Welcome once again to Pithy Poetry Night here at BJG! Tonight’s theme is “_____”, which means it is up to your imaginations as to what you write about. I haven’t come up with a good award for this week yet, so until I do, the award lies deep in your heart where your happy feelings are located. Though last Poetry night’s winner did have an actual prize coming to them, and no winner was officially called….so I suppose we can roll the prize into this week!
As always…feel free to re-cycle stuff you’ve written here or elsewhere as well as fresh snarkiness based on all the splendiferousness of life under Barry’s gentle boot. Enjoy! (oh…and please don’t use words that rhyme with “Duck!”…or at least not ONE word that does).

So Obama was ’strike two’-ed,
It seems the voters had enough
of Liberally being screwed.
Results from NY 23 arrived,
Declaring” “Winner is Hoffman”,
Conservative Indy pulled it out,
‘nother nail in liberalism’s coffin.
The election was a watershed,
Changed America’s direction.
Reid and Pelosi both had strokes,
And the MSM lost its erection. [for The One]
The blue dogs got religion,
Saw the writing on the wall,
ObamaCare was DOA,
Zero’s Marxist plans did stall.
Voters had had quite enough,
And in the 2010 election,
Congressional Dems were swept aside,
The whole liberal collection.
A Republican Congress set the tone,
to get us back on track,
When 2012 rolled around,
Voters gave Obumbler the sack.
