Conservatives Are Losers

Think of Brent Bozell III, Rich Lowry and the rest of the girly men at the National Review, Thomas Sowell, the “Little Bens” (Shapiro and Sasse) and even William F. Buckley Jr. They all talked the game but what have they ever won?

Suddenly, someone different comes on the scene. He doesn’t spew conservative dogma, but may likely be the most conservative president in the country’s history: appointing traditionalist judges, cutting taxes, working to de-fund Planned Parenthood, trying to secure the border. Rather than just talking a good game, Donald Trump has one goal – to win. And, conservative purists are upset because we have a leader that actually wants to destroy the left (which includes their cocktail party circuit buddies) as much the left wants to destroy the country.

For the conservative intellectual class, winning debates means everything. Losing the country is not that big a deal.

For the world to get to how it is today, with the nearly complete elimination of tradition in favor of a globohomo world where diddling little children is becoming normalized, conservatives have had to lose every meaningful cultural war in the history of man. When someone declares themselves a conservative, they’re in fact stating that they are a loser, someone who is meant to take the fall when the left comes attacking.

Conservatives have lost on every battlefront: free speech, the military, the universities, marriage, nuclear family, child education, the media, the government, Boy Scouts, business, law and justice, Christianity, patriarchy, immigration, the welfare state, and capitalism. The right to bear arms is the only battle they’re not losing in a rout, but I’m confident they will lose that too within a decade’s time. Conservative institutions are being infiltrated and subverted, or have disappeared off the face of the earth, and there is no sign of them ever coming back.

Why are conservatives such losers? Because they desire to merely hold the line while their enemy rushes at them full speed. They don’t want to conquer new lands, kill their enemy, or inflict real harm. They want to maintain the status quo while the left froths at the mouth to win, energized with momentum and passion. The left is so dissatisfied at the state of the world because of their deep-seated inner dysfunction that they put their entire being into trying to make it better. They don’t know how to enjoy their lives so they have to attack the lives of others.

Conservatives, on the other hand, have no momentum or passion. They just want to be left alone, which makes them easy pickings for a collective that is hellbent on achieving their nightmare utopia. In the end, conservatives are the Spartans in 300 who have trained their entire lives to lose the battle, even if they are pound-for-pound stronger than their enemy.

Conservatives have also shown to be comically susceptible to leftist ideas when it’s presented as “human rights.” Two decades ago, the vast majority of conservatives would have stood against gay marriage, but a few years of cheesy “love is love” commercials was all it took for them to change their mind. Their motto of “live and let live” is only reasonable to hold if their enemy believed the same. They give the crying baby its bottle and from that milk it gets fat and strong and decides to kill the entire family. Conservatives don’t understand that giving an inch to the left eventually results in absolute defeat. They have to psychotically refuse to give any ground, even if practical logic or fairness is staring them in the face, but we know they won’t do that.

Another problem conservatives face is technology, which is not agnostic but rather liberating. It allows man to rely less on traditions, family, social bonds, and religion, all things that the left hates. The more technology you have, the more you can be an atomized unit in a little urbanized box, reliant only on your service job and digital device to keep you alive and somewhat sane while using Uber and Lyft to travel in and out of your self-imposed quarantine zone. Because of technology, the conservatism of today is merely the liberalism of twenty years ago. I challenge you to find a single attractive “conservative” girl who hasn’t tried Tinder or engaged in abundant pre-marital sex. Look at the life of any self-professed conservative and odds are you’ll find a rather cosmopolitan existence that is far removed from nature and rural living.

The biggest reason why conservatives will continue to lose is that they’re still not ready to kill the left even though the left is ready to kill them. Liberals have been getting conservatives fired on a daily basis while suing their businesses out of existence while the conservative loser merely whines about it on Twitter. You may hate the left, but if you wouldn’t dare even punching them in the face because you fear losing your life of comfort, you will lose. If you’re not prepared to kill your enemy while your enemy is busy killing you, you will lose. It’s that simple. Some think that conservatives have to feel a sense of hopelessness to fight back, but by then there will be nothing left worth fighting for.

Nationalist Populists, on the other hand….

Sad and depressing, but very true. Not sure I can add much to that piece.

On the slight bit of good news front Kobach ‘s opponent conceded, apparently with grace and unity today, at least on the surface.

    excellent post, bc3b

yup, the “Elites” of both Parties just do not get it. We The People are waking up and fed up.

During Primaries and Elections the Democrats try to sound like Republicans…and Republicans try to sound like Conservatives. Then whoever gets in they go ahead and govern exactly the same.

And then along came Trump. As his bumper music says that he plays at each of his rallies, “you can’t always get what you want, but sometimes you just might get what you need!!

The sad thing is that the so-called “conservative intellectual” class is still attacking Trump. People like Jonah Goldberg and David French refuse to admit that while he doesn’t spout conservative dogma, Trump may be the most conservative president of all time. Sure, he may call Rosie O’Donnell a fat cow, but then she is a fat cow.

We’re winning and “intellectual conservatives” can’t stand it.

    JR #5 –

    You’re right.

The Democrats are moving so far left, they are alienated much of the former base, including working class Americans of all races.

The Republican leadership wants to appease Wall Street, not Main Street.

As I have said before, think how uncomfortable William F. Buckley, Jr. would have been at an American Legion picnic filled with Reagan Democrats in Warren, MI or Lorain, OH. He would be saying Reagan’s policies were great because they were following conservative dogma. The American Legion members would say his policies are great because they are good for the US. Trump, on the other hand, would fit right in, asking how their bowling team was doing or talking about the local economy..

The Brits have a saying for “conservative intellectuals”: too smart by half.

Interesting fact about Buckley – he never had a driver’s license. His chauffeur drove him everywhere.

Trump is working to establish a working class party.

There’s a HUGE difference between “Conservatism, Inc.” – people who make their living posing as conservatives – and Americans who actually want to do something about saving the country.

Colorado school district cancels Monday classes — https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-08-14/colorado-school-district-nix-monday-classes-effort-boost-teacher-morale — Attempt to save money.

Taxpayer — Hey we have a real money saver. We cancel Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday too. Oh and we fire your asses. We issue vouchers and parents can send their kids where they please. That should be a real morale booster as they sit in the unemployment line.

I don’t know how a school district can get away with school four days a week. In Michigan, if a district has too many “snow days” it has to tack extra days on at the end of the school year. That applies to all schools – public, charter, Catholic and other private schools.

This district is getting lots of teacher applications, but you can be sure that the applicants are low caliber people looking for an easy way out rather than people who are interested in helping students learn and grow.

If students are in school for 80% of the time, they will learn 80% of what students in other districts learn. There’s no way around that.

Right now in most states there is a glut of teachers. In Michigan, unless you want to teach in a district like Detroit or Flint, certified teaching graduates have to substitute teach for a couple of years to gain experience. And substitutes make $80 – $100 a day (McDonald wages). The goal is to get a long-term substitute position, where you are actually gain teaching experience rather than “baby-sitting.”

My daughter subbed for three semesters. She teaches 3rd grade in a district that’s ranked 13th in Michigan. Last year the district had more than 4,500 applications for about 70 openings. One of the things Bridget had going for her was she was a long-term sub in the district (teacher on maternity leave) the year she was hired.

Seeking a new career? Join San Francisco’s Poop Patrol. It probably pays better than substitute teaching:

It’s all about sinking to the lowest common denominator. Say what you want about Cleveland, Detroit or Flint. People in those cities don’t poop in the streets.

12 – I was reading.. months back… that 4 day school weeks were like the new hotness being tried in various places and it had it’s pros\cons, don’t know about MI instance. From what I recall though they usually extended each of the 4days an hour, one of the down sides though was child-care for parents on that missing day.

And that ladies and gentlemen is how much of the grifter parents view school as — a huge taxpayer day care center. Heck there are school systems here in my area that provide 3 meals a day to kids. At that point who IS the parent that you can’t sit down for an evening meal??

15- Actually that’s not what they meant (though I know what you mean), they meant parents that both (or single parents) who work typical 5 day week now had to pay for child care or make other arrangements for say ‘monday’ because there child would be home, and you can’t leave a kid alone these days without getting in trouble as a parent. It talked about how some parents were responding by pooling resources and stuff to adjust, having group houses for day with adult present, etc like carpool or something. Didn’t always work for all cases etc – what ever does.

17 -eh you beat me too it. lol

Nice distraction in case Manafort jury comes down hard today in addition giving them something other than Omerosa to talk about, I gotta imagine he’s got one or two more in the pipeline for rest of the week if needs distraction. That said glad it at least FINALLY happened. grr

    20 – Amen.

21 – On these 30-odd counts… possible hung jury, possible gets hit with couple counts and normal\reasonable sentence, possible guilty on all accounts. I don’t know. I have no faith in this jury to acquit on principal that this whole circus is fucked 8-ways to sunday.

I don’t think the jury will care\know what this is really really about, and they’re not informed i don’t think ‘in the record’ that these charges were passed on years ago. I think the judge playing it very straight helped enough that maybe there is some hope.

If he was charged on some of this stuff in 2014 when they looked at it I’d say 3-5, fined, back taxes, paroled in 2, and gates would be bunking next to him and probably get more time than manafort.

On the 3rd case against him, coming up in DC on the registering as foreign lobbyist with the anti-trump judge – probably completely and utterly fucked. Then again the gov case in this case was much weaker than I expected at the start.

BTW I’ve not heard anything about defenses closing arguments yet, though they should be done by now, better be some close when not putting on a defense (and I can understand why they didn’t bother).

    Univision steps on its crank.

When Donald John Trump formally entered the race in 2015, executives at Univision became little social justice warriors. …
The Associated Press reported, “Univision is dropping the Miss USA pageant and says it will sever ties with Donald Trump over his remarks about Mexican immigrants he made last week when launching his presidential bid.” …

But things began to sour for Univision. President Trump sued for a cool half-billion over the network reneging on the pageant deal. …
But all that biased coverage against President Trump boosted ratings, right?

    Wrong.

Ratings declined. The company cut staff. …
Variety reported in May, “Spanish-language media giant Univision Communications announced a drop in first quarter earnings and revenue as the company grapples with restructuring and severance costs.

“So stop bleating about not being racist to enemies who racially attack you. Stop believing that colluding monopolistic corporatism equals free enterprise. Stop believing that legal immigration won’t swamp you just the same. Stop applauding wildly wasteful military misadventures on behalf of Our Greatest Ally. And finally, stop thinking that a government instruction pamphlet is the basis of civil Western society. There’s only so many maladaptive mistakes a side can make before it is defeated with finality. No one is going to praise your virtues once that side is yours.

So I will appeal to each conservative using the same term of affection as the feminist philosophette did toward her aggrieved gimp: My Astounding and Beautiful Nimrod. Your charms are safe from me.”
