What Do Dems Offer Working Class Americans?

2019 May 2

I spent last weekend with my sister-in-law and her husband in rural Indiana (about 30 miles south of South Bend). He is a construction union representative and a Democrat so to remain friends we don’t discuss politics. But he did say the construction industry is booming; the only problem is that union contractors are being underbid by firms using illegal alien labor.

But, that brief conversation started me thinking: what do today’s Democrats have to offer working class Americans?

The economy is booming. Most months, like April, the number of jobs created far exceed expectations. Wages are rising.  Taxes have been cut. Because of the strong job market, adults are moving from Mc-jobs to good paying jobs so they can better support their families. The trade deficit is declining. Employment is at an all-time high and overall unemployment is at historic lows. Unemployment for blacks and Hispanics is at record lows. Even manufacturing is coming back.

Compare that progress to the Democrats’ signature issues:

  • The environment
  • Abortion, infanticide and support for Planned Parenthood
  • Open borders
  • Amnesty
  • Sanctuary cities
  • Obstructing deportation of illegal aliens
  • Gun control
  • Reduction in oil drilling so we can be at the mercy of the Arabs
  • Voting rights for convicts
  • Black lives matter
  • Reparations
  • Men using women’s restrooms/boys playing on girls teams
  • Leftist judges
  • More welfare

Is there a single issue the Democratic presidential hopefuls are promoting that benefits working class Americans?

President Trump must not  only campaign on what he and his team have accomplished but also to expose the Democrats for what they have become – a far-left wing party centered around identity politics. Unfortunately, there are still delusional people who still believe the Democrats are the party of the common man.

Donald Trump may be a billionaire, but he has done more to support working class Americans and improve their lives than any president in recent history, including Reagan.

Converting these people can be the key to the President’s re-election. Perhaps he should play off a 2016 campaign theme: What do you have to lose? A lot if a Democrat becomes president.

Probably Repubs had a lot to offer before, too.
But media lied to protect Dems.
And maybe things weren’t so dire. When you have the dang President subsidizing Iran terrorism with pallets of cash things have gotten bad. Heck, if you have men in the ladies restroom…

But don’t forget that PDJT fights, unlike McCain or Romney.
And he uses Twitter to bypass the MSM. Huge factors

Following months of angry claims by journalists and Democratic operatives that the Obama administration never spied on Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, The New York Times admitted Thursday that multiple overseas intelligence assets were deployed against associates of the Republican nominee. It is not the first time the Times has revealed widespread spying operations against the campaign.

Jim, the NYTimes is just trying to get enough ahead of the coming revelations to make them seem like “old news”

the April jobs report is out…and it is AWESOME.

Naturally Bloomberg, et al, are writing this up as negatively as possible. But that’s the fake news for ya!

To show you how corrupt the media is, even though Walter Duranty’s reporting from the Soviet Union in the 1920s has been demonstrated to be absolute lies, the Pulitzer Committee has refused to rescind the Pulitzer and the NY Times still “proudly” displays it along with its other Pulitzer awards.

So, fake news is nothing new.

hell, at the last “Hack Journalist Convention” (the “White House Correspondents Dinner”) they gave each other AWARDS for their fake news regarding RUSSIA-GATE!!!

and that was AFTER the Mueller Report showed all their reporting to be FAKE!!!

The stuff I’m reading makes it sound like AG Barr and PDJT pulled a swift move.
Mueller and his staff created some summaries which emphasized all things related to Obstruction. It was perhaps to be sort of a road map to impeachment for the Dems.
The plan was to have all the Dems and media talking about it non-stop for a week or two until the Mueller Report got into hearings in order to build momentum and “sell” the plan.
Instead, Barr sent out his own short summary right away and held back the Mueller summaries. Barr’s summary just said that Mueller did NOT find collusion and Mueller did NOT find obstruction. Which was true but was not the intended message LOL. Now, the Dems and media are spinning their wheels but not getting traction because the People have moved on. To issues like: who launched this whole thing anyway and what evidence IF ANY did they have to launch it?

Can’t wait to read the IG report. If NYT is trying to ‘old news’ the release this early on it must have some really juicy recommendations.

drdog, the FBI & CIA “leaking” this SPYING to the NYTimes ahead of the report, is kinda like Al Capone providing Elliot Ness with a list of crimes he admits to…hoping Elliot will stop looking for MORE crimes!

p.s. Note: although I used the term “SPYING” above, that is absolutely NOT what happened!! Nope. It was simply “surveillance personnel” secretly watching, listening and recording everything a group of people did, said or wrote, without their knowledge or consent.

p.p.s. Further note: although at least one female member of the “surveillance personnel” team offered certain “favors” in exchange for information, and several other members “planted” information, which other members then “searched” for, this is NOT a case of “Entrapment”…for God’s sakes.

p.p.p.s *sigh* and just to clarify, although certain people who were NOT (for God sakes) “spied” on and/or NOT attempted to be “entrapped” (again, for God sakes) were pressured to plead guilty to “crimes” they didn’t commit to avoid them and/or their family members being financially/professionally ruined…this does NOT mean there was “Prosecutorial Misconduct” (one more time, for God sakes)

I hope all that is CLEAR!

Let us say that they claim they were not operating within their defined job specifications. Well first there goes sovereign immunity defense. Having so declared that status by either act or utterance it opens them up for charges. As a civil case it then falls under Obstruction of Government Operations.

most, if not all, of the “candidates” are running for VICE-president.

still, it is kind of amusing. It is also helpful to Trump, since all clown-car occupants have to out-crazy the other occupants…and that ain’t easy.

Oh yes. That is the shield PoPo use when they blow up some 2yo with a concussion grenade in a crib. They haul out the blue shield and call it an accident in the line of duty aka sovereign immunity. Same idea here, different level.

Was there a UK election today?
    From AP
“Britain’s governing Conservative Party said Saturday that it is ready to compromise to secure a Brexit deal after suffering its worst result in local elections for more than 20 years.

In contests for local authorities across England, the party lost about 1,300 seats, a quarter of its total, as voters punished the government for the U.K’s Brexit impasse. The opposition Labour Party also suffered losses as voters switched to smaller parties and independent candidates.”
