Two things: (1)he equates R’s with D’s…..which is dangerous and absurd. I have a lot of problems with R’s but they are not Marxists and Fascists like the majority of D’s so it is disingenuous and harmful to imply they are equals.

(2) he always cites Murrow as a great journalist for calling out Joe McCarthy. That ought to piss you off too, Tony. The successful demonization of Joe Mc opened the door for the Commies to take over academia, entertainment and media.

I give him a more good than bad rating, like BOR. But I don’t trust him, I think he might be pushing 3rd party in a year when is absolutely necessary we win back the House.

While getting rid of two commie advisors is nice, they are simply replaced with more (and there are thousands more out there) of the same and are just an email away anyways….

The only permenant fix to this is to WIN elections with candidates who can beat the oppostion…..

This requires adult maturity on our part in that we should not expect perfection from our politicians and that someone with us more often then not is much better then a 80-100% down the line statist….

All you have to do is see Graham, McCain, Snowe, et. al in action to know they are just not the express lane. If there is a difference between the two its this — One is reformable (Reps) the other is not and deserves to be jailed (Dims).

He delves into current events with a point of view palatable to conservatives. He is not a movement. Beckism will never be Reaganism, and Beck will never be taken seriously as a policy maker.

The biggest disservice to Palin right now is Fox asking if the 2012 ticket will be Palin/Beck. That marginalizes her and reduces her to nothing but celebrity level. Of all the hype about Beck, that irritates me the most.

And to the degree that the R party “sucks” still much better then the hard core statists….

Also, the degree to which they suck is in a large measure a reflection of our own apathy and inactivity – we reap what we sow…..

The Beck pitch is dangerous in that you need to win elections to matter – this “both are the same” and “we need something new” crap simply dives conservatives/R and allows the D to win….
