BE IT RESOLVED, that the Republican National Committee identifies ten (10) key public policy positions for the 2010 election cycle, which the Republican National Committee expects its public officials and candidates to support:
(1) We support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes by opposing bills like Obama’s “stimulus” bill;
(2) We support market-based health care reform and oppose Obama-style government run health care;
(3) We support market-based energy reforms by opposing cap and trade legislation;
(4) We support workers’ right to secret ballot by opposing card check;
(5) We support legal immigration and assimilation into American society by opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants;
(6) We support victory in Iraq and Afghanistan by supporting military-recommended troop surges;
(7) We support containment of Iran and North Korea, particularly effective action to eliminate their nuclear weapons threat;
(8) We support retention of the Defense of Marriage Act;
(9) We support protecting the lives of vulnerable persons by opposing health care rationing and denial of health care and government funding of abortion; and
(10) We support the right to keep and bear arms by opposing government restrictions on gun ownership.
RESOLVED, that a candidate who disagrees with three or more of the above stated public policy positions of the Republican National Committee, as identified by the voting record, public statements and/or signed questionnaire of the candidate, shall not be eligible for financial support and endorsement by the Republican National Committee.

Here’s the way it ought to read –
We the undersigned, pledge and troth, with penalty of expulsion –
(1) That the federal government workforce shall be reduced by 2% a year till its expenditure level is 15% of GDP.
(2) Health Care is the responsibility of the individual. To that end Health Care shall be a nontaxed service and exempt from AGI. HSA’s shall be unlimited. Other tax benefits afforded the corporate entities shall be extended to the individual in the tax code.
(3) We shall eliminate the EPA and remand such efforts to the States. In leiu of fines/taxes, tax incentives shall be offered that increase efficiency and eliminate emissions.
(4) A bill shall be offered that make ‘Right to Work’ the national standard. A workers right to a union representation is protected. But a workers right to secret ballot is sacrosanct and will be offered as part of the legislation.
(5) We shall enforce the border with armed forces. The immigration service shall be contracted out. Illegals shall be given a 5yr one time pass; at the end of that time they shall leave — period.
(6) We win, they lose. There is no substitute for Victory.
(7) ((Pass. You can’t provide any verbage that can be supported by anything actionable short of invasion.))
(8) We support retention of the Defense of Marriage Act;
(9) We will issue and route to the States for ratification two amendments –
a) Congress shall pass no law that itself is not party to. The provisions of which become retroactive upon ratification. Neither the Congress, the Judicary or the Executive shall have the power is enable a mandate to any individual or group.
b) The power to tax is the power to destroy. Hence it shall not be lawful for the Federal Governemnt to tax any given taxable entity for more than 25% of Gross Revenues. Nor shall national sales taxes be lawful.
(10) Congress reaffirms the 2nd Amendment that the right to own and bear arms, their supplies and accouterments shall not be abridged. We further reaffirm the 5th Amendment and reverse the Kelo decision for all but public takings for a public open purpose.

All decesions will be “collective” and not an individual/family matter between you and your doctor (or if you have insurance with them too)!
Unlike now when you can get a new doctor or fire your insurance company or sue the insurance company or pay yourself you will be trapped!

I watched this process this summer in the town halls – the old, the veterans – trapped in the government system – no alternatives, just a number in the spreadsheet. All getting screwed by faceless technocrats who had employment for life and could care less! All of whom PAID THEIR WHOLE LIFE IN TAXES or TOOK LEAD INTO THEIR ARSE DEFENDING THIS COUNTRY!
After seeing this go on, I counldnt take it anymore….
I got up and told the Congressman:
“look these people arent asking for a handout – they paid their taxes for a LIFETIME or FOUGHT FOR US! They did their DUTY! Now they only ask that the promises made to them and our government is screwing them! You cant take care of them and their are people in DC who want to add the OTHER 300 millon of us into this system – this is INSANITY!

One major problem with Health Care and the rationing of it. There are going to be a lot of John Q Public’s. What do they have to lose?
It will be a target rich environment. Who do I kill – the congress critter who helped to pass it. The senator who helped to pass it. The administrator who denied me or my love one the health care they needed.
When a person has nothing to lose is when they are the most dangerous.
