Hayworth Raising Money, Toying with Running
Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-Ariz.) emailed supporters today to say he’s considering a primary against John McCain and to ask for funds to pay off his 2006 campaign debt.
“You have contacted me with words of encouragement following the release of a Rasmussen Reports Poll which finds me in a statistical dead heat with John McCain for the Republican nomination for the United States Senate in 2010,” Hayworth wrote, referring to this poll.
“Miss Mary, our children, and I will do a lot of praying and a lot of talking in the days ahead, as we determine the best course of action to take for our nation and for our family,” he continued.
Hayworth went on to invite supporters to a fundraiser with Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the controversial policeman who mounted a tough campaign against illegal immigrants in Arizona. The funds raised there would help Hayworth pay down his 2006 campaign debt.
Hat Tip: The Hill

RINO Love. I think I’m gonna puke. Time to tell “the Maverick” to kiss off.

Go J.D.
I have heard people say this guy is an odd duck, and you can’t fully trust him. I don’t recall any time when I was outraged at him for an act of betrayal.
And the loathesome McCain deserves to be retired. He will be 74 years old, why doesn’t he quit?
[2]
He will be 74 years old, why doesn’t he quit? And enjoy Cindy’s fortune?
[3]
He must be OK if RWY can’t recall a time of outrage!!
[4]
Why, my dear INC… whatever can you mean?
[5]
Yahoo -
Why aren’t at the Palin book signing? Let me guess. It’s too hot … or it’s too cold … or its raining. The cops had to borrow your Crown Vic ’cause theirs broke down?
[6]
Ouch. Seriously, Bc, don’t stick it in and break it off or anything.
I had to work today, and I’m not spending the night outside (in the horrible 80 deg. temps) just to see her. I know what she looks like.
[7]
Although I love Sarah, Bc, I am not quite as instantaneously auto-erotically motivated as you seem to be.
But hey, to each his own.
[8]
Yeah, so much for this thread.
[9]
Dad and I saw her in person last October.
Got to hug John Voight as well.
[10]
Jon Voight.
[11]
lol.
[12]
He was such a nice man, very gracious.
[13]
Mary, I just put up a new post (at long last!)
[14]
Hey I can live with an odd duck that votes the right way 75% of the time. Ron Paul is one of those guys that sometime I would rather apply a shoe to the side of the head. Then 2 min later he redeems himself. Usually when I am ready to apply the shoe its his stance on immigration.
[15]
Is JD on the right side of Immigration?
[16]
Very definately.
[17]
I know he disappointed me on something, cant remember what it was. Hopefully nothing real important.
[18]
OT,
The ClimateGate Follies begin!!! Lede –
“Competitive Enterprise Institute filed three Notices of Intent to File Suit against NASA and its Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), for those bodies’ refusal — for nearly three years — to provide documents requested under the Freedom of Information Act.”
[19]
And another — Geithner has to go!
[20]
yup rwy…and we got a pic of Justmary with Jon Voight!! so there!
[21]
was not knockin’ your Jon Voight dealio. Just couldn’t take a day off for Sarah.
[22]
Well, if Hayworth is interested … and there’s a good candidate to challenge Bennett … could be an interesting spring.
[23]
I would swim through a mile of shit to see Sarah!!!
[24]
Especially, in her workout clothes, as depicted on Mag cover.
[25]
“Is JD on the right side of Immigration?”
NO, illegal immigration
[26]
Being from AZ, I wonder what Kyl will do IF J.D. does run?
Monopoly money anyone???
[27]
RP
Those Runners World photos are something, aren’t they…???

One armed no less. You airdales were always a strange bunch.
[29]
Eph, Kyl will endorse McCain and campaign for him, and try to destroy Hayworth any way he can.
[30]
I have less and less belief that elections matter one damn bit. 2010 will see my LAST tiny bit of faith put to the test.
After that?
I would prefer (and my daughter demands) that I not say.
[31]
IP, MFG. With one arm and one leg!!!
[32]
So when does JR set up the code room to build the underground resistance to take the country back?
[33]
Needless to say, but I will be sorely dissappointed if she does not run in 2012
[34]
Palin needs to run in 2012
You have to just seize the moment sometimes
[35]
drdog…immediately after the 2010 elections if we do not take back at least ONE (whore)House of Congress.
If the Dems still control both after the 2010 elections then I will indeed start “The Resistance”…or join it. It won’t be pretty.
[36]
JR: I’m in!!!
[37]
Me too.
[38]
I consider JD 80% solid… I’d take him over McCain any day, I think he should run from what I recall of him but I don’t know too much of what he’s said on his radio show that could be a killer come the general against him. If he’s lucky and early polling is good maybe even McCain will take a hint and retire…. lol what am I thinking.
