Obama Renegs on CSPAN Promise

This seems to be picking up steam (at least on FNC):

http://www.breitbart.tv/the-c-span-lie-did-obama-really-promise-televised-healthcare-negotiations/

Think PoliFact will select this as the “Lie of the Year” for 2010? Perhaps they will make the announcement at halftime of the Lions-Bills Superbowl game a year from now.

Airing the healthcare negotiations on CSPAN is just one of many broken promises that included more openness, lobbyists would not hold positions in an Obama administration and a tax cut for 95% of Americans.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid promised transparency in government. The old style of politics would be a thing of the past. With the “Louisiana Purchase” and “Omaha Stakes,” it appears they have elevated “old style politics” and corruption to a new level.

Promise them anything … but give them the shaft.

    Obama is the most prolific liar in American politics ever.

    The opposition ought to pound him incessantly on it.

    Obama = LIAR.
    Obama = LIAR.
    Obama = LIAR!

    Permanent jobs are not coming back in the private sector.

    They spin seasonal jobs, and government jobs, and soon census jobs, but it is just paper thin. This economy is not coming back. Recession will soon morph into depression, and Captain Bullshit will still be flying around on AF1 to world capitals and Hawaii and celeb parties while the American worker lanquishes.

    The goal of Soros/Obama is to bankrupt the US economy and pick up the pieces while America sleeps or wallows in white guilt.

    This collection of scum needs to be thrown out.

    Unemployment stayed at 10%…NOT lowering due to seasonal hiring. January looks to be brutal.

    The AP said it stayed there “unexpectedly”.

    I do not think the word “unexpectedly” means what the AP thinks it means.

    Hey, MFG, get on this:

    Petition to recall LA Senator Mary Landrieu
    Clarice Feldman

    The blog And So It Goes in Shreveport notes that a petition to recall Senator Mary Landrieu has been accepted for filing by the Louisiana Secretary of State. Citizens have 180 days to file enough signatures to get this on a ballot:

    Read all about it:

    Eph, That’s got to be for state officials.

    Mary won’t be recalled.

    Does anyone have a SINGLE case of where this has happened before?

    Any year, any state?

    I am about tapped out on patience. I suspect others are.

    I see suffering here in my community. I see the outreach charities, FoodBank and others, unable to meet the needs because contributions are down. The contributors have become the recipients. I see people losing homes and unable to manage their affairs. I see crimes rates for robbery and burglary going up because of the Obama economy.

    This is not going to end well.

    Well, artist, dont read the link, just make a blanket statement.

    I agree that she wont be recalled, but it is apparently possible and I am glad they are trying.

    Thanks, Bruce, I’m going to participate

    I circulated petitions to recall Edwin Edwards many years ago, and I’ll be happy to go do this to see if we can get rid of Landrieu

    Even if its a 1% chance, we’re going to go for it
