Stating the Obvious

In a C-Span interview Van Jones stated the utterly obvious:

You’ve never seen the environmental movement more quiet during an oil spill. I guarantee you, if John McCain had been President, with that oil spill, or George Bush had been President with that oil spill, I’d have been out there with a sign protesting. I didn’t, because of who the President was.”

Rare honestly from him.  But gee, what about all those other “advocacy groups”??

  • PETA…immediately granted Obama a “PASS” when the Obama dog- eating story came out..IMMEDIATELY.
  • NOW has diligently ignored all attacks by the Democrats/Left on Conservative women. And when the quotes of Obama actually bullying a girl in High School came out, they IMMEDIATELY grated Obama a “PASS”.
  • When Herman Cain was viciously attacked as an “Uncle Tom”, the NAACP kept mum…ditto the attacks on Allen West and every other Black Conservative.
  • When Republicans are “outed” as Gay by the Left the LGBTXYZ lobbies suddenly find bright shiny objects to distract them.
  • Jorge Zimmerman…who is ½ Latino (mother is full Latino) and a first-generation immigrant…has been labeled an “Angry White Man”, and thus the various Latino and immigrant lobbies (LaRaza, et al) have never even thought about lifting a finger in his defense.
  • The anti-war groups (Code Pink, et al) do ZERO anti-war rallies these days…spending their time trying to recall Governor Walker, protesting Mitt Romney (for some reason or other), and otherwise IGNORING the fact that MORE Americans have died in Afghanistan during the 3 years of Jughead’s Residency, than during the entire eight years of Bush!!
  • And so on…

Right down the line, EVERY Leftist advocacy group exists ONLY to promote Democrats to power. EVERY one of these groups is “committed” to their cause only when it serves to denigrate Republicans and/or Conservatives…and is otherwise in the business of passing out “PASSES”.

Van Jones was only stating the obvious

Yes indeed…..all the things that the left would be SCREAMING about with a Republican president, they are utterly silent on with the won.

New information coming out about the Zimmerman case, btw. The left is so desperate to hang him that they are going to seek a hate crime since he probably won’t be convicted in this case by any conventional standard.

If you go to Hot Air, the Palin haters are out in force. She had nothing to do with Deb Fischer’s win. According to the haters, Fisher was surging (but 16 points behind and broke) when Sarah and Todd endorsed her.

FINALLY the Left is feeling a pushback on multiple fronts:

The Catholic Church needs to keep this up…because if they cave to a “promise” of “flexibility” after the election then the only the “flexibility” that will be exhibited will be theirs, as the Church is rolled up and suppressed.

justrand and bc There’s an old joke goes someting like this. I think it was from University of Detroit. Jesuit University.

    Shortened for here.

A man met a nun and asked her what type of nun she was?
    The nun rsponded Dominican.
The man said what are Dominican nuns like?
The nun responded, ” We are to the nuns what the Jesuits are to priests.”
The man responded, “A Pain in the Ass!”

As a graduate of the school, I can attest to the fact that the University of Detroit is a joke. K-12 Catholic education in 95%+ of schools is excellent and follows the Church teaching. Most “Catholic” colleges and universities are no different from state schools. When my kids left Bishop Foley Catholic, they headed to state colleges.

Kelly D. @kellybird123 How many were put on credit cards? RT @BarackObama 98% of the donations the campaign received in April were less than $250, and the aver…

over at Michelle Malkins Twitchy… she posts a key question asked by Kelly Bird.

Congratulations to the Obama campaign, obviously they were able to get their credit card contribution scam in operation. Remember that ZERO workers go to Walmart, etc and buy a prepaid credit cards.

Then they process contributions based upon the balances on those cards. This way they can convert those illegal $1 million dollar donations into 4,000+ individual contributions of under $250. That $250 magic number when donor information must be captured.

I wonder if anyone ran statistics on the credit card numbers if there would appear to be some strangely high percentage of consecutive numbers or card issuers.

Who would have access to those numbers, independent of the Obama admin?

Asks the question ..Why does Obama hate the media? ROFLMAO

Not for the same reason conservatives, Romney, Republicans dislike and distrust the media.

Obama hates them becuase the media, between all of their fawning and Zero-ass kissing, still pretend to be doing the job of a free press.

Obama dislikes segments of the media because some do dare to question the one. Obama dislikes the other segments of the media because they ask questions, even thought they spin and twist the answers to put Obama in the best light possible … even if they have to lie to do so.

The trouble is that Obama feels that not only should no one dare to question him, no one should even ask a question.

It would appear that Obama narcissism transcends tone so that ask “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING???” is the same as ‘whatcha do’in?”

The Messiah must believe that the people are entitled to know only what information he deems to give. NO Questions ASKED!!!

JM –#9 the FEC could request the payment records … something I know that Attorney General JUDYT would immediately demand, along with the other 1,000 document requests.

The issuer would have the information of where the funds are remitted. Walmart keeps track of when/how those prepaid cards are used? The Walmart bank must submit the funds which I think is the GE bank.

Prepaid cards, especially gift cards are a delight to issuers becuause there is a 10% never redeemed rate. Imagine a 10% pure profit margin on top of the profit margin of products.

And Sam’s Club credit card is processed by GE Bank.

They have a Dem group and Rep group doing it together. Their polling is totally unpredictable. Up nad down more than any others. It’s as if they are trying to please both sides. One month Romney the next month Obama. BLAH BLAH BLAH

I’d say that the poll is a mess by saying Romney would only get 39%. after 3 and half years of Obama crap do they seriously believe only 39% would vote against Obama?

PLus, I think Romney should expand te states and go into some Dem ones. Maybe New Jersey, Oregon, and Maine. I think he could pull close enough to make Obama have to spend time and money there. Plus, it could help te ticket down the line.

MiC, I can’t get your cnbc link to work. I bet it was a great speech though.

The Fox poll is especially weird since on all the salient questions about finance, economics, and other policies, no one approved of Obama’s handling of anything except foreign policy. Would like to know the sample.

Te cnbc link worked for me. They show an ad first and then it is a little slow starting with someone else. A couple of minutes in is when Santelli goes at it and it gets better the further it runs. He goes after a Biden advisor and Dodd – Frank.

With the bad calls the umpire made he is lucky he didn’t get punched out. HA

The Hedge Hog Report has an interesting take on polling this year and all the different results pollsters are coming up with. He even says PPP went after Rasmussen on twitter. When pollsters start fighting it out it should get real interesting.

PPP is the occicial pollster for the Daily Kos and has very close ties to the Democratic Party. It is run by a young leftist and the retired head of the North Carolina ACLU.

As a U-D grad, the best thing I can say about the school is that it sucks. When they made the NCAA playoffs this year, it’s the first time I hyave been proud of it in 30 years. I went to University of Dayton, another Catholic university and a far superior university, for my Masters. University of Detroit-Mercy has pretty much become a ghetto school. Most of the family in my generation went there. None of our kids have.

When the enemy comes up with a new socialist proposal, instead of
outright opposition as they should, the gynos(gelded rinos) come up with their own quasi socialist response.

    For gngang:

In Ohio there is a town called New Bremen, where there is a large German-speaking population.

One day, a local farmer was driving down a country road and noticed a man using his hand to drink water from a neighbor’s stock pond. The farmer rolled down his window and shouted: “Sehr angenehm! Trink das Wasser nicht. Die kuehe haben darein geschissen.”

Which means: “Glad to meet you! Don’t drink the water. The cows have shit in it.”

The man shouted back: “I’m from New York and just down here campaigning for Obama. I can’t understand you. Please speak in English.”

The farmer replied: “Use both hands.”
