The Price of Freedom

One of the definitions of “Institutionalized” [in•sti•tu•tion•al•ized] is:

– dependent on routine of institution: lacking the will or ability to think and act independently because of having spent a long time in an institution such as a psychiatric hospital or prison

…or a Democrat controlled precinct in Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, etc. In America the disease of “institutionalization”, characterized by a drop in the will or ability to think and act independently, has been largely contained to those precincts, spreading slowly as some of the inmates moved to places like Oregon, New Hampshire and North Carolina. However, the pace and virulence of the spreading of this disease has been increasing for decades, and resulted in the election of Barack Hussein Obama.

Only someone lacking the will and/or ability to think and act independently could vote for someone whose ENTIRE campaign was based on “Hope & Change”. WTF?

Communist countries rely on “institutionalization” as a means to keep their populace in check…even more than they rely on Internal Security. Early on they use massive and brutal methods to convince their people that resistance is worse than futile…it’s fatal!  But as the populace becomes institutionalized they are easier and easier to control…and eventually guard themselves.

We’ve spoken before here about how an elephant can initially be trained to stay in one place through the use of a heavy chain wrapped around their ankle and attached to a spike driven deep into the ground. The beast learns that escape is impossible. Later the heavy chain is replaced with a piece of rope, attached to a stake barely driven into the ground. Although the elephant could easily break the rope and/or uproot the stake, it never tries…it is for all intents and purposes “institutionalized”.

For the last two+ decades the youth of our country have systematically had THEIR will and ability to think and act independently suppressed through our “education” system. They been told and taught that (like Obama’s “Julia”) the State will take care of them, the State will tell them what they need to know, and the State will ensure that everything is “fair”. All they have to do to ensure the State can continue to do all those marvelous things for them is: SUPPORT the State…and be dependent.

Our country was founded by men & women who fled institutionalization, whether by the State, the Church, or their circumstances. They risked, many failed…but America was born.

Now Barack Obama stands mere months from his chance to encircle the ankles of America with (initially) velvet chains. Velvet chains of “Free Stuff” redistributed from the “1%”. Consider the elephant, it IS fed and groomed, and in its compound it has NO predators seeking to harm it. It is safe and it is cared for. And as long as it performs a few tricks when it is told to, it will remain safe and cared for. That’s all Lord Obama and his ilk require of us…that we perform a few tricks when we are told, and that we remain tethered (for our own safety and well being, of course).

In words of Patrick Henry: “Forbid it, Almighty God!”

Note: even if the circus elephant did discover it could easily escape, and did so, it would not remain free for long…and might not even survive. It is no longer in a place where its skills and strength make it the true king of the jungle, it is “institutionalized”…it is a well kept slave.

In the first months of his Residency in the White House, Obama apologized to the world for America’s success…apologized for our freedom…apologized for our spirit…and apologized for our pride. If he gets reelected he will complete his transformation of America into a place where it is impossible (and undesirable) to success…make us dramatically less free…crush our spirit…and replace our pride with shame. Sameness and fairness will replace individuality and success. America will no longer consider paying the Price of Freedom…we will be tethered, fed and groomed on a schedule, and institutionalized. Like the elephant, we will no longer be in a place where our skills and strength make us “king of the jungle”…we’ll just be one more group of people in the New World Order.

Truer words were never spoken. Think of what Obama has tried to do to fundamentally change this country in the past 3-1/2 years. Imagine what he will do in the next four, knowing he will never have to face the voters again.

As much as I loathe Mitt Romney I will vote for him. I am even considering contributing to his campaign. The stakes are just too high.

I will vote for Romney. But my money is going for down ticket races. Especially for Senate.

Found this interesting – making chips that aren’t 100% accurate to save space\energy\increase speed.
    http://news.rice.edu/2012/05/17/computing-experts-unveil-superefficient-inexact-chip/

Lots of little applications for a chip where efficiency is far more important then 100% accuracy.

At election time, I think Romney is going to have to be up 6 to 8 points in Rasmussen and Gallup, nationally and in the swing states, to overcome voter fraud.

The stakes are so high for obama, et al that a new administration is inconceivable and untenable. Every executive order will be overturned, all funding to left wingers will be cut off, fraud will be investigated and prosecuted, and the unraveling of obamacare will start in earnest.

Federal prison will be waiting for some of these people.

This election is serious business to these criminals.

What is the penalty for high treason?

“Howard Schmidt the White House Cybersecurity Coordinator is stepping down at the end of the month. Schmidt will be replaced by Michael Daniel, currently the head of the White House budget office’s intelligence branch.”

    Wait what?
The White House’s budget office has an intelligence branch to it?
Is this the same WH budget office that produced budgets that last two years that have yet to get a single vote in favor of them in either house of congress?

I wish I could share the hubris of the fishy one, but alas I doubt
that the rominator has the balls to reverse exec orders, and we need a filibuster proof senate to do anything about obammercare.

Your expectations may be closer to reality than mine.

I think it does not take balls to reverse EOs, just the will. There would be no consequences to most of that crap.

As for obamacare, hopefully SCOTUS throws it all out, and the funding is cut off to the states. What is not funded unravels.

And I worry that my blonde hair, blue eyes, white nephew thinks I am a racist because I said those kids could not go to Baltimore to follow their favorite band around.

Other cities okay… but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER Baltimore.

    Grab the Barf Bags:

FNC Contributor Tamara Holder Accused of Affair with Jesse Jackson, Sr. in Lawsuit:

    http://www.aim.org/aim-column/media-pundit-named-in-jesse-jackson-lawsuit/

Holder is definitely the dullest and most obnoxious liberal woman in the FNC stable.

Since Jesse’s daughter is also an FNC commentator, maybe she can comment on this.

The “Reverend” already has one “love child” in California and he’s behind in child swupport payments. I can only imagine what Jesse would be like were he not a “man of the cloth.”

Jackson will turn 71 in October. According to Wikipedia, he is still married to Jacqueline Lavinia Brown, whom he married in 1962.

judy, it’s been a few years since I’ve been in Baltimore but I saw good areas but I did not feel safe in many areas. Some areas just looked cruddy. And I was surprised at the inner city houses.

Germany and Greece are going at it. Leaders of te EU are fighting over whether Greece should exit or stay in the EU. Banks in Spain and Greece are downgraded. The G8 is going to meet and then this is reported from the NY Times.

European Union offices in Brussels were closed Friday and a spokesman for Mr. De Gucht could not be immediately reached for comment.

Sorta sounds like us. Lots of economic pain, let’s take a day off.

    MIC –

Been watching the playoffs? I expect the Rangers-Devils to go seven. How about those Kings? JM will be climbing aboard the bandwagon at any moment. I think the King’s Ice Girls deserve the credit.

I can’t understand why cities want to host conferences like this any more. It’s hardly worth the trouble.

The Tigers have been disappointing this year (especially considering the talent they have). Giving up 11 runs to the Twins was embarrassing.

Let’s just hope they materialize into votes come November. even republicans who don’t particularly like Romney are energized by what four more years of Obama can bring.
