HOW DID THE COUNTRY GET TO THIS STATE? PART III
My first post dealt with how we have gotten ourselves to where we elected a Marxist President. Link

This final post on the subject is How are we going to extricate ourselves from this mess?
1. Get Involved. Write your local paper. Blog regurlarly on sites such as this one. Watch Fox News on a daily basis. Tell your friends to do the same. Discuss the state of the country with everyone you meet if you get the opportunity. Go to town hall meetings near you and let your voice get heard. Listen to Talk Radio, and convince all your friends to do so, especially the independent and democrat friends.
2. Support all conservatives in the Primaries and on election day. Volunteer for service in the local conservative groups. Give money if you can afford it, but your time may be worth more than money. Form groups and charge dues to pay for mailing the message to folks in every state.
3. Run for school board. Find out what your children are being taught. Join a conservative church and encourage your pastor and brethren to speak out against the outrages against the our christian and conservative values.
4. Fight them at every level, including the city council, school boards, mayor and county commisioners. Alert every one you know about what is going on in your name at local councils.
5. Most of all, become committed to our cause and not fear those who are against us. Truth is the best weapon against the left. Shine the light of day on their subterfuge.
6. Arm yourself. Facts are stubborn things; the tend to remain facts even when they are lied about. Read the editorial page of at least three newspapers per day, most are on line. Correct any falsehood you see by writing to the editor. Watch the liberal news occasionally, even though it is distasteful. You can’t fight lies with truth if you do not know what lies are being told.
Fight them, Fight them, Fight them. If we do not, all is lost.

Be judicious with your political contributions. Don’t give to the GOP. Contribute only to conservative candidates and encourage others to do the same.

#10 Eph, are you Jewish from birth? Only curious. I know this is not a religious site, but theology is my favorite topic perhaps because I came from a secular family. I spent more than 55 years trying to decide, East, West, Jew, Christian? I long ago decided the God/no God thing logically and anecdotaly. I think I understand why people are atheists and agnostics…..it’s easy and you never have to think. It is as simple as that….well and it gives you a license to do whatever you decide is ‘right’. And the ‘cover’ is that if there is a God hopefully he is smart enough to know you meant well.

That is where a 3rd party should start. Pick a couple of locales and focus on school boards and commissioner jobs. Build from there. 3rd parties have not worked because they try to go for the big positions right away. That is not going to happen. Build slow from the grass roots. It can be done but will take some time to do it right.

I think there are a million and a half, or two million, conservative Jews, ie, 25%-30% of them here in the US, no?
I wish they could convince their fellows that the constitution is what they ought to be about, and as far as supporting Obama, I hope at least some are having second thoughts.
We need everyone we can get. Every single one. And it’s hard to tell people, without offending them of course, that every vote for a Dem is a vote to sink the nation.
It’s hard enough to get the Rs to do the right thing. Ds, forget it.
Sharp, please arm yourself, if you can at all see fit to do so. You can buy a shotgun or a Ruger P95 9mm pistol for $320. Buy a rifle if you can. Ammo is starting to become available again, here are there. You can buy a pocket safe for $100.
