It will be interesting to see what the Democrats and the media comed up with in the next 38 days and how the Republicans stand there and take it like whipped puppies.

bc3b…I think your comment (1) is what I have started to be concerned about. Up until the last few days I have been very confident we will sweep these elitists/marxist/fascist devils out of power and send the fear of God into all the RINOs. But all at once I am starting to fear that somehow this opportunity will slip away. But all you can do is be active where you can, support with the $$$ you can afford. And if you are given to prayer you certainly should do that….it may be the best weapon left.

Its an October Surprise vs November Surprised. Bruce what do you think the Dims have left? They are stymied by their own party fractures vis a vis spending. Trying to make Boehner the boogie man is not having traction. The best they have been able to come up with lately is a Colbert Congressional Standup routine.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think they have one.

Stephen Colbert is nothing but a joke reader, and his writers are unfunny idiots, IMO.

But the real morons in this deal are the members of the democratic congress. They just provided the perfect image of how this congress is oblivious to the concerns of the people, and what unserious fools they are.

Keep it up, Pelosi and all.

Dr Dog….the Dems only have what they usually have….lies, lies and more lies. They also have tons of money, union organizations and GOTV thugs, systematic fraud and endless support from media, academia and entertainment. All of this will be in full throat and effort for the next 30 days.

I’m just going thru one of those periods of time where my confidence and energy are a bit low.

I do think that President Ubiquitous is actually helping us. His endless trips to microphones and cameras have made even his supporters sick of hearing and seeing him. He might be our secret weapon.

On the Boehner affair rumors, it’s not much of a surprise anymore since they’ve been leaking it all week. It seems to me that they know there is no truth to it and are trying to spread it as a rumor instead of coming out directly with a false accusation.

Just to emphasize what went on in Stokes Country, a single anonymous person complained about the flag on the veteran’s memorial. The ACLU picked it up as a cause and the city manager and the town council caved on threat of a lawsuit, and ordered its removal.

These citizens are keeping a 24/7 vigil to protect the display. Rain tonight and the next two days.

The anonymous guy (a minority of one in King, NC) will stay dry, I presume.

bruce – hang in there brother. The left is getting desperate, that is why rumors and other crap. They know the right and the middle are pissed at them. Thus they need to depress us through any and all means.

    Don’t give them the satisfaction.

If Hitler was a democrat – the left would vote for him.

If Mao was a democrat – the left would vote for him.

If Stalin was a democrat – the left would vote for him.

If the Anit-Christ was a democrat – the left would vote for him.

The left has no morals or ethics. Just raw naked power with no concern about individual rights. So buck up and don’t give them the satisfaction.

But since they can’t- they praise his name as someone they look up to and draw inspiration from, and put his image on Christmas ornaments in the White House.

Thanks, IP. I am off to an afternoon retreat. Those vivid poetic images will put me in the right frame of mind.

I can just hear my retreat leader saying, “Bruce, what is going thru your mind today in regards to this weeks Gospel?”

“Oh, I was pondering pucker strings and shriveling puds, actually….and how those things may lead us all to enlightenment.”

The kids filed back into class Monday morning. They were very excited. Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on productive salesmanship.

Little Sally led off: “I sold girl scout cookies and I made $30,” she said proudly, “My sales approach was to appeal to the customer’s civil spirit and I credit that approach for my obvious success.”

    “Very good,” said the teacher.

    Little Jenny was next:

“I sold magazines,” she said, “I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events.”

“Very good, Jenny,” said the teacher..

Eventually, it was Little Johnny’s turn.

The teacher held her breath …

Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of cash on the teacher’s desk. “$2,467,” he said.

“$2,467!” cried the teacher, “What in the world were you selling?”

    “Toothbrushes,” said Little Johnny.

“Toothbrushes!” echoed the teacher, “How could you possibly sell enough tooth brushes to make that much money?”

“I found the busiest corner in town,” said Little Johnny, “I set up a Dip & Chip stand and gave everybody who walked by a free sample.”

They all said the same thing, “Hey, this tastes like dog shit!”

Then I would say,”It is dog shit. Wanna buy a toothbrush?”

“I used the governmental approach of giving you something ‘shitty’ for free, And then making you pay to get the ‘shitty’ taste out of your mouth.”

If the rumors about Boehner are true, the man is AN IDIOT!!!!! We’re trying to keep the Dhimmis out of Congress and he pulls a stunt like this . . . .

What is it about some male members of Congress that they can’t keep it in their pants?!?

Feds are now bailing out wholesale credit unions . . . (I thought credit unions were “safer” than banks)

And with the story about the DOJ, I am convinced that transparency DOES exist in the current administration . . . . it is completely transparent that this administration and most if not all persons appointed under this administration are the MOST CORRUPT GROUP OF PEOPLE EVER . . . .

And now some voters are having buyer’s remorse? Shame on them for buying into the hype.

A big if, but big deal. The conservative movement is much bigger than any single flawed person. If it’s true, dump him and find a replacement to lead the House. The only way it can harm us is if we allow it to. That’s just surrendering to the liberals.

#32 – “dump him and find a replacement to lead the House.”

Exactly. I was listening to NPR the other morning and the discussion was centered around the “Young Guns” of the GOP – how they’re not exactly “in line” with the established Repubs in Congress. Get one of these as speaker. I’m just ticked that Boehner would be the one to advertise a plan for the Repubs to take over the House when he’s tainted . . . . . if he knew of this in advance, USE SOMEONE ELSE to push the Repub challenge in regards to P.R. for the Repubs.
