CAIR has filed suit on behalf of Muslim women who were terminated for refusing to abide by clothing requirements in Minnesota. The employer claimed that burkas were dangerous and could get caught up in moving machinery. The rules forbidding loose fitting clothing were in place long before the Muslim women were hired.

Actually the Fox polling results mirror Rasmussen overall (47/53 today). The problem with Ras isn’t his overalls, but the strongly approve/strongly disapprove. As JR pointed out, the strongly approve is the number that fluctuates. Strongly disapprove remains constant.

I can’t get a grip on economic directions anymore. Deficits as far as the eye can see. Unemployment stagnant. Housing sales show some signs of improvement. But, interest rates are starting to go up. Then we have the consumer sales up 9.1% in March. The U.S. stock market is steadily approaching 11,000, while Greece is going down the tubes!
Most perplexing is the economist Roubini, who has consistently been the prophet of economic doom, now showing some optimism. This was posted today in Roubini’s Global Economics Report:
