Perhaps the most overrated team this season is Notre Dame, which plays Michigan tonight. With the exception of #9 Georgia and #19 Michigan, Notre Dame’s schedule reads like a mid-major: Louisville (57), New Mexico (122), Virginia (29), Bowling Green (119), Southern Cal (35), Virginia Tech (49), Duke (55), Navy (33), Boston College (56) and Stanford (77).

Compare that to Michigan: Wisconsin (12), Iowa (22), Penn State (6), Notre Dame (10) and Ohio State (1) based on CBS 130.

We’ll see what happens tonight.

Interesting match-up this afternoon is Central Michigan @ SUNY Buffalo. The Chippewas have one of the most potent offenses in the MAC averaging 35 points in conference play. Two Chips running backs had over 100 yards last Saturday against Bowling Green. Buffalo has one of the strongest defenses (18 points/game) but a weak offense (only one offensive TD in a shutout against Akron last Saturday, but its defense scored two).

This week’s picks:

TLS: Connecticut @ Massachusetts, Illinois @ Purdue, Troy @ Georgia State, Eastern Michigan @ Toledo, Memphis @ Tulsa, Central Florida @ Temple, Indiana @ Nebraska, Central Michigan @ SUNY Buffalo, South Florida @ East Carolina, Liberty @ Rutgers, Utah State @ Air Force, Western Kentucky @ Marshall, Arizona @ Stanford, Duke @ North Carolina, Penn State @ Michigan State, Miami (OH) @ Kent State, Oklahoma State @ Iowa State, Florida International @ Middle Tennessee State, Ohio @ Ball State, South Carolina @ Tennessee, Tulane @ Navy, Texas @ TCU, Miami (FL) @ Pittsburgh, Virginia @ Louisville, Texas Tech @ Kansas, North Texas @ UNC Charlotte, Notre Dame @ Michigan, Arizona State @ UCLA

Just a little update from yesterday.
    https://www.theepochtimes.com/graham-says-senate-resolution-condemning-impeachment-inquiry-has-50-co-sponsors_3128028.html

Not that it matters as this is all for show since he knows he’ll never get 60, but telling that a few stranglers must have heard from home state voters and meaninglessly signed on after.

    Pic3 – I’ll take the package deal.

post 1 “since he knows he’ll never get 60” Why would they need 60, this is a resolution not legislation?

    Poor JR.
Power shutdown extended and could last till midday Monday.

I read this on the JustOneMinute blog.
“This is almost comical, even if sad. There is a large uncontrolled fire near Geyserville and Healdsburg in the Sonoma Wine Country. PG&E shut down power in the residential lines to prevent a fire hours before the Kincade fire stated.
Now it looks like it was PG&E equipment that started it anyway as one of their main transmission lines had a fault right where the fire started and right before it was first reported.
They can’t shut down the main transmission lines without shutting power off to millions in urban areas they don’t intend to shut down. The same happened in the Camp Fire that destroyed Paradise last year.”

If it’s true that main transmission lines can/are causing fires then we city lads may join JR in cursing the darkness.
PGE could be forced to shut down lines serving major cities. That will be a picnic.

    9,

    Look at the bright side:

    * Crime will go up in urban areas giving the LEOs plenty of opportunity to rack up arrests.
    * Birth rate will rise.
    * All those Security Mgrs responsible for the data centers will find out if their contingency plans work as advertised.

8 – Brought it upon themselves if that’s the case by letting this get as far as it has, isn’t the judge in that case still Sullivan, who’s thrown ‘the people’ a bone every now and again but who has generally given the DS what they want more often than not? Judge should be fearing being lynched by the public should he let this BS from doj stand more than the DS, but as you allude too I doubt it.

Another Sunday, another day when I won’t be watching the NFL and not missing it one iota.

Note: The NBA is the best thing that’s happened to the NFL in a few years. Lebron and his comrades make the kneelers look like red blooded, flag-waving Americans.
