Obama’s Approval Rating Near New Low (-13)

2009 October 21
by bc3b

According to today’s Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, Barack Obama is approaching his all-time low with a -13. His overall rating is 47% approval/53% disapproval. Here are sone of the “lowlights”:

  • Strongly disapprove: 40%
  • Strongly approve: down to 27%
  • Sixth straight day of negative double digits (longest of his presidency)
  • Obama’s all-time low is -14

It’s also his sixth straight day in double negative digits, the longest stretch in his presidency.

Are the American people waking up? What will MSM try do do when it circles the wagons in an attempt to convince voters that the “cool black dude” isn’t a total screw up?

Today’s Rasmussen poll results.

Time for the Three Stooges to “circle the wagons” and start “makin’ things up.” I can hardly wait for Charles Gibson to air a Public Policy Polling (the one run by the 24 year old and retired ACLU state chairman) stating that Obama has a 97% approval rating (but failing to state the poll was conducted on a single block in Harlem).

If Drudge is responsible for the collapsing dollar because he frequently highlights the dollar, would it fair to say ABCNBCNYTIMESLATIMESPOLITICOCNNNBCMSNBCCBSHUFFPO are responsible for the collapse of the country because they keep highlighting Obama?

    Tony,

In retrospect, conservatives should have thrown their support to Hillary to defeat Obama. She’s still a socialist, but with some rational thinking thrown in, the damage would not have been so extreme.

Republican gains would have still been high at the midterm, and the conservative movement may have gained an equal amount of traction.

Me for Hillary. lol. Imagine that?

note that Rasmussen shows 40% of Americans STRONGLY disapprove. and 53% who disapproved somewhat!

yet CBS could only find 34% who dissapproved at all!!

That’s a NINETEEN point difference on the base disapproval number. How does CBS do it? Smoke & Mirrors…and only polling Obama’s immediate family, of course. (the illegal-alien Aunt he leaves in limbo, and his half-brother he leaves in poverty are REALLY dragging his numbers down!)

    Mullet,

As I have opined before, Hillary would have been an ok (as far as socialists go) president for her first term because of her desire for a second term. Getting a second term would’ve required her taking some calculated steps to the middle or even to the right (ala Bill) during her first term. Granted, during her second term she would have turned into Obama, but that is another story.

The Hot Air link to the video doesn’t work for me. I went to http://www.breitbart.tv/ and clicked on the video.

This quote from FOX is up:

“ACORN representatives claim James and Hannah were kicked out of Philadelphia,” Andrew Breitbart said in a statement prior to a 9:30 a.m. ET news conference. “They also said publicly that, unlike Baltimore, Washington D.C., Brooklyn, San Bernardino (Calif.) and San Diego, James and Hannah never even mentioned prostitution before they were told to leave. James and Hannah will be joining me to set the record straight. After Wednesday, everyone will know what really happened in Philly.”

A commenter at HA picked up this from a comment at Breitbart:

For those who were able to view the video before Youtube shut it down, the audio of the Acorn worker was intentionally dropped out to comply with the state’s laws on recording an individual without consent. (Remember Maryland wanting to prosecute James and Hannah!) Acorn figured because of these laws this video would never be released and so they went out and lied about what really happened. What the video does show is that the Acorn workers testimony to Media Matters was all lies. In fact the Acorn worker did meet with, and attempt to council for 30 minutes James and Hannah, individuals she believed to be a pimp and a prostitute looking to smuggle into the county underage girls. She did not throw them out of the office after a few minutes as she claimed. Go FIGURE 6 for 6!!!

First of all I like the three stooges (Curly, Moe, Larry and Shemp-uughh four) and you should apologize to them for putting the network anchors in the same category.

Second of all, I believe Mickey, Goofy and Daisy Duck would have been a better example to tie the anchors in with..

According to the White House, Senator Kerry will have a larger role in the Afghanistan strategy. Imagine that. John (I earned a purple heart for blowing rice up my butt) Kerry will now take his Paris Peace talks expertise to another war where he can undermine the effort and get more American soldiers killed.

Michele Bachmann just told Laura Ingraham we need to call both of our senators every day, Mon-Fri and tell them to vote against health care and to permanently de-fund ACORN. She re-emphasized the importance of calling every day.

I have read conflicting things about the cloture vote. It’s possibly happening this afternoon around 2:00.

Also, evidently Organizing For America has had Obama minions flooding the Capitol. I have no idea if this is actually true or just psy ops.

Take heart little chickens…. the worm is turning and turning again…

Yesterday I was on the road visting clients. One client has a rather large wall of fame. I always knew he was a big supporter of Democrats and sure enough, there on the wall was a big old picture of the client with THE ZERO. All happy and smiles… ah, the good ole days. But now this man is shaking his head, even has his head in his hands, and claims he is an independent. Says he was never really sold on THE ZERO (even if he did raise money for him) but that he was against Bush. Okay, the vindictive part of me piped up that Bush wasn’t on the ballot in 2008. We went around with that voting is always about the lesser of two evils. Now he says he was suckered with all the Hope and Change jive (is using jive racist?). He realizes it was a big mistake on his part and he is really worried. REALLY WORRIED. He sees himself in serious financial trouble due to the constant mistakes, misfires, and sees an administration that generally doesn’t have a f’n clue as to what they are doing but each step only makes things worse.

He is sorry he supported THE ZERO and is looking to me to give him cause for optimism.

He is still looking for some hope and wishes that things change back quickly enough that he still has some change left in his pocket. He is confused and just does not know what to believe. He isn’t getting any sleep at night (ahh the restless life of the guilty mind).

What can I say. I tell him, have faith. I tell him that even in the bleakest of times that I rely upon the human heart. (Okay I am channeling Anne Frank… people are good.) I tell him the tide will turn and that even the media will turn on THE ZERO — because they may be liberal and all supportive of democrats but no one likes being played the stooge and pasty… and then having it splashed all over and gloated about on national tv. This is one aspect of the human heart assuming that even some of those in the liberal media still are either human or have hearts.

Will his fortune be saved? Probably not. But he will still have what he has now and that is the skill set and the ambition to create something. So take a look at the human heart, those hearts still tied to their CREATOR. Our desire to create anything… inventions, new businesses, wealth is nothing more than all these little creations running around trying to emulate GOD. This is what is in our heart.

[Also, consider that the alternative is true... those seeking to destroy and stop are missing that GOD part of their heart.]

So take heart you little chicken-hearted friends… it will not be pretty and you may not get out of this alive in the earthly sense… but all the same…look at that part of your heart that never dies to GOD.

Ah… the worm turns, and turns, and turns again…

    Judy, thanks posting your story.

I myself find it really hard to find any sympathy for your client. He may have his eyes partially opened now, but I have a history of dealing with different addictions within my family (drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, etc…) and I have to look at your clients situation through those glasses. Based on what you wrote I have almost no doubt he would go back to the religion of liberalism in a heartbeat if and when things eventually turn around for him.

Even with all the crap Obama is putting upon us all, our own individual situations, whether it is financial, family or spiritual, is our own responsibility. You seem to describe a person who defines himself via external measurements rather than an internal measurement of his own character. I’m very suspicious of anyone who needs a “wall of fame” to reinforce their own self-image and project some fabricated image on to others. Being externally driven he now seeks to place blame upon Obama for his situation when clearly all along he was misusing the God-given gift of “free will” all along.

I apologize for being so down on a person I don’t know, but I’ve seen the type you describe all too often in my life. Hopefully I’m wrong and your client truly will come to develop a world-view and self-image that doesn’t fuel the Obamas of the world.

I join you in agreement with that sentence, INC. Obama was a media-made president, not an accomplishment made one. He is as flim-flam as they get, which is why he frequently sits on the fence waiting for his advisors, Rahm and Axelrod, to tell him what to do…which is then duly reported by his fawning press clones.

    —————————————————————–

    Judy,

Your story is anecdotal in relaying the stupidity that was the main ingredient in the selection of Obama as President.

Like mp, I have little regard, and no sympathy for such people, as their lack of judgment and critical thinking take us all down with their ship-of-fools mentality.

Those who are not based in faith go through hardship grumbling and diminished. But any opportunity could we one to turn people around… which is why I generally ask them to rely upon their heart.. for it is there that we will find God … and not through pictures on a wall of glory and fame….

Boy, is that a true statement! Bad stuff happens to all of us! And, when we can see a link to our own choices and actions, learning an experiential lesson from such misadventures, then there is no room for casting the blame elsewhere.

Also, that picture-on-wall thing is pure and simple self-aggrandizement, which, as mp alluded to, is a very addictive, self-centered quality —> not attractive!
