What do you think the money in the Stimulus Bill is for? Walking around money in various forms will effect a much bigger than expected black turnout. To cover this Chairman Ogabe will make a much ballyhooed plea to the black community (er…the poor and downtrodden) to not let the evil Rs drag us back into the dark ages.

What this article implies without saying is the inherent racism. Whites have in increasing numbers over the decades voted for competent black candidates. But when its black vs white, the trend goes the other way. Forget which one is the more competent. Blacks will vote race first.

DrDog, of course you realize you’re racist for even making such a suggestion.

Hmmm. Maybe. In a time not long ago, the observation itself would not have been considered racist as it is the particular voters making their racist votes that is racist. But we are now on Obama time, so I guess I am guilty as charged. I see purple shirts in the dist….

Another slight ray of sunshine on a sea of gloom:

    Losing Their Religion

Significant organs of the mainstream media are now officially abandoning one-sided man-made global warming fear promotion and alleged claims that the “debate is over.”

The stunning media reversal has accelerated in recent weeks as top UN scientists have raised the specter of continued global cooling.

I kinda would like to see another Ice Age advance just to see the egg on Al Gore’s face. It would kinda suck for the northern latitudes — under a mile thick of ice and such, but I believe California remained quite temperate during the last Ice Age and the lower sea levels would mean that much more beach property for everyone. It would also be all the more reason for Sarah to make more appearances here in the lower 48. 😉

A new ice age would merely confirm the existence of global warming…

There is no way blacks will turn out without an “obammer” on the ticket. Walking around money may help them some, but not much, especially if it’s raining.

Young people are the most apathetic. They can’t see past their cell phone screen.

Remember “Vote or Die” by that rapper stinkbomb. I can’t remember who it was, but that rally fell way short of expectations.

Not good news for the Dems.

In Colorado, the GOP has convinced Ryan Frazier to give Jane Norton a free ride to the senate nomination to challenge Bennet while frazier will now challenge Perlmutter in CO-7. I wonder how the Dems will try to handle a race between an energetic young black man against a middle-aged white man. Their hypocrisy will be revealed, although 90%+ of blacks won’ give a good god damn about it.

MFG, the GOP could nominate a BLT against Lincoln and win. If Hoeven jumps into the North Dakota Senate race, then that becomes a tossup too.

Be careful–Rahm and company have planned for this. The whole purpose of Porkulus was/is to maintain Dem control even after the ram-down. The loss of ACORN hurts, but the utter corruption of the voting process still allows Dems a significant amount of control

The GOP cannot sit back and wait for good things to fall into its lap. And it cannot allow the continued support of establishment RINOs.

Here was an interesting post in the “comments” area of the article put up by MFG:

As a mature (over 60) black voter, I’m sorry that Americans think that all of us have been fooled or bought off. I love this country. I love the fact that when we are wrong, we admit it. I have accepted the genuine apology of those who feel that slavery was wrong and then re-enslaved us with welfare. I am sorry that those in power believe that more welfare is the answer. Poison is poison, I hope our community learns to be self sufficient and free. Obama should be able to unite us. He seems more interested in uniting his power base. There are a lot of young black voters who were excited at the possibilities of a black president, who are now becoming cynical. You can’t blame blacks for wanting hope. This is clearly not the hope we were looking for.
