It now looks like Hoffman may have been punked on election night in NY-23.
Corrections are coming in and EVERY correction is in his favor. WHY? Because in multiple cases across the District his totals were sent in as “ZERO”. The odds of multiple Precincts reporting his totals as ZERO? Pretty slim. And there have several HUGE shifts as they re-certify the numbers.
So many corrections that he may in fact WIN the election. (slim chance, but possible)
Hoffman conceded on election night because KEY Precincts showed him with dismal results…and we now know why.
Was Hoffman “punked” into condeding? And if he DID receive more votes, will Queen Nancy unseat Owens? Great questions…stay tuned.

Via Instapundit comes word that the federal government’s Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to purge the federal government of Republican civil servants all in the name of purify the federal bureaucracy.

It is a typical Washington process that many political appointees are able to take jobs within the civil service once their political appointment expires — usually at the conclusion of one administration. What often happens as well is Congressional staffers, before an election or shortly thereafter, will move over to the Executive Branch placed into the civil service, in effect, by appointment.

First, I have never know that “lack of health insurance” actually was a virus or something that made you physically ill lol. It would seem that you would still have to die the ole fashioned way from cancer, etc
Second, the number is totally made up and is based on slanted left-wing think tank old/bad data. I could pull a number out of my keester, oh lets 123456 etc, that would be just a accurate (that is to say not at all).
Third, assuming this bogus number of 45000 is true (and its not), its actually PROVES just how great our private medical care and health insurance system is! For a country of 300 million plus citizens, 45000 is far far far less then 1% which is to say nearly absolute zero!
Finally, it has been proven that MILLIONS die in socialist medicine countries annually from rationing and substandard care.
The choice here is not hard!

See the common theme here – the rich and politically connencted ie the new elite (think Soros, wall street, big industries/companies like GM and Wal-mar, big unions like Seiu, tort lawyers, big pharma, big health insurance, government technocrats, and washington Pols) make out like bandits!
Who gets the shaft with CrappyCare – the Taxpayer who foots the bill, the non-politcally connected who will get a full socialist sytem in 5 to 10 years, the young who will be fleeced for insurance they dont need, the SR who will get rationed care, polically weak and unpopular groups like Veterans and small business who will get the bill too and rationed care, state governments who will pick up a huge tab but will lose all control of their HC systems……all health care will now be a matter of collective politics where only the well-funded and politically connected get taken care of!
Essentially, CrappyCare turns the American Revolution on it head!
The people will no longer be soverign but subjects of an elititest group of politicians/technocrats/weathly who dictate centralized governance from DC!
