Have the Dems Declared War on Women?

2019 April 11
by bc3b

Love it or hate it, Title IX had a purpose – giving girls/women greater opportunities to compete athletically.

Whether its high school, college or the professional ranks, girls’/women’s sports don’t have the appeal (e.g. attendance/following) that boys’/men’s sports have. Boys/men are generally bigger, stronger and faster than women. Take a few minutes to watch women’s college basketball next season. The game is much slower-moving and more sluggish … very similar to a well-played boys’ high school game.

Now 234 of 235 Democrats in the House, joined by two pro-GLBTQ RINOs have proposed a bill that would force public schools to allow boys who claim to identify as girls to participate on girls’ athletic teams and use girls’ locker rooms.

Confession: my daughter was an athlete in high school (volleyball and cheerleading). Were it not for Title IX her high school may not have had a volleyball team. Since height is important in volleyball (especially on the front line), most boys who tried out for the high school volleyball team would have made it and at 5’5″ Bridget would have either been cut or rode the bench all season.

In sports with objective measures (mostly track) men hold all the world records. For example, 100 meters: men’s world record: 9.58 – women’s: 10.49; Mile: men’s world record: 3:43.13 – women’s: 4:12.56. It’s doubtful the fastest female Olympians could even qualify for the men’s team.

If the bill becomes law, the 15 best male basketball players at Central High will be the boys’ varsity and the second 15 best male players will be the girls’ varsity.

How long before this is expanded to include public colleges and women’s coaches start recruiting men and males receive scholarships to play on the women’s teams?

Yet for the most part, women’s groups remain strangely silent on this issue just as they have on Islamic treatment of women including honor killings and female genital mutilation. They won’t leave the Progressive Plantation.

What’s more insane: pretending a human with a penis is a female or pretending that girls can compete athletically against boys?

Every House Democrat but one has co-sponsored a bill requiring schools to allow male athletes who identify as transgender girls to compete on female sports teams.

Democrats’ Equality Act would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to make “sexual orientation and gender identity” protected characteristics under federal anti-discrimination law. Among other things, the bill would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls.

Sarah Warbelow, director of the left-wing Human Rights Campaign, praised the bill’s impact on high school sports in written testimony submitted to a House subcommittee on Tuesday.

“Opponents of equality in athletics for transgender athletes have argued that girls who are transgender have unfair physiological advantages over cisgender girls and as a result, will dominate women’s competitive sports,” Warbelow wrote, calling it not “rooted in fact” that biologically male athletes will outperform their female counterparts.

Apparently world track records are not “rooted in fact.”

House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, a Democrat from New York, made a similar argument during an April 2 hearing his committee held on the legislation.

“Many states have sexual orientation and gender identity nondiscrimination laws, and all of them still have women’s sports. Arguments about transgender athletes participating in sports in accordance with their gender identity having competitive advantages have not been borne out,” Nadler said in his opening statement.

In Connecticut, one of the states to which Nadler was referring, two male runners have dominated girls high school track. A female competitor called the male runners’ advantage “demoralizing.”

Julia Beck, the head of a self-described radical feminist organization, testified against the bill.

The Democrats’ bill would lead to a male invasion of female spaces, including on the athletic field, Beck said in her April 2 testimony. “Men will dominate female sports,” she warned.

Of the 235 Democrats in the House, 234 have co-sponsored the legislation. (That’s not counting Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico’s non-voting representatives, who also signed on as co-sponsors.)

Reps. John Katko of New York and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania are the only House Republicans to co-sponsor the bill.

Illinois Rep. Dan Lipinski, the only pro-life Democrat left in the House, is also the only one in his party not co-sponsoring the Equality Act.

Exit question: In next year’s New Hampshire primary debate, which of the Democratic candidates will George Stephanopoulos ask about the Democratic Party’s war on women?

The “four-minute barrier” has since been broken by over 1,400 male athletes, and is now the standard of all male professional middle distance runners. In the 64 years since, the mile record has been lowered by almost 17 seconds, and currently stands at 3:43.13.

No female runner has ever come within 12 seconds of running a four minute mile.

Yet Nadler, who reminds people of a crooked used car dealer, and some dipsh!t woman claim boys posing as girls hold no advantage.

    Which is it?

    1) Dem politicians have gone crazy. Many voters continue to vote Dem out of habit but as they notice the policy positions, they resolve never to vote for Dems ever again. Soon Dems will be a minor party for a generation or two.

    2) Dem voters have gone crazy, the Dem officeholders are trying to keep up with them. About half of our citizenry are totally out to lunch and certifiable.

    3) Some other explanation

Spartacus has been successful because his parents – both executives with Xerox – raised him in a traditional culture.

As long as the ghetto culture (72% illegitimacy rate, high drop out rates and black-on-black crime) exists, nothing will change.

Blacks, like Spartacus, who were raised in a traditional family unit environment are realizing the American dream. Those raised in a ghetto culture are not. Why is that so hard to understand?

The only thing reparations will change for ghetto dwellers is they will be able to enjoy 70-inch TVs rather than 55-inch TVs.

My FDNY son’s death on 9/11 was more than just ‘something’

My son died doing his job, helping others in distress. The American public said NEVER FORGET 9/11!

Now, we have people who were working down there getting sick and dying. It hasn’t ended.

I think Omar owes an apology to America. She owes an apology to the families. Maybe she should talk to some of them — maybe they could open her eyes.

There’s still 1,000 bodies that have never been recovered. It’s very sad that she could make such light of it.

She came here from Somalia. She was educated here. We took care of her. And now she’s saying 911 was nothing?
