The Left Created the Problem
… and now people like Crazy Mazie Horono and Slo Joe Biden “Groping Hands” are complaining about it. They think every woman who claims to have been sexually molested (no matter how preposterous) has a right to be heard, unless her name is Juanita Broddrick, Paula Jones. Kathleen Willey or about a dozen other women that have charged Bill Clinton with sexual molestation,
The sexual revolution was championed by the left. Hollywood has had its casting couch as long as Hollywood existed. But, via Hollywood, our education system, the media and the courts, the left has pushed its morality on the rest of America (and the western world) via the sexual revolution.
Nothing points it out like the situation comedies from the 1960s on the nostelgia TV channels. The Cleavers slept in twin beds. This may have been taking things a little too far as they shared a bed at least twice. Wally wasn’t attending drunken high school parties and trying to hit on teen girls. Beaver wasn’t identifying as a girl. Boys wore khakis and shirts with buttons and girls wore skirts to school. An unmarried couple living together was unthinkable.
When you look at today’s situation comedies, all that has changed. As early as the 1990s in the TV series Coach the two principal characters were living together.
The change in mores – pushed by the left – is reflected in so many ways. Today’s high school kids face challenges their 1960 counterparts never imagined. The black illegitimacy rate was 23% in 1970; today it is 73%. The white illegitimacy rate was incredibly low in 1970; today it is 29%. Blacks were actually making far greater progress in 1960 than they are being raised by single mothers today.
The left created today’s mores and now they are complaining about them.
Exit question: Wasn’t Crazy Mazie Horono far wiser being a “do nothing” senator that no one outside of Hawaii ever heard of rather than being viewed as another crazy old woman – an Oriental version of Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters? You have to give the Dems credit for diversity – crazy old women of all races and colors who keep the Botox industry profitable.
As long as you are industrial grade crazy, nothing else matters.
[1]
Good time for a new thread – still on topic.
Didn’t the guy on the right have a lot of hit records in the 1950s and early 1960s?
[2]
Apologize, but I figured Kav needed to be heard. Whether he is believed or not, is a different matter.

Dear God, please call her back to You, amen.

Lindsey Graham is why women keep silent about their sexual assault. Lindsey Graham is what’s wrong with men today. Toxic masculinity.
— therealkenidrawoods (@KenidraRWoods_) September 27, 2018
STEPHEN GREEN • SEPTEMBER 27@5:50 PM
Lindsey Graham represents toxic masculinity.
Lindsey. Graham.
Well, that’s a take, I suppose.
[6]
“Lindsey Graham is what’s wrong with men today.”
A lot of (D) men on that committee today. Just sayin~!
[7]
Anyone here ever accuse Miss Lindsey of being an alpha male? Not me!!!
Like I said earlier, he seems better without McCain’s influence.
[8]
Never Trumper => Late Trumper.
Today I suspect there are a bunch of Americans who, thanks unfortunately by the hearings, realize that the only thing standing between them and the crazies are people like Lindsay Graham. Think about that because it should scare the living fecal matter out of you. Lindsay Graham!
Its down to live with Star Chambers or hold your nose and vote straight ticket GOP. That damn simple.
I feel a post coming on…..
[9]
As mentioned in the previous thread, this will be a HUGE cash cow for Ford.
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/sep/27/gofundme-pages-christine-blasey-ford-exceed-goals/

Hopefully these hearings will demonstrate two things: 1. how unethical today’s Democrats have become and 2. how dangerous the “me too” movement is.

Nice to see a smattering of GOPe outrage. About time.
As a number of people have mentioned, Kav (by reputation) is more of a GOPe type not a Tea Party fire breather.
Dems maybe should have saved some ammo for the next fight … instead hopefully they radicalized Kav for a long time to come.
[14]
JimNorCal: hot chicks do absolutely nothing for me, especially hot cheerleaders and ice girls in skimpy outfits. Absolutely nothing.
[15]
bc3b – I remember Lucy when he was in the House. Back in those days, he was a real firebrand and APPEARED to be a real conservative. Once he went to the Senate, he went soft. He does have it in him.

Speaking of sexual harassment…
Erin Andrews is one hot piece of a$$
[19]
“As a number of people have mentioned, Kav (by reputation) is more of a GOPe type not a Tea Party fire breather.”
Considering his opening remarks this morning I suspect that has changed. He gets to SCOTUS he might join with Thomas for some judicial revenge. Especially any issue that would come up with Leahy name attached to it shall we say will be viewed ‘with prejudice’.
[20]
Dems, presumably, continue to behave badly.
Someone on Capitol Hill just doxxed Republican Sens. Mike Lee, Orrin Hatch, and Lindsey Graham.
“Somebody working from a House of Representatives office is editing the Wikipedia pages of Republican senators to post what looks like their home addresses.”
[21]
People can change. I believe in redemption. Sen. Graham did the right thing and thus has my respect and gratitude today. That may change, but for now my hat’s off to him.
[22]
#20 – The swamp is in panic mode. This isn’t just about RvW.

[24]
22,
Most definitely. Fact what the Dims want to do is prevent any SCOTUS picks till 2020. They believe that they can beat Trump or whomever then. I think it unlikely, their bench is thin and Harris did herself no favors this day. I also believe that any fence sitters saw today what the Democrats are all about — power. They did not help their cause for the midterms.
[25]
“It’s not all about Roe vs Wade”
I read a comment at the JOM blog some days ago. A lady claimed that RvW is used as an excuse to rally the Dem base but the real danger to the Left from Kav is something else. Kavanaugh has ruled to limit the powers of unelected bureaucratic agencies. He has argued that they glom onto too much power and there’s nothing in the Constitution that supports the power grab.
Thus, Kav could be a spark plug to roll back significant gov’t worker (unionized, Dem supporting) power.
We’ll see

Time to pray.
Donnelly, Manchin, Murkowski and Collins are all expected to vote the same way, per senators and aides
— Burgess Everett (@burgessev) September 28, 2018
Interesting: A source close to Senator Manchin tells me now, “Short of claims that definitively prove Dr. Ford’s allegations or a realization that Kavanaugh will gut the healthcare law, Manchin will side with the overwhelming number of people in WV who want Kavanaugh confirmed.”
— Elaina Plott (@elainaplott) September 28, 2018

[35]
Traveling by car all day…just got to the hotel.
Listened to the entire proceeding. Lyndsey Graham rocked it! (A sentence I never thought I would type)
I think Kavanaugh gets approved…and a lot of Americans saw the Dems for the sick bunch they are.
[36]
OH, and Ford’s “fear of flying”?
She was exposed as a total LIAR right off the bat
[37]
18 – Is that the new chick covering the WH? Yes. 🙂
31 – Supposedly a ‘Yes’ vote – (at least to vote BK out of committee.. who know when it comes to the floor)
36 – Yup. Sunk her right off the bat with my step mom (who was watching cause she “wanted to hear her out”), she said – “right off the bat we learn she or her lawyers were playing political delay games with the no-flying stuff, there is no other explanation – other then she’s an unstable nut, strike 1”.
It was a hilarious phone conversation tonight, didn’t even know she’d be paying much attention but apparently she’s been following everything, down to stuff wiped off the net, and knew most the BS associated with #2,#3 etc. She still wanted to hear her out though. She did say to me though she did think it’s very possible something happened to this lady in her life to fuck her up in the head so bad, but it doesn’t sound like whatever it was had anything to do with this incident or BK. I disagreed, I don’t believe the\a incident (in HS) happened at all, she gave me no reason or evidence to believe so.
BK’s performance was simply EPIC (we both agreed) – beyond even Thomas.
I wasn’t as ‘shocked’ by LG as most people. Because he had basically said the same thing the day before and was on fire at a microphone in the hallway between the main Ford\Kav break. So the content didn’t surprise me – that he put an end to the Mitchell lady bullshit did, and that’s what I was most grateful for. Because everyone else then that followed him picked up on the cue to drop the Mitchell chick and reclaim their time for themselves and follow him through the breach so to speak like big boys and stop leaving everything to BK.
I’m not fooled… but today he gets praise for good reason, but he didn’t save the day, BK saved the day, LG just put the needed exclamation\let-cut-the-bs point on it.
I was stunned the gope was so stupid to try to keep using Mitchell as the BK part started… I was screaming “Are you people this fucking stupid!!!??? at the screen” – but it worked out ok… namely thanks to BK himself, and of course Lucy setting the example to cut that shit show out. Unreal – but it happened.
Looks like he’s going to miss 4 cases, 2 on Monday and 2 on Tuesday, but should be able to be on the court Wed morning. IDK why Mitch doesn’t file minutes after the JC vote tomorrow …vs waiting till Saturday like is reported he will…cause that would put him on the court a day earlier (tues; floor vote monday) for 2 additional cases. Most importantly though don’t give the dems or the flakes of the world one more god damn minute more than you have to when you have the clear momentum.
What a day though. That BK opening is going to be remembered for a long long time. ‘Search and Destroy’ was probably the equivalent of ‘High Tech Lynching’, glad he found a good phrase – though there were 100 good lines.

gn #15 – I wonder if Graham’s career would have been far different had he not fallen under McCain’s influence.
For once the GOP showed some spine.
I don’t think Ford’s appearance helped her cause. She’s 53 and really looks it, yet has the hairstyle of a woman in her teens or twenties. Not at all becoming.

God, that was such a lost opportunity.
We coulda had Tom McClintock but we wound up with Arnold.
Repubs have never recovered 🙁

The two last families that should condemn harassment of women are the Kennedys and the Clintons.

Getting back to yesterday’s discussion. Mike Gallagher said the same thing as gn and me – that it appears Graham was really influenced by McCain and now that McCain croaked, there’s a change.

Watched from beginning to end. In my opinion
Biggest Loser: Diane Feinstein-no one can trust her from now on. All good feelings between her and Republicans gone.
Biggest Winner: All Americans
Smartest: Orrin Hatch-
Dumbest: Senator from Hawaii
Most Important: Lindsey Graham
Least Important: Patrick Leahy-Senile now.
Most Courteous: Klobachar
Least Courteous: Booker
Biggest Flake: Flake
Least Flakiest: Cornyn
Hurt Moving to higher position: Kamala Harris
Helped moving to higher position: Graham
Biggest crybaby: Booker
Happiest Person: Kennedy
Biggest liar: Blumenthal
Person I trust Most: Kavanaugh
Creepiest Person: Booker
Person I’d like to have a beer with: Kavanaugh or Graham
Person who needs to retire: Feinstein, Leahy and Grassley
[59]
MIC, you left out Ford.
Least believable: FORD
I already knew I didn’t trust her, but gave a smidgin of the benefit of the doubt. No more. Her “I’m afraid of flying” (hence I only fly around the world several times each year, that started it off ,wiped out any remaining benefit of the doubt.
She voluntarily, and drunkenly, went upstairs with some boy (or boys) 35 years…and then changed her mind. Fine, that’s her perogative. But then in “couples therapy” 6 years ago, she decided to blame her admittedly VERY promiscuous past on someone…and Kavanaugh was the convenient target.
[60]
Afraid to mention Ford. I don’t want to be called a sexist.
[61]
[62]
[63]
61,
I presume they are referring to Sen Booker. 🙂

Flake is the biggest MF’er ever. What a POS
[67]
Can Roberts delay the start of the court? I hope he can.
[68]
TAKE THE UNDER!!!!
BWAHAHAHAHHA
[69]
There once was this pole puffing peckerwood named flake,
Through this quisling’s heart we must drive a stake,
This gelded GOP eunuch with his diminutive pecker ,
Doesn’t give a crap if he is a party wrecker ,
Time to deep six this political snake.
[70]
Me thinks the GOPeeee didn’t have the votes.
Check out trumps reaction to the delay.
He knew.
[71]
Good synopsis MIC –
You had a great week: best BJG College football record and this masterpiece.
More importantly: How are the Lumberjacks shaping up?
The Firebirds have a player who was drafted in the first round by the Stars. He will be a Firebird again this year though as the Stars are letting him finish high school.
[72]
The thing I don’t understand is why they didn’t give Ford a makeover before the hearing.
She’s 53 and looks every day of it, yet she’s sporting the hairdo a Dallas Stars Ice Girl would wear. It adds to the emotionally unstable case the Republicans are working to build.
I guess a bull dyke lawyer has no idea what a woman is supposed to look like.
[73]
Feinstein may have actually ruined her shot at re-election. She’s running against a progressive Democrat, not a Republican.
As far as Harris and Booker, hopefully middle and lower class whites are over their “white guilt.”
[74]
Fight On #66 –
Wanna bet Kasich has been talking to Flake?
[75]
Oh, I just remembered, I was sexually assaulted by Jeff Flake in 5th grade. Somebody take a screen shot of this thread so that later you can corroborate that I told you about it. I’ll need it for fbi investigation I’ll be demanding.
In the meantime, I think I’ll call my local paper and ask if they can run an ad looking for all the other women this must surely have happened too. And I hope the line goes around the building so he can truly appreciate the gift he has bestowed upon this great nation today.
:Is there a screaming emoji?:
[76]
GWB was supposed to talk Flake into a yes vote. Another GWB flop.
[77]
73, “Feinstein may have actually ruined her shot at re-election.”
I think that’s right. I would probably have voted for her:
1) she’s old and will die soon
2) her Dem opponent is a whack job
Sure, CA is a Dem state but there are at least 1/3 of the voters who are non-Dem and she could have gotten a lot of us … given the alternative.
Now, there’s no way I’ll vote for her. I’ll write-in some other candidate like Tom McClintock.
1) she’s dead to me
2) she has a senior position, thus influence, so maybe allowing the junior Dem in will be a trade-off: more energy by the Jr but less influence and power than if DiFi was re-elected.
[78]
JimNorCal #77 –
So, we’re talking Kalifornia
[79]
Judiciary panel approves Kavanaugh, sending nomination to full Senate.
Flake trying to rally GOPe traitors to delay the floor vote for 1 week.
[80]
Fight On #76
Other than the two weeks after 9-11, what hasn’t GWB disappointed us on?
And, even then he was visiting mosques and calling Islam the “religion of peace.”
[81]
Agreed, after Harriet myers he should never be allowed near the supreme court.
[82]
More winning!!! Report: 75% of religious refugees are Christian:
http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/10/16/..
A far cry from the Obama years when over 95% were Muslim.
[83]
“The thing I don’t understand is why they didn’t give Ford a makeover before the hearing.” — BC
The hair is to hide the turkey neck she’s hiding under that chin.
[84]
TLS, 75,
Don’t forget to book the polygraph examiner too!
[85]
Actually hair is the last thing I am looking at when I am watching the Dallas Stars Ice Girls.
[86]
Guess my question is — What the hell is McConnell doing? Hopefully he’s squeezing some of the Dims that are reup. That and he ought to move to assign Flake to be the committee of parks and statutes.
[87]
Does anybody trust the current FBI to conduct a fair investigation? DOJ and FBI are totally corrupt.
[88]
BC,
Me too natch. But we’re, or were, talking Ford.
But since you mentioned it…..
[89]
Fight On,
Conduct what? Even the inquisitor at the hearing later said based on the data she would not even be able to get a subpoena.
Somebody just needs to crush Flake politically.
[90]
drdog09 #88 –
Ford’s face has wore lines than a road map of Cleveland (with the potholes included)
[91]
To no one’s surprise, it appears the GOPe is crumbling:
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/28/senate-gop-agrees-to-one-week-delay-on-kavanaugh-confirmation-to-allow-for-fbi-probe.html
[92]
90, ditto that.
[93]
91,
Fastest FBI inquiry in history:
[Wray] Suzy, get copies of the 302s and sworn affidavits from the three others Dr. Ford mentioned.
[Later…] Thanks. Prepares to write response.
To the Honorable Chairman McConnell
FBI Headquarters
yada, yada, street
yada, yada, yada
Please find attached six exhibits.
A) Three are the field notes gathered of the three individuals other than Dr. Ford.
B) Three are the sworn affidavits that under penalty of a felony all individuals signed.
Short of calling Dr. Peabody in for a consultation, this agency has no basis for reaching any conclusion as the veracity of Dr. Ford’s claims. We therefore conclude this inquiry and consider the case closed.
Yours in Service,
Christopher Wray
cc: cold case file
[94]
The Dims are playing a dangerous game now. Trump could quietly have the secret service investigate Dr. Ford and her handlers. Dig up all they can and bury them with it, whatever it is.
[95]
Don’t forget to book the polygraph examiner too!
Don’t my pro bono lawyers take care of that? And pay for it? Wow, those rich lawyers that work for free sure are great, aren’t they?!?
[96]
On a more serious note, I’m with JimNorCal, DiFi is done. I actually intended to leave that race blank, but now I intend to vote for the loon challenger. If I have to have a Dem, then it will be one with no seniority. And then I will vote against him next election. I may even register as a D just to continually cycle the D’s through office so that they have to constantly initiate the new members every cycle.
[97]
Extinction level event.
[98]
I’m voting for the loon…why not
?
[99]
So Trump gives in and asks for the fbi investigation and limits the scope and time to one week. The left immediately, in unison, start with the narrative that the investigation should not be done quickly or hastily because of time constraints. Who’s surprised?
Yeah, me neither.
[100]
Now Feinstein has done it. Kalifornia’s Republicans – all 12 of them – are voting for the loon.
[101]
To his credit, Graham put forth another brilliant performance today.
[102]
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2018/09/28/mission-accomplished-senator-jeff-flake-supports-the-democrat-dc-scheme-kavanaugh-fbi-investigation-to-be-manipulated-by-michael-bromwich/
[103]
I’m not voting for the loon. He won’t need my vote. He already has DiFi beat in terms of Dem voters.
I’ll do a write-in for a decent American.
I’ll vote for Tom McClintock, House of Representatives, 4th district, various counties, office in Roseville CA
[104]
And then there’s this:
https://www.dangerous.com/49836/records-show-dr-ford-is-not-a-licensed-psychologist-may-have-committed-perjury/
[105]
Jeff Flake…the only more apt last name for him would be ‘Dickwad’, but I guess that was taken.
[106]
It is and was well known that Flake was evil. He’s not running for reelection so there’s little pressure that can be exerted in his case. The problem(s) are Collins, Murkowsky and maybe a couple others.
If they won’t support a qualified nominee for political reasons then they should be assigned to meaningless committees, cut off from Party funds and active searches should be made for primary opponents. You know, like the way Tea Party supporters were treated by the GOP.
[107]
106 – Exactly what I said elsewhere earlier today –
Turtle should call their bluff, you want to vote no on Tuesday, go right ahead, but effective immediately your off ALL committees, enjoy the private sector and wrath of everyone going full retard upon you including fellow senators and potus – it’s your call. Enough with allowing these fucks to take hostages…. you want to vote no so bad then vote no, want to switch parties go ahead. That’s easier to manage election season wise (“elect more real republicans”) then this charade, more motivating too than constant caving.
But that will not happen, because they want to lose.
