If all mankind minus one were of one opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.

As Instapundit would say — “A Pack, not a Herd.”

Kimberlin is a thug of the first order. I particularly like this observation that was highlighted on MM’ site —

“I don’t know whether or not Kimberlin is coordinating Team Kimberlin activities, or whether those activities are coordinated at all, as opposed to a bunch of nuts milling about. But if the aim of the nuts, collectively or individually, is to stop public comment on Kimberlin and his activities, then the nuts have failed in a catastrophic, apocalyptic, unhappy-cat-meme-worthy fashion. A senator has started to talk about it, which will lead to more mainstream press attention. Bloggers and lawyers are streaming to the cause. The ACLJ’s arrival could be cited in Urban Dictionary under “deus ex machina.” In short, the more Team Kimberlin attacks and escalates, the worse it gets for them, the louder their critics get, the more voices are raised, and the more public attention is drawn to the cause. Team Kimberlin’s strategy seems to be “I’m going to keep digging until this damn hole gets shallower.”

And that guy is a leftist with some clue as to what is about to happen.

    JR, 3,

I actually see a problem with how Calif has things set up. Its really a matter of the power of dilution. What if, the GOP in a district decided to flood the zone with a bunch of faux Democrats who split the vote all over the place?

The left has done an excellent job of controlling thought and speech through the nation’s educational system and the media. The growth in support for liberal issues (e.g. gays in the military, gay marriage, etc.) and the way the media was able tp demonize Sarah Palin in 2008 are examples of liberals’ success.

Wow…you mean the deficit is under control? you mean we’re reducing our National Debt?

NAH…consumer credit card debt shrank some. PERSONAL debt went down. They claim it’s people being responsible…in reality it’s people not BUYING things because they’re scared!

but the headline is intended to make the casual viewer THINK things are getting better!

Thanks for putting this thread up. I feel so bad for Aaron. Only under this administration would you have to worry about something like this. For all the whining from the left of “Boooooooooosh is out to get me!!!!!11!!!!”, there was actually nothing happening to them. At. All. The left swims in the lake of projection. All they worry about happening to them are things they know they are actually capable of inflicting on others, so they assume others are as evil as they are.

#21 “I do my religion on Sunday.” There you have it folks!!!!!! That single statement is 100% of what got us into this mess as a country. If you are at the point where church is just something you do on a Sunday, and God has no role in any other facet of your life from Monday through Saturday, you need to rethink your walk, and question whether or not you have one at all. You are an easy target for satan. He doesn’t even have to work for it! Make the goal of your week to be this: when you open your eyes in the morning, make the devil say “Oh crap! She’s up!”. If you are unsure of whether or not you are saved, ask God to open your heart and eyes to it. Ask Him to search your heart. I promise, you’ll know; but once you know, you then need to do something about it. You can’t un-see what He shows you, you can only deal with it, or turn a blind eye. Nancy is exercising willful ignorance, spitting in the face of the Lord. She has no place speaking for the church in any capacity, and those in the church who agree with her should not be speaking for the church either. SHAMEFUL.

I no longer buy anything using a credit card… I use my debit card for everything but renting cars when I travel and then when I return the car I use my debit card to settle the bill.

Back of the napkin analysis —

    * Clinton is clearly leaving land mines wherever he goes. One article goes so far as to suggest that Clinton is the only surrogate he has available. All the rest of his team (Axelrod, Jarret, etc) are ill equipped to fill the role.
    * Obama being the narcissist he is won’t initiate a shakeup of his reelection team for probably another 2 months.
    * It will probably take another month for him to define a new message. Romney does not help on that score as he is so squeaky clean O can’ t use his usual dirt digging destruction like has on past elections.

That means O burns June/July/August before he will pivot to a new theme. That leaves just 9 weeks left to campaign under the new banner. Bottom line is I think O is toast already. So long as Romney does not do something stupid like a bad VP pick, or a verbal trip-up the election is his. And don’t forget the Presidential debate as well. It could give Romney the chance to get under O’s skin and make him look like a fool.

    Yippppppeeeeee!!!!

Get on board for the big Willard win all you lemmings!

And watch exactly NOTHING of substance change in our elitest/statist authortiran government change!

“It is indeed time for a serious national debate on the economy. Economic fundamentals can make or break a society. Economic growth is a matter of life or death. Millions of Americans are suffering.

Unfortunately, the two political parties do not offer very different approaches. The rhetoric varies, but even here the differences are overblown. Both sides preach “‘energy independence”’—which is doublespeak for energy isolationism. Both sides want health care guaranteed to patients with preexisting conditions, so long as customers are forced to buy private insurance.

Despite conventional wisdom, both sides even favor approximately the same fiscal policy. All that drama in last year’s ridiculous budget debate was over about 2 percent of the deficit. Whoever won or lost made no difference to America’s economic health five years down the line.

And consider monetary affairs. After the boom, bust, bailouts, and expansion of the Federal Reserve’s powers, the long-neglected mystery of monetary policy finally became a national issue. But both sides of the political elite favor the same approach to this crucial question, evidenced by Barack Obama’s reappointment of George W. Bush’s Fed chief, Ben Bernanke.

While Republicans emphasize tax cuts for some groups and increased defense spending, and Democrats stress tax cuts on other groups and increased social spending, both sides agree with the main premises of Keynesianism. The blogosphere erupted over Romney’s concession to a core principle of progressive economics:

‘If you take a trillion dollars for instance, out of the first year of the federal budget that would shrink GDP more than 5 percent. That is by definition throwing us into recession or depression. So I’m not going to do that, of course. What you do is you make adjustments on a basis that show, in the first year, actions that over time get you to a balanced budget.’

Even those who agree with this must acknowledge that Americans will be deprived of anything approaching a deep discussion over economics in Romney’s exchanges with Obama. Lincoln-Douglas debates they will not be. Anyone who thinks something is radically wrong with the status quo has nowhere to turn.”

    64,

I do not expect radical things from Willard there FEC. But you know what, that really does not matter. Fact I think Willard might be the perfect foil for our times. More in a minute.

Look at our history. Was it a G. Washington, let alone a G. Bush that stood on the green or bridge at Lexington or Concord? Nope. Was it Jefferson Davis that turned Missouri red in the 1850’s? Nope. Was it F-16’s that prevented flight 93 from crashing into the Capital building? No. It is ordinary Americans, the folks at the bottom that precipitated the change. Fact in all our history, the New Deal stands out as the lone outlier that the change emanated from the top. And look what it has wrought, — debts and destruction.

No, for better or worse, change in this country is triggered at the bottom. We, as individuals and families, figure out how to solve the problems. It is only when it becomes clear the direction the populace is headed that the political class effects the changes to accelerate the change. That is what in a odd way makes Willard the perfect President if he wins. For if change truly bubbles from the bottom in this country then when push comes to shove, he will follow the popular will in that regard.

The trick is can he open the windows past the Washington – Wall Street axis and hear the rustling of change occurring?

And, we all know for a FACT, that four more years of Obama will see America so diminished domestically and internationally, that we will not recover in several lifetimes!

I am edging closer to going back on a promise…”evolving”, you might say. I just may wind up sending Romney a small donation if he keeps up taking the battle to Obama. Might…we’ll see.
