Obama ties me (and millions of others) with Abdulmutallab
Today Obama threw me and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab into the same category.
I listened to the President’s second attempt to address the Christmas Day terrorist attack. It was a terrorist attack, it just was not as successful as the terrorists had hoped. Yesterday Obama left me my expectantly disappointed. Today he has hit a nerve that is turning into a slow boil. Yesterday Abdulmutallab was an alleged suspect. Today, he is an “extremist.”
So that nagging little voice in the back of my brain perked up. Obama will not call this guy a terrorist. But that isn’t all that is bothering me. Then I remembered…
This is not the first time Obama, this White House or his liberal supporters used the word extremist.
Obama calls teaparty attendees extremists
Obama says those who oppose healthcare encourage extremists
Gibbs calls Town Hall attendees Extremists
Does this mean that I will now be on the terrorist watch list?– I attended at least one tea party and I oppose Obamahellcare.
Or, to follow the professor Zero’s logic… those of us who oppose his healthcare legislation are responsible for encouraging this “extremist” in his failed attempt at Christmas Day murder.
[1]
Does this mean that I will now be on the terrorist watch list?
Judy, I think you nailed it.
[2]
Well look at it this way. If they deem all us Teas extremists at least puts the right fear into the minds of the government. Now its just a matter of numbers. They don’t have the facilities to arrest 1% of the population let alone all of us.
They should be very afraid.
[3]
Sunday airport security measures worked as planned, according to Janet Napolitano. Monday they were a major failure. It looks like everyone in the Obama Administration can’t make up their minds.
[4]
All who oppose The One (peace be upon him) are extremists. To the camps with them!
[5]
I am looking forward to see how Obama’s handling of this affects his Ras approval ratings over the next few days.
[6]
See HA.
Is Gorelock back working for the government??
[7]
I’m sure the government thinks that with the army’s help, they could inter 10-12 million Americans, and that they would suppose that would be enough to quiet the rest.
[8]
Where is Pope Urban II, who started the first Crusade, when we need him?
[9]
with the army’s help
That should be interesting since they included military in the extremist group.
[10]
I find it amusing that in April Janet Napolitano was railing about the terrorist threat conservatives posed.
[11]
I am also concerned that while Zero continues to call this terrorist an “isolate extremist” what does that make all of us tea party attendees — we are not isolated — we are connected by the internet, e-mail, blogs, and the airwaves.
Should Bachman and Palin be concerned about being arrested when they speak to at the Tea Party convention — extremist leaders that they are….
Zero’s White House has a lot of difficulty with language.
[12]
Don’t think the military is going to look to kindly on locking up their kin.
Never can tell how many of the military may disappear and midnight requisition some equipment.
[13]
Judy – conspiracy?
[14]
RWY,
That would be an interesting scenario. The question is would inter-unit fighting break out? Specifically a Governor calling out the State Guard to engage the US Army to release civilians in their State.
[15]
That is called projecting. 😉
[16]
I truly hope the USmil will not comply with orders to mass-incarcerate either, but the communists would assume they would do as ordered.
[17]
So anybody want to take bets of how many ‘lone extremist incidents’ it takes before the Anointed One changes tune and calls it a ‘coordinated man made disaster’? 10, 20, 35??
[18]
RWY – at the Tea Parties, have you noticed the number of EX military in attendance.
[19]
100 or more, drdog
[20]
All we have to go on as yet is New Orleans/Katrina, and the cops and national guard did their worst in those examples.
I feel things have changed since then, but I could be wrong.
Regardless, I will not allow myself or my family to be incarcerated, plain and simple. Shoot me or let me go, because you’ll never see me in a camp.
[21]
Yes, GN, God bless the vets. Hopefully the actives will be like minded, but who can tell? How would we know unless we polled them on this specific question. Even then, would we know?
[22]
Wow JM. If you assume half of the attempts are successful thats 10k+ Americans killed? I figured lower. But I guess O is that stupid.
[23]
RWY – my brother noticed at the tea parties that a lot of the ex-military were like him – pissed. From his friends (retired military), just waiting to see what happens.
As my brother told me, when he swore his oath to protect and defend the constitution, there was no time limit on his oath. I have heard this from other ex-military as well.
[24]
GN, as always I believe you are right, I am just a little too paranoid on this issue…. 😀
[25]
He did say “fundamentally transform America” did he not? Certainly man made disasters coming at us full force would do just that. He also said he would side with the muslims should the tide turn in an ugly direction….and lots of dead Americans would be an ugly direction, would it not? I think the only time it is safe to take O at his word (since all of his promises come with expiration dates) is when he says something completely anti-American.
[26]
#23 I believe that to be true, but in this climate it isn’t like they can “organize” you know? I think that we won’t truly know anything until the time is 100% here.
[27]
RWY – for the FAR RIGHT, this would be a wet dream come true. I can imagine them just savoring the thoughts of “O” and the democrats over reaching.
[28]
GN is a cagey fellow. You can trust him to know what most of the vets are thinking…..
[29]
I thought if we elected Obama that all the muslims were supposed to trade their ied’s for rainbow bonnets or something. Oh well, that’s only the 4 gazillionth campaign promise that turned out to be false.
[30]
If we have enough “man-made disasters” I’m fairly certain you would see Obama do a massive flip and profiling could become the rule of the day. The guy is intellectually lazy, knows nothing of moderation and has no moral compass — he’ll flip to whatever direction the wind is blowing (at least with his rhetoric) and implement a half-fast solution if it gives him the appearance of doing something at that moment. Of course, we should be very careful of what we wish for as profiling would not just include Jihadis, but pretty much anyone who is deemed a threat to the Democrats.
[31]
Well, he’s clearly committed to the Muslim side, should the “political winds” get ugly again.
I am quite sure this man is no Christian. That much seems very clear.
[32]
I was working around the house today and had talk radio on as background noise.
Quite a few dims called in and they are still supporting and condoning Obama’s policies and actions. It was amazing to hear all the excuses, the Bush-blaming and what not that these libs marinate themselves in.
With this type of subjective thinking it is going to be a long three years to go!
[33]
Yes, you are all terrorists to the Marxists. I have been saying this since day one. That is exactly how they view us. That way we can be dehumanized and dealt with without any lasting feelings of guilt on their part.
See – China, cultural revolution.
That is where we are right now.
[34]
RWY,
They are coming after you first.
[35]
Do you guys really think this site is NOT being monitored?
[36]
Good luck taking me alive…
[37]
Of course it is, from time to time, at least.
I can’t do much about it, really.
We know you’re watching. you commies! Up yours!
[38]
geez…if this site ISN’T being monitored then we’re not doing our job!!!
The folks on this site are ALL real by God Americans…and that means being people who will die for their freedom. Of course, that also means we’ll take a whole lot of sumbitches with us before we go!!!
[39]
MDefl – there is more of us than them. And they can not get us all.
Jan – on Rush’s program Mark Steyn had a woman on from Human Events. She said that RIGHT NOW it is iffy for the Democrats to stay in power. But if the Democrats push through Health Care, the pollsters are saying on the Hill that they think the American people will be really pissed and they can see BOTH the House and Senate flipping.
As she said, right now it could go either way. But the Democrats really do believe that they need to push it through. Total disconnect.
[40]
btw…we’ve been without power nearly all day here in the Justrand household. So here’s my shout-out to the BJG Team, and to Judy for this post!
You ALL rock!
Folks, 2010 is going to be a helluva year…but if we stay frosty the Dems and their radical ilk will be the big losers. And if we DON’T win in 2010 at the ballot box, then 2011 will a year of “different” things.
[41]
If they can watch us, and learn absolutely nothing (despite countless historical references showing them in advance that everything they are doing or about to do is wrong and will not work, or work out well) then they are freaking morons, and I don’t care if they watch us. I don’t have a fancy pants red phone like Beck, but if they think that what we are saying is actually wrong (not to be confused with it makes them feel bad because they are stupid) they are free to tell me so. But I will remind them, that after 8 long years of “Bushitler”, “Not my president”, “dissent is patriotic”, they can’t tell me that our fact (vs fantasy or feelings) based arguments for why they need to cool it with this path needs to stop because it is “bad for democracy”. Let me remind them also, that this is still a republic, and they are not representing said republic one iota. They have ignored their oath, and are not above the law. Calling out a liar is not wrong! Obama has and continues to lie and put this country in grave danger and if you are watching this site thinking our noticing of his acts is the real problem? Kinda like Boxer saying the real villain in climategate was the hacker who exposed the fraud? Pull your head out of your ass.
[42]
The liberals are sitting ducks. Most of them are located in the cities. Urban environments are deserts without the inputs feeding them — food, water, electricity. Deny any one of these services and they are trapped like populace of Carthage.
[43]
OT – Jason Bay signs with the Mets
[44]
“Do you guys really think this site is NOT being monitored?”
? monitors BJG several times a day bro.
[45]
drdog, they will then leave the cities and try to ravage the countryside. This is where the whole 2nd Amendment thingee kicks in…
[46]
justrand – from the people I know in the country here (Ohio), that wont play well. Most are armed, know how to use them and willing to do what is necessary.
[47]
up at our cabin the local community is pretty much 100% armed…and pretty damn dangerous too!
Of course, it’s Kalifornia, so we’re behind enemy lines. But partisan activity is the Achilles heel of tyrants!
[48]
drdog, they will then leave the cities and try to ravage the countryside. This is where the whole 2nd Amendment thingee kicks in…
Yep, both counts. In our favor is the fact maybe half never boiled water, so about day 3 or 4 most will have their hands in the air saying ‘feed me’.
[49]
Eph
Chek doesn’t seem to be around…not posting on HHR.
[50]
RWY,
They are going to shoot you with a tranquilizer dart and then, when they have you in captivity, give you sodium penthenol to see what info you have on the rest of us.
You see, they can torture us since we are subhuman.
[51]
MDefl – better to be a subhuman than a nonhuman. At least it is an upgrade.
[52]
Nevada Governor calls Reids HC bill a ‘knife in the back’. FNC.
[53]
#39 Yet they drive on with HC lol
If this does not give you a HUGE indication at the amount of power that the left feels will be transfered from the people to the unelected technocrats of the leftist state nothing will lol
Mark Styen is one of the FEW who get how much of a GAMECHANGER that HC really is – he has LIVED it my friends in Canada and the UK!
Once they have the population eating the s^&t out of their hands daily for mere survival ie health care, their job, their welfare they got ya by the jewels lol
Unfortunately, our GOP establishment defintely doesnt get it with their “Win in 10” and “Lookie here, no public option – its watered down!” line…..really, I dont think any of those cats have a clue HOW the Democrats HC nationalization works or how they got hustled into basically getting HillaryCare in lock n stock…
Tragically, they and the major figures in the Conservative media have educated the public either so the civil unrest we need to see starting 3 JAN probably aint gonna happen either….and we get the shaft….
As Styen said on the Rush show today, you aint gonna have money or will to do NOTHING except run the nanny state if this Crap gets in….so the bad dudes of the world will have our arse on a regular basis once the full decline sets in….
The only bright side is that the eurotrash who sponged off our free defense of their arse will have their cookie out in the wind so to speak too……but those sissy are all ready allowing the islamofacists to tear up their arse daily on thier own turf while collect welfare checks from them!
The islamofacists really got our leftists and PC cowered population pegged good – we will nanny state our way into social suicide and they will mop up lol
Just to hasten the collapse, they will drop a few attacks like this just to b^*&hslap us down and show us who is top dog….
Pathetic….
Unless those of us with common sense and internal fortitude get off the couch and say to the leftist/islamofacists: ENOUGH!
[54]
You guys are all sounding like Mad Maxx!
[55]
Dog,
The NV Gov is no treat himself. With any luck, he will be defeated in the primary.
[56]
49. Jan
? must have gotten Prozac as a stocking stuffer this year.
[57]
50. LOL
[58]
janzam: “You guys are all sounding like Mad Maxx”
and your point is? 🙂
It’s gonna get ugly, janzam, and we’re just planning ahead!!
[59]
Wasn’t Mad Maxx a moderate?
[60]
I actually think that 2010 could be the worst year for this country since 1929-1930
[61]
Wasn’t Mad Maxx a moderate?
LOL
[62]
Justrand
If it ever gets that ugly all I have for protection is a rubber band I could flick at people.
[63]
Heh, at least Jan didn’t say you guys all sound like Attila the Hun.
[64]
“Never can tell how many of the military may disappear and midnight requisition some equipment.”
—
It’s already on the minds of some in the force structure. While some will follow orders as programed a majority will not and a minority will actively engage their prior comrades. Sad but realistic.
[65]
How long do you think that it will be before Skippy tries to blame the Nigerian underwear bomber on Bush? After all, both Nigeria and international air travel were in existence during the Bush administration so Skippy merely inherited these things from GWB.
[66]
janzam…the BJG’ers have a few more “things” than rubber-bands. Trust us 🙂
[67]
“Do you guys really think this site is NOT being monitored?”
—
I’ve assumed it has been for months, I simply don’t give a flying phuq anymore, come get me.
[68]
“How long do you think that it will be before Skippy tries to blame the Nigerian underwear bomber on Bush? ”
—
Retlaw he and members of his administration already tried doing this for two days now, that will be the finding of his “investigation” I’m sure.
[69]
Something tells me that Zero’s investigation will find out that it was someone hired during the Bush administration who failed to relay the information to the other agencies to put this guy on the no-fly list. … so they will come looking for every Republican and conservative working in government and replace them with 1o liberals.
[70]
“so they will come looking for every Republican and conservative working in government and replace them with 1o liberals.”
—
They already started doing that, remember that directive a few months back about reviewing all hired from 2005 forward?
[71]
retlaw,
The slight/blame to the Bush administration was delivered during his speech. Went something like ‘… long standing security procedures that we will put under review…’. O might as well have had a cardboard cutout of Bush with a pointer that said ‘long standing’
[72]
Okay folks.. the left’s defense is that President Bush did not discuss Richard Reid’s failed bombing attempt for six days. However, they are glossing over the distinctions.
Richard Reid was not on a terrorist watch list at the time he boarded his flight. Richard Reid’s mother (he had no father — remember) did not visit the US embassy to report her son’s terrorist ties and potentially dangerous actions. The news is coming out that Abdulmutallab’s father contact officials 5 (five, five, five) times.
There was not systemic failure on December 2001 — there wasn’t a system in place yet — we didn’t even have the 911 Commission Report in December 2001. Now ZERO will admit that there was systemic failure in December 2009. He just won’t admit it was an orchestrated ISLAMIC terrorist attack and that others are on the way.
[73]
WOW — linked at another blog…. is his my second 15 Warhol minutes?
[74]
judy, you’ll ALWAYS be famous with us!
[75]
Chris Plante, DC radio host that preceeds Rush, did probably the most articulate parsing of yesterday’s statement by Zero. He noted that Zero had no indignation for the terrorists involved in the Christmas day plot to blow up another US airline and murder hundreds. No instead he noted that Zero’s indignation was reserved for the intelligence community. When there is a transcript I will link…
It leads me to wonder yesterday Zero stated Tuesday….
funny how when Zero promised on Monday
…. I didn’t realize ZERO meant he was going to go after US intelligence officials… again…
Ah — but the kool-aid drinking Obamabots on the left are anti-intelligence community and have wanted the CIA on trial for years.
