Los Angeles has always had Skid Row. The real issue is that huge swaths of L.A., Orange County, and almost all of San Francisco, are now WORSE than Skid Row.

Virtually anyone who wants a job can have one with the Trump economy. There is a small percentage that is disabled or mentally ill. But the vast majority of today’s homeless are such because they would rather sit around all day with their friends than work.

275k jobs were added in April.

Prominent clergy, scholars accuse Pope Francis of heresy in open letter
Prominent clergymen and scholars including Fr. Aidan Nichols, one of the best-known theologians in the English-speaking world, have issued an open letter accusing Pope Francis of committing heresy. They ask the bishops of the Catholic Church, to whom the open letter is addressed, to “take the steps necessary to deal with the grave situation” of a pope committing this crime.

I am Catholic and thought my faith would be more important as I grew older. With today’s pope and bishops, it has never meant less. Unfortunately, Karl Marx has had a far greater impact on Francis than Jesus Christ.
