Libs Threaten to Withhold Money, Votes

Too good to be true? Some on the far left are so upset with Barack Obama that they are threatening to withhold the money and their votes in 2012. Betcha it doesn’t happen … but we can dream.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (CBSDC/AP) — They are trying to be hopeful, but the Democratic Party’s most passionate voters are struggling to hide their frustration with President Barack Obama.

Republicans attack the president as a big-government liberal. Many liberals meeting Thursday at Netroots Nation — it describes the annual convention as “a giant family reunion for the left” — argue instead that Obama hasn’t fought hard enough for progressive priorities on taxes, health care and the economy.

Even more problematic for the president: With the election just five months away, some are threatening not to donate money or time or even vote in November for the man who overwhelmingly ignited their passions and captured their imaginations four years ago.

“I want to be happy with him,” said Democrat Kristine Vaughan, a 45-year-old school psychologist from Canton, Ohio. “But I am finding that he has succumbed to the corporate influence as much as everyone else. I think he has so much potential to break out of that, but overall he has been a disappointment.”

Vaughan isn’t sure whether she’ll vote for Obama a second time and probably won’t donate money as she did during his first campaign. She refuses to support Republican challenger Mitt Romney, but is considering writing in another candidate in protest.

    way O/T…

“What is more important, owls or the people of Tombstone?” James Upchurch, a Forest Service supervisor who oversees the wilderness, was asked in court earlier this year.

Upchurch responded: “there is no easy answer“, which left jaws dropping on Tombstone’s side of the courtroom.

I don’t know for certain, but I would imagine that Spotted Owls taste like chicken…maybe THAT’S the answer!

    MIC –

The great thing about being a Democrat is that you don’t have to be alive to vote.

Comment from the article in #4:

Who ever would have thought that owls were endangering the human population?

We should destroy these demon birds before any more suffering is inflicted on the people of Tombstone.

As if any further proof was needed that democrats HATE America.

While things seem to be falling apart for Obama, Yet, Kathleen Parker claims everything is falling into place for him. Don’t you just love the “conservatives” the liberal media appoints to speak for us?

bc3b…with all due respect, I think you misread that Kathleen Parker piece. Seriously…she ends with:

Dominoes, anyone? The chips, indeed, are beginning to fall. They fell in Wisconsin, where Democrats failed to unseat Gov. Scott Walker in the recall election. Not incidentally, Obama was MIA in the run-up to the election. Might he have sensed that things would not go well for Democrats and thus decided to step out of the frame? When the going gets tough, the survivors vamoose. ”

she isn’t saying that the Dominoes are falling in place FOR him..she’s saying tghe domineos are falling AGAINST him.

There are times when the libs have supported thge Green Party or Ralph Nader, but I don’t really see that happening in 2012.
