Realize that an IQ of 100 is border line mentally impaired. Also note that the chart represents the average.
The question one has to ask is — is the profession ‘spent’ and so attracts the lazy or is some other factor in play that attracts low IQ personnel?

When I went to public school my impression was that none of my teachers were dummies and were quite dedicated to the profession. If you look at the chart, there is an implication one could surmise that women are dumb. However we have a national pathos right now that declares men predators so there is an over representation of females in the profession.

I would suspect that male patterns are not all that different. I would also imagine that Journalism would rank down with Social Work in terms of the IQs of people with those majors. There aren’t a lot of rocket scientists in “J School.”
Isn’t it interesting that people with the lowest IQs (teachers, journalists, etc.) have had the greatest impact in transforming the nation into what it has become? While Obama wasn’t a Social Work major, it his early days he was involved in social work as a community organizer.

Illinois has a state preemption law that prohibits local governments from passing anything more restrictive than state law. Chicago would be in violation except they were grandfathered in because they passed their law BEFORE the state did it’s preemption law. No other cities can do what chicago did after july 20 2013 when state preemption would prohibit any such new restrictions.
