Gig’em Texas

Not the Sooners, Planned Parenthood.

Texas health investigators on Thursday served orders for hundreds of documents at Planned Parenthood offices across the state, including patient records and employee addresses.

The move came three days after the state announced plans to pull public funding from the organization, energizing the national debate over the nonprofit’s fetal tissue donation program.

“The breadth and depth of what was requested this morning was unprecedented,” Planned Parenthood representative Sarah Wheat told the Austin American-Statesman. “Today’s visits were clearly politically motivated. We’re all pretty surprised by how far the [state] is willing to go to try to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers.”

The subpoenas dictate that the files, dating back to 2010, must be delivered within 24 hours, Ken Lambrecht, president of Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, told the newspaper.

“Planned Parenthood complies with every state law and regulation,” he said at a Thursday press conference. “We believe this is a fishing expedition.”

OF COURSE its a fishing expedition. OF COURSE its political. The idiots on the Left do this almost daily but don’t anticipate that fishing works both ways. As my lawyer always asks clients — “Depositions are a bitch. Is there anything you don’t want public because a smart lawyer will find it.”

Tough PP. Don’t like it PP, exit the Texas market. You don’t HAVE to stay here.

I/ve never understood why Planned Parenthood should get government funding, but it has since Nixon was President

WASHINGTON (AP) — No IRS official would face criminal charges arising from the political controversy over the processing of applications for tax-exempt status, the Justice Department announced Friday.

In a letter to members of Congress, the department said that while investigators had found “mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia,” there was no evidence of a crime.
    Yeah I know we’re all ‘shocked’ 🙄

As for #1 – You knew was bad when W who’s been so quiet since leaving office semi-breaks his silence on the political front to make it known he explicitly doesn’t like Cruz. Talk about a sign of desperation. Don’t worry though the tv and radio ad onslaught against Trump will start soon enough, I think it’ll mostly backfire, but who knows. I don’t think he’s prepping to get out, but he’s definitely downsizing so he can stretch sinking donations into January.

Hey it’s combat in Iraq…wait it is combat, wait it’s not, but it is.

Told you it was pointless and would not survive a challenge, though Social media seems to have short circuited that need, but I bet they didn’t remove it just cause of PR, they would have lost a real challenge to it and had the double PR of that whole process.

drdog09 permalink — Its a Trump piece but the real story is Bush’s sorry state at this juncture.

So the race boils down to Trump, Carson and Cruz. But if the mood is really ‘no pols need apply’ then that eliminates Cruz. Last poll showed Carson with a slight lead in Ohio. If Trump was smart he would make a deal with Carson and seal the deal.

“The summer of Trump has lasted longer than conventional wisdom suggested it would,” a South Carolina Republican said. “It’s going to take a sustained, multi-pronged paid media effort to educate voters that Trump is not a conservative and has flip-flopped on practically every issue. Major donors are quickly getting to the place where they are ready to fund such an effort.” That’s odd, because many say the same (but inverse) about Hillary: she is not a progressive but is in fact a conservative – perhaps this is the first presidential election in which a Democrat pretends to be a Republican and vice versa.”

Again the Smart Money is missing it. They think ‘Conservative’ is the lever to the WH. This time that is secondary to ‘Nationalist’. It does the rank and file no good to hire a conservative if all he is going to do is sell the country down the river. Cruz is a conservative yet he is willing to flood the country with foreigners….

Why would Carson “deal”, right now, or Trump for that matter anyway?
Carson probably has better and higher paying things to do then be VP, but I’d never vote for Carson for P anyway so I honestly don’t really care, but if he wants VP ok…whatever, best hope Trump doesn’t get impeached or quits though.

Don’t think political, think revolving door. Trump puts him in charge of morphing or eliminating OCare. End of 4 years he offers up his services as the only person who understands the new landscape as a consultant. Say $5m a year or more to the highest bidder.

Redmond loses another 1,000 job, but you know we gotta have more h1-b’s please.

“Oct 22, 2015 – After cutting 18,000 jobs last year, with a further 7,800 layoffs this year related to restructuring of its phone division, Microsoft is now dropping another 1,000 staff from its global workforce.”
