“He was guilty of nothing, except that he earned his own fortune and never forgot that it was his.“ The concept contained within that phrase is what has set America apart, and made her the greatest nation on Earth. And it is the systematic attack on that concept, that this website is dedicated to fighting. This website is NOT devoted to making people “wealthy”, but rather to fighting the notion that the “wealth” they DO have needs to be “redistributed”.
Sarah Palin’s very first book signing will be in Grand Rapids the evening of Nov. 18. Yes, I am pissed that she didn’t come to the east side of the state. Be sure to drool for me.
had to take my 92 yr. old mom to ER Sunday night. She fell leaving the hockey game, she goes for the fights!!!. (She is doing well)
At any rate we have excellent ER services but had to wait in the waiting room for the first time ever before an ER room opened up. They have 30 ER rooms and all were in use. Even then we were only their two hours with x-rays. Talking with the doctor he said it had been like that for the last 3 weeks. And I’m telling you PEOPLE REALLY LOOKED SICK. most were there becasue of swine flu.
At any rate I missed work yesterday. I told my boss about the ER experience and he blamed it on the lousy health care in America and how we need it passed. Of course he had to add that it was Bush’s fault and it wasn’t like that before he was elected.
So, I bit my lip because I only have a few years left and I don’t need the hassles of being harrassed. I fell like a real jerk for not challenging him. Most people I would but I just let him go off—
The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!”
Semper Fidelis distinguishes the Marine Corps bond from any other. It goes beyond teamwork – it is a brotherhood and lasts for life.
Latin for “always faithful,” Semper Fidelis became the Marine Corps motto in 1883. It guides Marines to remain faithful to the mission at hand, to each other, to the Corps and to country, no matter what.

Here’s your problem — does Jihad have an 800 number? The fuzzy looking kid delivering your pizza could be a working for an AQ member. So when you called the pizza shop were you talking to a terrorist cell? And by your actions you are now a sympathizer.
Yes it does depend on who you call and what you do afterwords.
Regardless of that Hasan was a Muslim terrorist in my book. It he did have to be part of AQ or Muslim Brotherhood, or even the Mosque. He alone, by his actions, qualifies to be labeled as such.
at the Marine Corps Ball Sunday night I had the pleasure of shaking the hands of several active duty Marines. I walked up to each and said simply: “Thank you!” Each of them shook my hand, and nodded at me in understanding of why I was thanking them.
THEY are the best there is…maybe the best ever. And we will need each of them more than ever before. They get it.
“This is the first time we’ve seen them try to get the IP address of everyone who visited a particular site,” Bankston said. “That it was a news organization was an additional troubling fact that implicates First Amendment rights.”
“(The Independent Media Center is a left-of-center amalgamation of journalists and advocates that – according to their principles of unity and mission statement – work toward “promoting social and economic justice” and “social change.”) ”
Heh. They got their ‘Change’ alright! They made their social contract with this socialist administration, let them fulfill it.
Thank you for your service, Dad and IP (any any lurking or posting Marines/Military men and women). May God bless you and keep you, make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you.
A special Happy Birthday wish to Mr.Justmary and drdog as well!
Dan Rather and Peter Jennings, along with a U.S. Marine assigned to protect them, were hiking through the Iraqi desert one day when they were captured by terrorists. They were tied up, led to a village, and brought before the Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al Qaeda leader in Iraq.
Zarqawi said, “I am familiar with your western custom of granting the condemned a last wish; so, before we kill and dismember you, do you have any last requests?”
Dan Rather said, “Well, I’m a Texan; so I’d like one last bowlful of hot spicy chili.” Zarqawi nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chili. Rather ate it all and said, “Now I can die content.”
Peter Jennings said, “I am Canadian, so I’d like to hear the song ‘O Canada’ one last time.” Zarqawi nodded to a terrorist who had studied the Western world and knew the music. He returned with some rag-tag musicians and played the anthem. Jennings sighed and declared he could now die peacefully.
Zarqawi turned and said, “And now, Mr. U.S. Marine, what is your final wish?”
“Kick me in the ass,” said the Marine.
“What?” asked Zarqawi. “Will you mock us in your last hour?”
“No, I’m not kidding. I want you to kick me in the ass,” insisted the Marine. So the leader shoved him into the open, and kicked him in the ass.
The Marine went sprawling, but rolled to his knees, pulled out a 9mm pistol hidden in his cammies, and shot Zarqawi dead.
In the resulting confusion, he leapt to his knapsack, pulled out his M4 carbine, and sprayed the remaining terrorists with gunfire. In a flash, they were either dead or fleeing for their lives.
As the Marine was untying Rather and Jennings, they asked him, “Why didn’t you just shoot them? Why did you ask them to kick you in the ass?”
“What,” replied the Marine, “and have you assholes call me the aggressor?”
In March, 1918, after three years of stalemate, the Germans broke the British lines of defense. But the Brits re-grouped, and the Germans then decided to strike against the French. The Germans met the French, and some untested United States Marines at Belleau Wood.
Captain Lloyd Williams of the 5th Marine Regiment encountered some retreating French soldiers, who advised Williams to follow suit. But the marine captain replied, “Retreat, hell! We just got here!” The Allies won the battle, and the last German offensive of the war was checked.
40+ years later, when informed that he and his Marines were completely surrounded by the Chinese and North Korean armies, Chesty Puller announced:
“We’re surrounded. That simplifies the problem!”
Puller led the Marines out, the greatest fighting retreat in history!

Exactly. Best to start with a lefty site who is unlikely to protest the Administration as a conservative site to lay down precedent and test the court challenges before laying it big time into those you really don’t like.
Sorry – i didn’t mean to highjack the thread. The main point I was trying to make is that it appears they asked for the ip address of everyone that visited. So maybe they wanted info on a poster that disagreed.

#5—Why does someone call Al Qaeda?
Are they asking for time and temperature? Calling for a pizza? Would you call them on a survey on oBama’s approval?
My point-Anyone calling them is not your ordinary patriotic citizen.
Now, bc3b might call them to tell them to go to h…!

IP, some of the quotes from Puller are probably not appropriate for our “family blog”.
But damn, that man could fight!
His fighting retreat from the Chosin Reservoir continues to amaze me.
As the Marines retreated they retrieved a lot of abandoned U.S. Army gear…which Puller returned to them, igniting a huge inter-service rivalry!
