The deficit is going to be 30%+ HIGHER than it is currently projected. Every tic up in unemployment…and every increase in unemployment benefits adds BILLIONS to the deficit: less revenue, more expenditure.
Unsustainable. We can need to help. Help decrease revenues…help increase expenditures.
Withholding makes it tough to have a “taxpayer revolt”. It’s time for a full court press on “entitlements”. Start looking for ANYTHING you can get from the government…or even just apply for! No harm in applying…for EVERYTHING!
We need a seperate thread for that starting tomorrow.

JM — tell me about it, but at least this year I got a nice election victory in NJ and VA. Hopefully next year Ill wake up to a GOP landslide.
What I can not understand is this. Whenever I debate anyone from the left and I bring up our loss of Liberty they start spouting off about Bush and war.
I always respond that it never infringed on their Liberty because we have no forced conscription. This bill, and this adminstration, wants to FORCE you to purchase a private product. To wit, if you fail to purchase said private product they can impose the most Liberty restricting measure known in the country, inprisonment. That is the definition of the deprivation of Liberty, and yet they still dont get it.
We must never give though. The battle may have been lost, the war not. We trudge on, looking behind never, only forward to the battle that lie ahead. We must not rest, we must not waver, we must prevail. Do what you can, wherever you can whenever you can to help stop this.

We need to demonstrate to them that they are truly conservative in most of their values and show them the folly of fiscal irresponsibility.
