I know I commented on these two statements in the threads…but they are so HATEFUL and intentionally provocative that they need to stand alone. This man is TRYING to stir up hatred…and doing a fine job! Apparently he IS good at something after all.

O/T There was mention on the last thread about the Kalifornia governore race. Frank Luntz was on Hannity and claimed the Whittman campaign was self-destruction and that she is now trailing by double digits while Carly is staying close to Boxer. Is this true?

The LA times had Whitman down by -13. I wonder if that is what Luntz was referencing. Whitman has countered by saying it was a bogus poll and that her internals have her down a point or two. She has come out with a new ad — one that is warmer, more personal, and directly addresses her adversaries who chide her about being a billionaire without any experience. Maybe it will rekindle some positive thoughts about her with the large undecideds this race still has.

Has there ever been a POTUS that said such nasty things? I don’t remember Carter being so nasty about large segments of the population.
I know Nixon had his enemies list but that was individuals and private, I don’t recall public statements…more in the way that Obama has publicly called out Rush, Hannity, Rove, et al
