Beach Boy: “Obama’s an A**hole”

2012 May 11
by bc3b

As if Barack Obama wasn’t having a bad enough week, everyone from Bristol Palin to Bruce Johnston, one of the Beach Boys, is attacking him:

Americans will be “f**ked” if Barack Obama gets re-elected … this according to Beach Boys singer Bruce Johnston.

Bruce was signing autographs for fans in New York yesterday when the conversation turned political.

“Obama’s an a**hole, “Johnston says … adding, “Unless you’re interested in never having any money and being socialized.”

But Johnston was an equal opportunity disser — saying, “And who’s the Republican a**hole?”

“Our guy isn’t any good.”

He continued, “You got Reagan and Tip O’Neill … those are the last two good guys.”

“Wait ’til Obama doesn’t have to try anymore,” Bruce added … “you’re f**ked.”

Bad week taking its toll on Zippy: Romney 50 – Obama 43

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney earning 50% of the vote and President Obama attracting 43% support. Four percent (4%) would vote for a third party candidate, while another three percent (3%) are undecided.

This is the first time Romney has reached the 50% level of support and is his largest lead ever over the president. It comes a week after a disappointing jobs report that raised new questions about the state of the economy. See tracking history.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) give the president good or excellent marks for his handling of the economy.  Forty-eight percent (48%) say he’s doing a poor job. Consumer confidence has slipped four points since last week’s government report on job creation and unemployment. The number who believe their personal finances are getting better slipped from 30% a week ago to 28% today. The number who fear their finances are getting worse increased from 43% before the jobs report to 47% today.

With things going the way they are for Obama, it appears mainly the extreme left and minorities with be voting for him.

Of course, a lot can happen between now and the election, and the Mainstream Media will be working overtime to try to make it happen.

On a serious note this election is quickly turning into a race based event. Its going to be the Whites vs the Minorities. We need to get every last breathing honky to the polls if we intend to turn this sucker around.

Those idiots attacking Bristol totally miss the point..

Bristol said “A child does better with a father and a mother.”

None of the attacks against her dispute the veracity of her statement.

however, these Palin haters have never let facts or truth get in their way when spewing their venom.

The positive side is that Bristol isn’t suffering from any delusions that raising a child as a single mother is the same as raising a child in a father & mother household.

Very true, but I’m sure Bristol gets a lot more support from her family than 95% of single moms. Especially in the inner-city where a new single mom may bell be a third generation single mom. Not a whole lot of men around to help celebrate Mother’s Day Sunday.

Between him and John Lovitz speaking out…Obama is indeed getting it from both sides. So many folks are finally waking up to the fact that it is not racist to point out the direction this country is going.

I was a single mom until my daughter was 4, and it sucked!!! However, I can look back and appreciate the experience from the standpoint of how many folks I have been able to help as a result. I used to pray that what I was going through was not in vain…and God honored that- He put people in my life to help.

I also notice that Gallup sure is a lot higher for Obama now that Assholerod complained about their polling.

When Kalifornia was still California (40 – 50 years ago) its students would have been in the top 10. But take heart, Kalifornia Kids know who Eldridge Cleaver and Harvey Milk were. Amazingly, coming from a teaching background, other states want to copy what is done in California. Secondly, California, along with Texas are where textbooks mostly come from.

As you well know CA, TX, NY & VA lead the list in number of enrolled students. TX also has a civilian review board separate from the NEA types. The publishers know where their bread is buttered.

Hopefully with the coming of ebooks it is quite possible for other state to band together and provide top notch texts of their own.

I find it insulting though that Michigan Dept of Education which I have been hired by in the past as a consultant sets standards different from other states and then the only textbooks available are from those states you mentioned which are tailored to them. Then we buy them and are told to teach our standards from textbooks written for Texas or California standards and curriculums. And you are right–it’s a racket.

“What is interesting is how profoundly hostile government is to the free market, and yet the free market, time and again, proves itself more efficient than the government. And, in those few places where the free market, or supposed free market, takes on bureaucratic characteristics, such as local utilities, or at one time the phone company, it was because the company in question was insulated from competition by government decree.

No, the free market is not perfect, perfection is not to be found in this life, but it produces results superior to any other option. It fails at times, sometimes the results are particularly bad, but so does every other system. What the free market does well is catch and correct those mistakes, and do it quickly. No other system does that. (“Third Best Economy”, “Planning For Imperfection”, “Greed Versus Evil”)

And every time I have to deal with the government, I am reminded of that.”

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the ‘Peanuts’ comic strip.

You don’t have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them.

    1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

    2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

    3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.

4 Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

    5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.

    6. Name the last decade’s worth of World Series winners.

    How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.

    These are no second-rate achievers.

They are the best in their fields.

    But the applause dies..

    Awards tarnish..

    Achievements are forgotten.

Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here’s another quiz. See how you do on this one:

    1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

    2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

    3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

    4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

    5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

    The lesson:

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the
most credentials, the most money…or the most awards.

They simply are the ones who cared the most.

Actually I don’t think govt is hostile to a free market, they are lazy. If I am a bureaucrat which environment would I rather adjudicate?

1/ A market of millions of little players no single one of them a major influence on the market segment as a whole.
2/ A market dominated by 5-6 big players any one of which controls a corresponding share of the market.

    (1) would be easier to manipulate except it is harder to do. I have millions of those cats to do my bidding. Whereas in (2) I can get all the liars in a room and hash it out behind closed doors. (2) also reduces my administrative expenses.

    Bottom line — they’re lazy.

Whenever I had to fly to the West Coast I flew Continental because the meal was decent by tourist airlines standards and they even came through with hot towels (even in tourist). If you had a date with a stewardess, your buddies envied you.

Today flight attendants are poorly-paid overweight women or gay guys. They’ve taken at least five inches out between rows and there is no meal service even if you are flying coast-to-coast. The incident occurred when officer Jerad Wheeler was called to the pregnant woman’s home to settle a dispute involving the woman’s brother and his partner.

When her brother began arguing with the officer, nine month pregnant Raven Dozier said that Wheeler pulled out a taser and used it on him. When Miss Dozier started crying and asking the officer why he was resorting to such actions, Wheeler kicked her in the stomach, arrested her and charged her with obstruction of a police officer.”
