Sequester Is for the Little People; Not the Obamas

So far this year, the Obama family has vacationed in Hawaii. Barack has enjoyed a “boys golfing weekend” with Tiger Woods and Reggie Love. Mooch and the Little Moochers went skiing in Colorado in February and last week the Little Moochers enjoyed a spring break that took them from the Bahamas to Sun Valley, ID.

The good times continued for the first family as entertainers visit the White House this week and next. There is no money for White House tours and many of the White House staff will be furloughed, but there’s still money for King Obama and his Marie Antoinette to to have top name talent travel to the White House to entertain them. The Palace of Versailles had nothing on the Obama White House.

The tours for the public may be canceled, but the fun continues at the White House, where President Obama and First Lady Michelle are indulging in exclusive entertainment even as furloughs begin to hit the White House itself.

Tuesday evening, the Obamas were treated to a viewing of the movie “42,” which chronicles the life of Jackie Robinson, watching it in the White House theater with the film’s cast and crew in attendance. Earlier, in the day, the White House added an official gloss to the event by throwing in a “42 Film Workshop” for kids in the State Dining Room featuring Harrison Ford and Jackie Robinson’s widow, Rachel Robinson.

And next Tuesday, the Obamas will be seated in the East Room for a command performance “celebrating” Memphis soul music, an event will feature megastars Justin Timberlake and Queen Latifah.

Also performing will be Alabama Shakes, William Bell, Steve Cropper, Al Green, Ben Harper, Cyndi Lauper, Joshua Ledet, Sam Moore, Charlie Musselwhite, Mavis Staples, with Booker T. Jones as music director and band leader.

The president hasn’t let the sequester interfere with his entertainment on the links either, resuming his regular golf game last weekend with a round at the Joint Base Andrews course.

And the Obamas each already have had two vacations this year. Meanwhile, the Office of Management and Budget, a wing of the White House, will soon start furloughing employees.

Sequesters, it would seem, are for little people.

What the “f” does Justin Timberlake or Cyndi Lauper have to do with Memphis? Elvis Presley was unavailable for comment.

JM, JR and other CA BJGers. Are your bags packed and your car fueled up? — https://twitter.com/search?q=%23BREAKING&src=hash — North Korea has all its approvals in place to attack the US.

Damn I never knew war required so much damn red tape these days. But I finally understand that the stability of the US – USSR nuclear standoff. It was because of Mutually Assured Paperwork to launch an attack.

IMHO Mitt Romney really missed out on an opportunity by not targeting millenials, most of whom are either unemployed or underemployed.

But then, Mitt missed out on many opportunities.

How anyone can spend six years of his life and $50+ million of his own money to get the nomination and then screw up so badly is beyond me.

12, BC, true on all counts. But #6 just floors me. McD’s is an entry level position but they want `2 years experience`? Is there some place else where you get that as a 16yo??

Obama has agreed to take a 5% pay cut ($20k a year), but that’s chump change. Every time he travels cross-country to make a speech, it costs a million dollars. I am willing to bet the Little Moochers spring break cost at least $500k.

It did not take long for the traitor ex Republican Hagel to suggest that military pay be cut to come up with the money required for sequestering. He has been a liberal forevever.

I guess the fact that we are now at war with NKPR has not been heard at the Department of Defense.

The Korean War never ended. It was a ceasefire as long as talks were taking place. When the NKPR pulled out of the talks, we were at were as of last week.

“The S&P has gained 10 percent in three months. The Dow is up more than 11 percent. Yet the U.S. unemployment rate is close to 8 percent. America lost 8.9 million jobs in four years and has gained back only half of them.

The economic recovery exists only on paper because of massive cash injections by the Federal Reserve.

Only trillions of dollars’ worth of freshly printed money has prevented the United States from falling into an economic abyss.

But printing new money does not equate to creating new wealth. All the Fed has done is provided a cancer patient with copious amounts of morphine. It is a feel-no-pain regiment for the markets. But the cancer is still there.”

“If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals—if we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.”

Syrian rebels have acquired the AS50, a sniper rifle made almost exclusively for the British Special Forces and the Navy Seals. It seems Hillary’s Bengazi gun-running initiative was successful. Now the obamamuslimbrotherhoodhamasiran rebels can start killing from long range.

Given sufficient mounds of money my guess is any conventional weapon can be acquired. Worrying about a gun?? We might recall our own CIA was supplying stinger missles to bring down Russian hind gunships.

This is about the most depressing thing I’ve read in weeks. Seems Richard Burr is optimistic following his dinner with obama.

    http://www.journalnow.com/news/local/article_6fa355d2-9bf9-11e2-82ad-001a4bcf6878.html

I thought getting rid of NC’s other senator Hagen, a socialist obamabot, was the top priority. Now I am not so sure. She is a stupid do-nothing democrat who votes as she is told by the regime. Burr, on the other hand, is supposed to be a conservative, but really is just another Lucy Graham.

Which is more dangerous? What say you?

Rinos like Kirk, McCain, Burr and Miss Lucy are actually more dangerous as their actions today enable the left to continue their destruction of the country in the future.
