Democratic Presidential Caravan Keeps Moving Left

Long ago the Democrats abandoned middle class Americans and white Americans. Now it appears they are declaring open warfare on them.

Last week Reverend (a term I use loosely) Al Sharpton held court at his National Action Network confab. Virtually  all 15+ Democrats attended and they told Reverend Al exactly what he wanted to hear – America is racissst, sentencing is unfair and they supported reparations even though there haven’t been slaves in the US for 7-8 generations.

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg apologized for once saying “All lives matter.” OAC  not only approved of reparations, but also spoke in her  finest Hillary Clinton ghetto accent.

A slew of democratic candidates hoping to challenge President Donald Trump for the White House spelled out their views on racial justice Friday in progressive campaign pitches to crowds at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network convention.

Nearly all of the 15-plus Democrats who have launched campaigns in the 2020 election showed up to the civil rights organization’s annual conference this week in a Sheraton hotel ballroom in Manhattan’s Times Square.

Eight of those candidates gave speeches on Friday – including Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, who had just announced his campaign a day earlier – touching on a range of issues including taxes, child care and climate change.

But the predominant themes of their remarks mirrored the NAN’s own stated priorities, particularly reforming the criminal justice system with the past and current impacts of racism in America at top of mind.

And most of the 2020 contenders, often prompted by Sharpton himself, also affirmed their support for a bill introduced in Congress that would create a commission to study reparations for African-Americans.

From the

Contenders who answered Sharpton’s question in the affirmative included former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, New York Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Elizabeth Warren, California Sen. Kamala Harris, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg. Others also expressed their support of the concept either during their speeches at the event or previously.

Imagine the media outrage had the 2016 GOP candidates attended an American Family Association confab and slavishly (pun intended) followed the dictates of its leadership.

Exit question: If  Princess Fauxahontas believes she can benefit personally from reparations, do you think she will claim to be a descendant of Aunt Jemima?

Obama expresses concern that the Dems will nominate someone so far left that he/she will be unelectable:

Perhaps Trump should steal a line from the Dems – the party has moved so far left that Barack Obama couldn’t get the Democratic nomination in 2020.

the political spectrum has FASCISM on both ends. The Democrat/media/Progressive cabal is already at the “Fascism” end of the scale. They just don’t have the power to enforce it…yet.

CW2 happens when the Left gains the power to ATTEMPT to enforce their Fascist policies. That is what 2020 is all about.

In the One Party blue states they are flexing their muscles.
The Dems in CA are laser focused on Trans-gender rights and taking away guns.
New York and the new WI Gov is raising already high taxes to the roof.
Several states are extending abortion to legalized killing of live-birth children.
    Just a start …

At least for me its not the content which is good but where it was published. American Thinker has not broached the subject matter too often, by choice I would suspect. The fact that it has been presented there is a fair indication that more and more people are recognizing open conflict is a real possibility.

In 2020 the GOP really needs to focus on the Dems’ fanatical leftism – not just trump, but house, senate and local races too. Question: Do they have the balls/tits to do it?

    /dev/null it is.

What ticks me off is that the GOP have plenty of time to have done this right but they sat on their hands for most of it. Then they kick in gear late in the 4Q to little more than just some heated discussion. About the only thing worthwhile was seeing Graham getting Woke during the confirmation hearings. And no I don’t consider that a victory or a worthwhile consolation prize.

Oh this is rich. Many a business has been hit by the IRS for structuring transactions for less than $10k. Supposedly one is avoiding reporting requirements. Well the amount might be different but the action is the same:

No checks of $100 million or more
accepted. The IRS can’t accept a single
check (including a cashier’s check) for
    amounts of $100,000,000 ($100 million)
or more. If you are sending $100 million
or more by check, you’ll need to spread
the payment over 2 or more checks with
each check made out for an amount less
than $100 million. This limit doesn’t ap-
ply to other methods of payment (such
    as electronic payments). Please consider
a method of payment other than check if
the amount of the payment is over $100

    — page 65 of the 2018 1040 instructions

One law for them, another for thee. Bastards.
