I got to fly “Space Available” from Kansas City to San Bernadino on a C-130. It was a training mission, so they warned me they would landing and taking off several times along the way to “train”…including some VERY short takeoffs and landings. It was AWESOME.

It’s amazing how many vintage planes are still the backbone of the Air Force. When I was stationed at Wright-Patterson, the 17th Bomb Wing was there. The B-52s were in the H Series then (every letter represented a model change.

Last add on my one C-130 flight…
The first time they did a “short takeoff” the crew chief warned me (I was the only passenger, so I got roam around). He said: “You’re NOT going to believe this”
He was right. It seemed like the damn thing just jumped up off the ground at WALKING speed. He laughed as my jaw dropped. The “short landings” were a hoot too. 🙂 Good times.

Out running errands and some last minute gifts, and I was astounded at how many Merry Christmas greetings I received. And from some establishments normally associated with liberals. Got MC at Costco, got it at Trader Joe’s (a fairly liberal bastion here), got it at Walgreens. Two days ago I got it at Whole Foods…almost fell over. Dropped by a Tesla dealer a few days ago and got profuse Merry Christmas greetings from more than one employee. In fact, I don’t recall hearing Happy Holidays at all this shopping season.

Myself, I believe many of us Christians have humbled ourselves and sought God. Knowing that there is NO POLITICAL answer to a Spiritual Problem – Jesus is the answer. I believe that God in his mercy and grace has granted us a season. Please take advantage of it to get closer to him – for if God is for YOU, who can be against you.
I believe God acted in this political season. Look no further than the email scandal and all that it has exposed of the evilness of the Clinton’s and their Democrat supporters. The links to child abuse and child sexual exploitation. Pizza – pizza anybody?
