Big (Taxpayer) Bucks for Refugee Resettlement

2017 October 31
by bc3b

There was a time when “charity began at home.” If Catholics, Protestants, Jews or secular do-gooders wanted to perform charitable acts, they raised money to fund the effort. Those days are long gone.

Today they expect the government (US, Canadian, European, etc.) to pick up the tab.

When Francis the Marxist calls for the U.S. and European nations to accept more Muslim refugees, he has no intention of digging into into the Vatican’s coffers. He is expecting you and Henri Prevost in France and Anna Kowalski in Poland to pick up the bill. And, unlike the Salvation Army, members of Catholic charitable organizations do not live a life of poverty.

Ann Corcoran does an outstanding job of tracking the refugee picture around the world as well as who is  profiteering from it.

She writes:

Update: I realized tonight that if we cut off federal funding for refugee contractors we would have a significant down payment for The Wall!

I hadn’t checked the most recent data on how much of your money goes to the nine federal refugee resettlement contractors (aka VOLAGs) lately.  So here is the latest information I could find. I had to use several sources mostly because some contractors do not file a Form 990 (LOL! they claim they are churches and are thus exempt).

Unfortunately I couldn’t find all income information for all nine for the same year, so it is a little hard to make a direct comparison, but you get the idea.

These are the nine major federal resettlement contractors.  (Go here to see a data base with the hundreds of subcontractors working for them in a town near you.)

Remember the goal of all Marxists (including the Pope):

    a Two-Tier System:
    (1) the Elites (including Popes)…a small group of SUPREMELY AWESOME people who can help…
    (2) the VAST UNWASHED MASSES who can’t be trusted to make decisions for themselves

And a vital first step to ushering in this “Utopia” is to wipe out that pesky [shudder] Middle Class who DARE to think they can make their OWN decisions! Gotta bankrupt those folks and make them as dependent on the Elites as everybody else.

    That’s the plan!

    Going to Church in Chicago

When I heard Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were guest preachers at a nearby church,
I decided to go there and check them out in person.

As soon as I sat down, Reverend Sharpton came over to me. I don’t know why,
maybe it was because I was the only white person in the church?
He laid his hands on my shoulder and said: “By the will of Jesus the Lord
Almighty, and the will of God, you will walk today.”

I told him I was not paralyzed.

Then Jesse Jackson came by and said: “By the Grace of God, and his Son
Jesus, the Lord Almighty, you will walk today.”

Again, I said that there is nothing wrong with me. After the sermon I
stepped outside and lo and behold —

    My car was gone !

    Amen

Very true. The goal is elimination of the middle class along with nationalism with elites making all decisions. The thing Francis the Marxist and the other elitists have not taken into account is that the Muzzies have other plans.

The biggest story yesterday, the one that has the Dems in a dither, is Podesta running from his firm. What he know about Crooked Dems is….

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 31, 2017

….earth shattering. He and his brother could Drain The Swamp, which would be yet another campaign promise fulfilled. Fake News weak!

    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 31, 2017

No particular significance in of itself except for one thing — Trump’s batting average in his tweets becoming true is about .700.

    No surprise here.

” … the Alabama Senate race. Remember when Roy Moore couldn’t win was the meme du jour, now apparently not so much:
McConnell-tied SLF has a new poll showing Roy Moore ahead of Doug Jones, 56%-39%. Voters’ top issues: “moral values,” “changing Washington.””

The way ESPN operates would be like GM or Toyota totally ignoring its market research and trying to sell what the employees want rather than what consumers want. People want sports on ESPN, not politics, social justice or @$$holes debating one another.

ESPN has a second problem in that it overpaid so much for the NFL, NBA and MLB that it likely shot its budget for live coverage.

Apparently the Manhattan truck attack that left six dead was an Islamic terrorism:

Espn also overpaid for the college football bowl games. They have most of the bowls during the holidays.

    JimNC,

This was the salient observation — “… ESPN’s business is collapsing so rapidly that they are now trying to figure out which would be more destructive — losing billions on the NFL or losing billions in cable and satellite revenue because they don’t have the NFL.”

Revenue wise I don’t think it really matters whether they have the NFL of not. They are both losers. At the rate things are going though ESPN could very well be gone. At some point the channel masters are going to start asking for discounts off the subscription price.

17, 18 And, you know, back in the 1200s some Crusaders were mean so, like, it all balances out. Faults on all sides.

Interesting to see NY politicos use the word terrorism. But simultaneously declare it a Lone Wolf and “we can’t let them win”. So … is it “them” or “lone”?
