How Will the Left’s Tactics Affect Mid-Terms?

2018 September 25
by bc3b

The Democrats and the left (one in the same) have a game plan – do whatever it takes to win.

In the “me too” era, it has gotten even bolder with a favorite tactic being finding a left of center female to accuse a conservative of sexual impropriety with her. There are never any witnesses. Actually the Democrats started this tactic around 1990 with Clarence Thomas. They failed with Thomas but successful with Ray Moore.

Joe Biden, known for groping any living, breathing woman he is close enough to grope, says female accusers should always be believed. So does Crazy Mazie Hirono (D-HI). That’s a 180 degree turn from American jurist prudence – that people are innocent until proven guilty. How many leftists have said it’s Matt Kavanaugh’s responsibility to prove his innocence against the constantly changing story of an activist professor he may or may not have met 36 years ago?

The left is also ramping up its mob tactics. Last night Ted Cruz and his wife were chased from a Washington restaurant. The same thing has happened to Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Kirsten Nielson, Mitch McConnell and others. Antifi has brought violence when ever right of center groups attempt to hold a rally.

This morning radio host Mike Gallagher presented a theory that ordinary Americans are becoming disgusted with Democrats’ tactics and they will backfire in November. What are your thoughts?

Crazy Mazie and the other feminists claim they want equality (Title IX and all). Yet, they often demand special treatment: women should always be believed and I am sure they will be upset if the Committee interrogates Professor Ford in the same manner it would interrogate a man.

I think this is going to blow up on the left far bigger than they have ever imagined. I avoid arguing with liberals because it isn’t going to change their mind and it only depresses me that people can be that stupid. However, if anyone bring up the BK situation to me at this moment, they are going to get an earful and a double heaping of ridicule because the consequences of this charade will effect every male in this country – right, left, gay, straight, rich, poor, etc. This is not a genie that can be put back in the bottle. We are headed to the total segregation of men and women because men will live in total fear of even knowing a women, much less being in a room with one. Congratulations feminists, you are destroying your own cause.

    TLS,

I agree completely. My wife who casually follows the news is fired up over this. We have a son in college and he will be starting out in the workplace shortly and she fears for him over this made up crap.

The dims have over played their hand, the only they can win is if the repubs fold. Which is always a possibility with the rino’s.

    3,4,

The backlash is already building in the workplace. Men who are in a position to hire are admitting that they intend to NOT hire women because of the burden of proof an accusation causes. That is no small matter.

Opined on this before, but the midterms hinge on married women. Like TLS this population segment knows what the direct effects will be if the Pussy Hat Brigade gets their way. If they rise up at the ballot box the Dims are toast.

What are your thoughts? – Mine are that it may not be enough to matter, particularly is some of the primary turnout data is indicative of nov, getting people out for mid terms in-force is hard, and all the caving that’s helped put BK into this position (not to mention other caving and inaction unrelated too it) and dragged this out doesn’t give a reason\inspire confidence to vote for gop. IDK it might help R turnout in someways, as well as helping D turnout, but I don’t foresee it flipping many votes on either side. We’ll see if D’s keep stepping on their dicks though, cause lord knows that’s about the only strategy\game plan the R’s ever have to save themselves from themselves.

But I also wasn’t entirely sure there were enough left to matter in nov 2016 too…and it was a thin win, but a win none the less.

    {btw they think the potus isn’t helping, I think he’s one of the only few things actually keeping it from being worse just like last cycle, they’d be better if they’d actually backing (passing legislation) that fucking backed AF agenda – but here we are yet again}

Ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said on Tuesday afternoon that she has “no way of knowing” if Christine Ford will show up to Thursday’s hearing to testify against Brett Kavanaugh.

    On the unconfirmed side:

A poster at 4chan made an unconfirmed claim Tuesday morning that he and his girlfriend punked porn star attorney and Trump antagonist Michael Avenatti into going public with an outrageously false story accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his prep school classmate Mark Judge of plying women at school era parties with drugs and alcohol so they could be gang raped by a “train” of men.

“Avenatti abruptly locked his Twitter account Tuesday, claiming it was the result of attacks by bots and trolls.

The 4chan poster claims Avenatti locked his account after he and his girlfriend broke the burner phones they had used to communicate the hoax to Avenatti, leaving him unable to contact them after a flurry of phone calls over several days. ”

This is the month when Gallup issues its media trust survey. I wish it were a month or two later, but it still will be interesting to see the results.

    Fight On #4 –

Very true. The left wants every woman to be taken at her word (unless the accused is Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Keith Ellison, Cory Booker or any other Democrat).

As I said yesterday, look what the boys on the Duke Lacrosse Team went through: both as a team and personally.

As expected Ramirez refuses to go on the record under oath, and no longer wants to speak to anyone in the press.

He can take the Thursday spot when Ford doesn’t show up:

    http://dailycaller.com/2018/09/25/republicans-rosenstein-testify/

The House Freedom Caucus is calling on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to testify about allegations that he offered to spy on President Donald Trump or resign from office.

“Tonight the Freedom Caucus took an official position that Rod Rosenstein needs to come testify before the Judiciary committee within the week or he needs to resign,” reads a tweet from the conservative Republican group.

    My 2 cents.

Most congressional districts are set so that one party or the other is going to win it. There are a few swing districts, but very few. I expect the House to stay pretty much the same. With the outrage, they may gain a few seats.

The Senate was up hill to begin with for the Democrats with so many seats up in Red States. I expect the Republicans to pick up a few seats. Might be in the mid to upper 50’s – no super majority BUT enough to give some breathing room.

26, I agree that Repubs should pick up a few Senators. Also, Flake and Corker are “retiring”.
I hope the rest of the Undependables (Collins, Sasse, Murkowski, … ) are assigned to committees like Post Office Oversight where they won’t do any harm.

I worry that Kavanaugh’s release of his calendars from 1982 won’t allow the Dems to shoehorn Ford’s “accusations” into some free space on them…oh what am I saying, OF COURSE they will!

Hopefully he is shrewd enough not to release such info prematurely.
