Pew Poll Shows Support for Health Care Falling; Media Lies on Quinnipiac
Here is a snapshot of a poll just released by Pew Research and it shows that public support for health care is falling. In the Pew poll 31.5% of the sampling are Democrats, 24.3% Republicans and 36.2% independents.
According to Pew
- 34% generally favor
- 47% generally oppose
- 19% don’t know
Here’s the Pew Research poll. It covers a lot more than health care and makes for interesting reading.
Let’s see how much coverage the Pew poll gets compared to the Quinnipiac University poll results. Speaking of Quinnipiac, it may not be as rosey as MSM is reporting, according to gatewaypundit.com. In fact, it appears to be a outright lie. There’s an old saying: figures don’t lie, but liars figure. Anyone know of anyplace with more liars than the media?
Here’s the Quinnipiac University poll. Compare the health care results with this morning’s AP and Bloomberg news stories. I have little confidence in a poll that doesn’t publish its sampling because oversampling of a particular group (usually Democrats) skews poll results..

Typical polling bs. They’ll put out these manufactured polls for as long as possible hoping they will persuade people to agree to whatever agenda or candidate they are trying to push, then just before an election or a vote on a particular legislation is taken they’ll use data that is almost respectable so they can point to it as “proof” that their polling methodology is sound. F’em.
I rarely believe any of them any more, with a slight exception going to Ras, but even he is giving the Ds a numbers advantage that isn’t deserved.
National polling is worthless, but my guess would be 35r 35i 30d. Normally, I would put it at 30r 30i 40d.

I always try to investigate the polls for little inconsistencies. I’m always finding strange stuff.
