“He was guilty of nothing, except that he earned his own fortune and never forgot that it was his.“ The concept contained within that phrase is what has set America apart, and made her the greatest nation on Earth. And it is the systematic attack on that concept, that this website is dedicated to fighting. This website is NOT devoted to making people “wealthy”, but rather to fighting the notion that the “wealth” they DO have needs to be “redistributed”.

RP,

When my grandmother needed teeth for the first time, she really didn't have the cash. But she had a skill, bookkeeping, so she traded a set for a years worth of service. Dentist went for it. I am afraid today way too many people just aren't traders and would rather just sit on the dole.

JM

The "Sister had to wear the dead woman's teeth" will never be topped. Even when one realizes that dental work is not covered now nor ever, the comment in itself is amazingly stupid.

Of all the animal enclosures, the killer whale exhibit is the most cruel. Zoos can create natural habitat for most any animal, giving them room while still containing them. I'm not necessarily an advocate, but it can be done.

A whale, on the other hand is a mammal adapted to surviving over thousands of miles of seaway, many hundreds of feet deep. At sea world, they are contained in a tank with a few thousand gallons of sea water. Solitary confinement, as opposed to traveling and hunting in a pack. Eating mackeral, one at a time, as opposed to seals.

Yesterday was a tragedy, but when you think about it, a woman in a black diving suit probably looks like a seal.
