Can Joe Biden Make America Moral Again???

One  of Joe Biden’s major problems in seeking the presidency – the wrong son died.

From every indication, Joe Biden’s late son, Beau, was a decent and honorable man. A veteran with a relatively unblemished character. His youngest son, Hunter, is another story.

Hunter, an absolute POS, is anything but decent and honorable. He was discharged from the Navy for failing a drug test. Shortly after Beau died, Hunter started having an affair with Beau’s widow, while still married. The couple (Hunter and Beau’s widow) just announced that they have “amicably split.”

I know what you’re thinking: you can’t blame someone for their offspring’s failings. But, there’s more ….

Joe Biden likely at least twice used his influence as Vice President of the United States to help engineer deals with foreign countries to benefit Hunter Biden and companies for which he was associated:

First with China:

A private equity firm managed by the son of former Vice President Joe Biden struck a deal with China’s state-owned bank in 2013 at the same time that Biden was in the country to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Hunter Biden, who arrived in China aboard Air Force Two alongside the vice president and the rest of the U.S. delegation, was at the time in control of Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC., a private equity firm that would go on to strike a deal with the state-owned Bank of China to create a $1 billion joint investment fund.
In excerpts from his upcoming book, “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends,” Breitbart News senior editor-at-large Peter Schweizer writes that the China deal was part of a trend of high-stakes deals between the sons’ investment firm — under the Rosemont entities umbrella — and foreign governments that were also in the middle of striking deals with the Obama administration.
Hunter Biden controlled the Rosemont entities, which describes itself as “a $2.4 billion private equity firm.”
In 2011, Hunter Biden met with top Chinese government fund leaders alongside managing partner Devon Archer and James Bulger, the nephew of notorious mobster Whitey Bulger, who controls a Massachusetts-based consultancy firm. The meeting took place just hours before the vice president would meet with Hu Jintao, then China’s president, in Washington as part of a nuclear security summit.
A second meeting that year between Hunter Biden and other top Chinese officials would occur in Taiwan, just two weeks after the vice president opened up strategic talks with China in Washington.
In 2013, the younger Biden would be part of an official U.S. delegation to the country. Ten days later, Rosemont entities inked a $1 billion deal with the bank of China. The deal was eventually increased to $1.5 billion.
Deals made by the firm — co-owned by the government of China and the two sons of top American officials — would go on to have serious national security implications for the United States. One such deal was with the automotive subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a major Chinese military contractor accused of frequently stealing U.S. military technology.

Then on to the Ukraine:

Two years after leaving office, Joe Biden couldn’t resist the temptation last year to brag to an audience of foreign policy specialists about the time as vice president that he strong-armed Ukraine into firing its top prosecutor.

In his own words, with video cameras rolling, Biden described how he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden recalled telling Poroshenko.

“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations event, insisting that President Obama was in on the threat.

Interviews with a half-dozen senior Ukrainian officials confirm Biden’s account, though they claim the pressure was applied over several months in late 2015 and early 2016, not just six hours of one dramatic day. Whatever the case, Poroshenko and Ukraine’s parliament obliged by ending Shokin’s tenure as prosecutor. Shokin was facing steep criticism in Ukraine, and among some U.S. officials, for not bringing enough corruption prosecutions when he was fired.

But Ukrainian officials tell me there was one crucial piece of information that Biden must have known but didn’t mention to his audience: The prosecutor he got fired was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings that employed Biden’s younger son, Hunter, as a board member.

U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.

The general prosecutor’s official file for the Burisma probe — shared with me by senior Ukrainian officials — shows prosecutors identified Hunter Biden, business partner Devon Archer and their firm, Rosemont Seneca, as potential recipients of money.

Using your position as Vice President to enrich your family is hardly “moral.”

There’s a reason why Joe Biden never got more than 1% of the vote in his prior presidential runs – he’s a frickin’ moron. You can bet that no matter how hard CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post and the rest of the media try to cover this up, Donald Trump won’t let them.

Joe, you aren’t dealing with a weakling like Paul Ryan this time.

Hat tip:

Joe and another anchor (as if he needed one).

Slow Joe is already at it. Wednesday in Iowa, he told a crowd:

China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man. They can’t even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the east, I mean in the west, They can’t figure out how they are going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system. I mean, you know, they’re not bad folks, folks. But guess what, they’re not competition for us.

EVERY day…EVERY day…the Left/Democrat/media cabal finds one or more words, books, symbols, people or edifices that MUST be removed in the name of
    [ —insert current OUTRAGE!— ].

    EVERY day.

Whole aspects of literature, history and even science are being excised from colleges and the “approved” public discourse because MEN…especially WHITE men…were involved! [gasp!] Of course, there are other categories that MUST be hidden or destroyed as well (Christianity, Conservative ideas, etc…)

Any and everything deemed “Politically Incorrect” MUST be taken down in the name of
    [—insert SOCIAL JUSTICE cause!— ]

As I recall, in the book 1984, Winston Smith’s department was working on a dictionary that greatly reduced the number of words in the language. The goal was to get to the point where you would not have words to express anti-regime ideas.
Im sure that’s the motivation for the process JR describes in 8.

Does anyone watch CNN any more?

CNN traded its traditional audience of news freaks for an audience of tin-foil hatted conspiracy freaks and now that the Mueller Report is in, they have no reason to watch CNN.

CNN long ceased being a news network and has evolved into simply political opinions. And, if real news (as opposed to fake news, which has become CNN’s stock and trade) doesn’t fit its leftist agenda, it’s censored.

No one is watching CNN these days (and its a presidential election year) and management doesn’t seem to care.

I am officially announcing my candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination. I am still working on my platform, but a few key planks include:
    * A law requiring all NFL teams to have all-female cheerleading squads (except for males who serve as the base of the pyramid like the Colts)
    * All NHL teams located in the US will be required to have ice girls
    * We will be introducing “ball girls” in MLB. Details are still being ironed out.

We’ll cover the small stuff later, but I wanted to get the key issues on the table.

NY TIMES – The conversation at a London bar in September 2016 took a strange turn when the woman sitting across from George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser, asked a direct question: Was the Trump campaign working with Russia?

The woman had set up the meeting to discuss foreign policy issues. But she was actually a government investigator posing as a research assistant, according to people familiar with the operation. The F.B.I. sent her to London as part of the counterintelligence inquiry opened that summer to better understand the Trump campaign’s links to Russia.

The American government’s affiliation with the woman, who said her name was Azra Turk, is one previously unreported detail of an operation that has become a political flash point in the face of accusations by President Trump and his allies that American law enforcement and intelligence officials spied on his campaign to undermine his electoral chances. Last year, he called it “Spygate.” The decision to use Ms. Turk in the operation aimed at a presidential campaign official shows the level of alarm inside the F.B.I. during a frantic period when the bureau was trying to determine the scope of Russia’s attempts to disrupt the 2016 election, but could also give ammunition to Mr. Trump and his allies for their spying claims.

A direct tie to the Obama WH

Citizen’s duty: be a rooftop Korean
We should all be ready to do our duty as American citizens and, when duty calls, each of us should embrace our inner Rooftop Korean.

The year was 1992, 27 years ago right about now, and the city was Los Angeles. Several police officers who got into a videotaped brawl with a petty criminal named Rodney King were acquitted of beating him up. The city exploded. It was chaos. … See, the dirty little secret of civilization is that it’s designed to maintain order when 99.9% of folks are orderly. But, say, if just 2% of folks stop playing by the rules…uh oh.

So, when the local dirtbags showed up for some casual looting, they noticed the rooftops were lined with hardcore guys packing some serious heat, including the kind of scary rifles that the Democrats want to ban.

    The Rooftop Koreans.

It did not take long for the bad guys to realize that the Rooftop Koreans were not playing games – they were playing for keeps. The mob went away in search of softer targets.
