Do Illegals Contribute to the Economy?

Paul Ryan and other advocates of amnesty claim illegal aliens actually contribute to the local and national economy. Are they correct?

Here’s a study of what illegal aliens cost taxpaying citizens of every state (taking into account any takes they pay and deducting the costs they generate to state and local governments). A few examples of states near and dear to many BJGers:

  • Kalifornia: $2,375
  • Texas: $1,197
  • Illinois: $1,137
  • Georgia: $768
  • North Carolina: $596
  • Michigan: $260
  • Ohio: $198

The cost of harboring illegal immigrants in the United States is a staggering $113 billion a year — an average of $1,117 for every “native-headed” household in America — according to a study conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

State by State: The Cost of Illegal Immigration Infographics

Wondering how illegal immigration is affecting your pocket book? In 2013, taxpayers shouldered $100 billion in state spending on illegal aliens!

You may also access FAIR’s State Cost Studies and Immigration Facts for more information.

Below are state-by-state detailed infographics on how much illegals burden you and your state:

Alabama Kentucky North Dakota
Alaska Louisiana Ohio
Arizona Maine Oklahoma
Arkansas Maryland Oregon
California Massachusetts Pennsylvania
Colorado Michigan Rhode Island
Connecticut Minnesota South Carolina
Delaware Mississippi South Dakota
District of Columbia Missouri Tennessee
Florida Montana Texas
Georgia Nebraska Utah
Hawaii Nevada Vermont
Idaho New Hampshire Virginia
Illinois New Jersey Washington
Indiana New Mexico West Virginia
Iowa New York Wisconsin
Kansas North Carolina Wyoming

This does not take into account refugees, who immediately qualify for the same benefits as US citizens. Obviously, the more illegal aliens enter your state, the more the cost per taxpayer increases.

    So, when you add in federal costs JR, JM, brucefdb, TLS and the rest of the Kalifornians’ households pay over $3,000 a year for the care and feeding of illegal aliens – about what they would spend monthly on a car lease.

    “Do Illegals Contribute to the Economy?”

    Of course they do. By their presence they provide jobs for —

    * Parole officers.
    * Jailers
    * Policemen
    * DHS employees
    * Drug pushers.
    * Cartels
    * Teachers
    * Truant Officers
    * Judges
    * Lawyers
    * Legal Aides

    You know, all those essential layers of the US economy.

    Gen. Flynn has resigned.

    Deep-State has got the head on a stick they’ve been wanting for months.
    Press will run wild with this I’m sure.

    KH #6 –

    It’s not just the US, but the entire western world that’s screwing its citizens. As this post issustrates, illegal naliens cost the average US household over $1,100 a year. Ted Cruz wanted to increase H-1B visas by 500%. When I found that out he lost my support. The rich get richer, the non-working poor (including illegals) get freebies and middle class taxpaying Americans get screwed.

    Hopefully the rest of the west is catching on with Brexit, Marine LePen, Gilt Wilders and AfD.

    drdog’s list in comment #2 is spot on.

    the Progressive enclaves (SF Bay Area, LA, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, La Jolla and other coastal towns, etc) live next to BUT apart from the masses of illegal aliens they rely on to keep them in power

    there won’t be another fair election in this State unless and until a National Voter I.D. is instituted…and severe punishment established for violating its use.

    8 – Unlikely to happen, that Pence is in charge of said topic pretty much told me nothing will get done, if anything does it will be by friendly SoS’s and a DOJ that doesn’t try to block them at every opportunity.

    9 – Ok I thought I was missing some new thing going on that related too it, I’m sure you can find a ton of hilarious tweets from the past.

    And Obama filled the government’s most sensitive positions with hundreds of communists, marxists, and muslim brotherhood, and the Media was fine with that?

    Trump has to get the leakers out, and push back on this massive load of bullish!t. They are going to take him down.

    Trump best prepare the battlefield. He’s going to be on for a long time.

    Get the leakers out and neutralize the kenyon traitor just down the road.

    Mullet, the battle is already engaged…too late for him to prepare the battlefield.

    He needs to go Roman…have heads roll 2 or 3 levels deep at State, Defense and DOJ…immediately. Then lather, rinse, repeat.

    Yes. As cover while that is going on — 5% excise tax on any remittances to Mexico, then start building the wall. The MSM/Leftards will be besides themselves while the backroom @ DoJ/State/DoD/Commerce is being cleared out.

    Leftys said “never let a crisis go to waste”. Rightys say “We create crisises so we don’t have to wait then leverage them”

    KT Mcfarland just resigned from NSC as well.

    Love to hear the backstory on this one, my guess either she got caught leaking (not really her style imo), or she’s not happy how this Flynn sh1t has gone down from the WH or VP’s end.

    Anyway that’s 2 of the 3 larger names on the NSC in the same day, If Gorka leaves then you know shits wrong on the WH end.

    13 – They key is what you do about it. Fire people and poly everyone @ CIA, IDK if it takes months, find the person and then prosecute them, and while we’re at it prosecute Hilda.

    You’re right about the battlefield, JR.

    And the Kenyon seditionist has been doing as much ever since he realized the pantsuit had no chance. He laid these traps ( Russian sanctions, Australian refugees, the Iran deal, the alinsky trainees, deepening the deep state, etc, etc, etc, ) for Trump, and Trunp is falling into them.

    Rough start.

    This would obviously change, but told by administration official that KT McFarland is planning to stay at the NSC.

    So much fake news abound hard to tell these days.
