Gang Puts too Many Illegals on Fast Track

Members of the Senate’s bipartisan Gang of Eight have stressed that under their new immigration plan, currently illegal immigrants will have to wait more than a decade before achieving citizenship. Newly-legalized immigrants will be given a provisional status and “will have to stay in that status until at least ten years elapse and [border security] triggers are met,” Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio told Fox News on April 14. “Then the only thing they get is a chance to apply for a green card via the legal immigration system.” The green card process would take additional years, meaning the road to full citizenship could take as long as 15, or even 18, years.

Unless it doesn’t. A little-noticed exception in the Gang of Eight bill provides a fast track for many — possibly very many — currently illegal immigrants. Under a special provision for immigrants who have labored at least part-time in agriculture, that fast track could mean permanent residency in the U.S., and then citizenship, in half the time Rubio said. And not just for the immigrants themselves — their spouses and children, too.

A second provision in the legislation creates another fast track for illegal immigrants who came to the United States before they were 16 — the so-called Dreamers. The concept suggests youth, but the bill has no age limit for such immigrants — or their spouses and children — and despite claims that they must go to college or serve in the military to be eligible, there is an exception to that requirement as well.

USDA Helps Illegals Qualify for Food Stamps, Other Entitlements

The Department of Agriculture, via the Mexican government, assures potentially ineligible immigrants that they can still apply for food stamps on behalf of their eligible children without giving information about their immigration status, according to documents released Thursday by Judicial Watch.

A USDA Spanish language flyer provided to the Mexican Embassy, according to Judicial Watch, reads that if potentially ineligible immigrants want to obtain benefits for their children they “need not divulge information regarding your immigration status in seeking this benefit for your children.”

The Daily Caller has reportedextensively about the USDA/Mexico partnership that seeks to promote taxpayer-funded nutrition assistance among eligible Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals and migrant communities in America.

“USDA and the government of Mexico have entered into a partnership to help educate eligible Mexican nationals living in the United States about available nutrition assistance,” the USDA explains in a brief paragraph on its “Reaching Low-Income Hispanics With Nutrition Assistance” web page. “Mexico will help disseminate this information through its embassy and network of approximately 50 consular offices.”

The documents Judicial Watch released Thursday shed additional light on the partnership, initiated in 2004 under the Bush administration, which Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions called a “very disturbing policy” last summer. Session has attempted to end the program.

So much for a jury of your peers –>

SACRAMENTO, California (AP) — The California Assembly passed a bill on Thursday that would make the state the first in the nation to allow non-citizens who are in the country legally to serve on jury duty.

Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, D-Fremont, said his bill, AB1401, would help California widen the pool of prospective jurors and help integrate immigrants into the community.

KH, that Kalifornia bull$hit has my blood WAY up! It is literally SHREDDING the concept of citizenship.

the sooner this nation ruptures the better…at least I’ll still be young enough to help re-build

and if they DO pass that bull$hit bill…I will NEVER serve on another jury…EVER! I’ll simply return the Jury Summons with a note: “Please swing by Home Depot and pick up a juror to take my place

At Planned Infantcide today, Obama re-affirmed his view that ANY abortion at ANY time…even if the baby is born alive while the Abortionist is TRYING to murder it…is ok with him!
“Doctor” Gosnell’s trial for the willful murder of BABIES he accidentally allowed to be born alive is still going on…and Obama pick THIS time to address the Death Eaters at Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger’s dream lives on!

55 million dead isn’t enough for Barry…or for the Death Eaters.

    Btw not surprisingly ->

The website also shows Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and the company’s General Counsel and Executive Vice President Brad Smith are listed as “Major Contributors.” They’ve been this cheap labor train since it started.

14 – Then they’ll raid you in tactical gear for the resulting bench warrant.
Better to show up and point out to the judge and lawyers if you end up serving with any jury pool member who is not a legal citizen he you will have no option but to automatically rule not-guilty on the grounds the jury itself is unconstitutional. Just saying or even hinting that insures you will not be selected and dismissed from duty. 😉

It’s going to make for a hell of a lot suits\appeals that’s for sure though.

    Pigford evolved from black reparations,

The second, third, and fourth rounds amounted to buying the votes of Hispanics, Native Americans, and women.

Congress was bypassed by the executive branch and Holder. Money was never appropriated to pay this tribute. Actual funds came from a fund originally set up to pay jury awards.

Why is this not malfeasance, and impeachable?

Mullet the problem is even if an article was brought forward by the House it would be against some flunkey or flunies from the USDA and USDoJ. The thieves in the cabinet would never get touched. A sad fact.

bc3b – I feel you are right. As mullet has said, it was 12 to 20 million and many believe it was closer to 30 million then. The only good news is that the economic slump has caused some to go back.

Back in 1986 they estimated 1.5 to 3 million and it was closer to 10 million before all was said and done. I remember an article from 2006 that said there was over 500,000 illegal immigrants from China here.

40% of those who are here illegally are those who over stay visas. The other 60% represent those coming over the borders, not just Mexicans but whole bunch of others.

I am at the point I hope a nuke goes off in New York, Shitcago or some other blue hell hole. They want itm they can reap the results.

O/T the other day I was pondering the Roman Empire and when did it really end. My thoughts go back to when the Republic died. Like Rome, the American Republic is dead and has been replaced by the American Empire. In the future many will try to figure out when, my guess is that they will focus on the 17th amendment (thank you drdog) and how the power was transferred from the states to the federal government.

We have been on a slow ride to the end. As we descend, the ride will become bumpier and chaotic. It will be up to us as individuals to save ourselves our family and our friends. DC, the state and local governments wont be their to help us, maybe to help pick our pocket but not us.
