paranoid?
