… I thought Obama said we’re getting out of Afganiscrapastan???

Afghan President Hamid Karzai said Thursday he was ready to let the U.S. have nine bases in the country after the 2014 combat troop pullout, but wants Washington’s “security and economic guarantees” first.

Speaking at a ceremony on Thursday at Kabul University, Karzai said Afghanistan is ready to sign a partnership agreement to that effect.

Karzai says: “When they (the U.S.) do this, we are ready to sign.”

Guess you can add that to the political compost heap along with closing Gitmo. The Obama administration IS the most transparent admin on record. It is transparently obvious they lie every time they open their mouth.

Don’t worry Biden will tasked with the negotiations and it’ll have the same outcome as his negotiations with Iraq.

Not that the WH will give a sh1t but:

(Washington, D.C.). Three families of Navy SEAL Team VI special forces servicemen, along with one family of an Army National Guardsman, will appear at a press conference on May 9, 2013, to disclose never before revealed information about how and why their sons along with 26 others died in a fatal helicopter crash in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, just a few months after the successful raid on the compound of Osama Bin Laden that resulted in the master terrorist’s death.

CBS – Reporting outside of the WH talking points makes us uncomfortable.

Maybe Zippy can get the same outfit (armed with flashlights) for security in Afghanistan. They worked so well in Benghazi!

    Benghazi: Beginning Of End

Well if Morris thinks it’s the beginning of the end then we know from his past record of predictions that there is like a 75% chance it’s more then likely going to be completely forgotten about. 😉

KH, re. the Navy Seals in your comment #4, I truly believe they were set up. How high up the ratting-out went we will never know…but SOMEONE ratted them out and set them up.

Chance of it being a coincidence? ZERO!

    DoD stonewalling their oversight committee.

Time for some more hearings. 🙂

WTF, JR? – The top 7 of the 10 most poluted cities in the U.S. are all located in Kalifornia. I thought you guys had special gas pump nozzles, special non-polution devices on everything from cars to lawn mowers.

Exactly what I was thinking. If Morris says Hitlery is toast, she will skate. If Karl Rove and Michael Barone agree, it’s a 100% certainty that she will skate.

We would LOVE to explain this to you, but you see there’s a rumor that Britney Spears threw up outside a nightclub last night (although it might have been Lindsay Lohan urinating in a trashcan outside a liquor store…we’re just not sure).

Anyway, our media here is compelled to follow the REALLY BIG stories. So icky things like the ACTUAL state of our State, Benghazi, etc just don’t deserve our attention!

Besides, the model society we are striving for out here is North Korea…and we are getting closer every day! Forward, Comrades!!!

Let’s the Koch Brothers don’t acquire the LA Times and disrupt Kalifornia media.

“John Sopko, the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction, used a speech at the New America Foundation on Wednesday to blast government “bureaucrats”’ who have told him to stop publicizing damning audits that detail case after case of waste, corruption and mismanagement of rebuilding efforts in Afghanistan. Some government officials have even complained that they aren’t allowed to pre-screen or edit his reports, he said.

“Since my appointment by the president last summer, I have been surprised to learn how many people both in and out of the government do not understand the role of an independent inspector general,” Sopko said.”

Haha Sopko, you didn’t think your appointment meant you were actually supposed to do anything did you?

My bet is on Lohan, but whether a trashcan was involved is unconfirmed.

    Lets not mention that…

“The well-resourced organization, which is linked to al-Qaida, is luring many anti-Assad fighters away, say brigade commanders”

I love the ‘linked’ part, it doesn’t do the direct connections justice, they are and have always been effectively a spin-off sister group of AQI, they have different boards of directors (previous AQI folks who wanted their own shop) but effectively they aren’t much different in relationship then say T-Mobile is to Deutsche Telekom.
