This Impeachment Thing Is Getting Very Interesting

Recent Discoveries:

  • Will the impeachment efforts blow up in the Democrats faces, helping Trump to win a second term?
  • How will this affect Schiff and Pelosi?
  • How will CNN and the rest of the media (including FNC) try to spin this against Trump and protect the Democrats?
  • How will this further erode the American public’s trust of the media?
  • Can you say, “Set up?”

I don’t know about you, but I have a whole case of Yuengling. All that’s needed is to pop the corn.  Image result for yuengling beer

It’s a shame Andy Kaufman is dead. He wouldn’t have needed makeup.

I suspect Trump has the Dim leadership by the short hairs —

Think about it. If you are the target of an investigation there are basically two ways to go:

1/ Go along, cooperate, and act the patsy hoping it works out in the end to your favor.
2/ Dare them to ‘do it’ cause you know something or you know they don’t have the goods. And best they commit a technical error that blows up in their face.

Trump is essentially doing (2). He’s taunting Pelosi to do the vote. So either Trump has a feel that the Dims might crumble if forced to do so or he has something even more damaging against them but needs the vote to seal the deal.

Thanks. Something just clicked in the ole brain. Ukraine was at the core a finance fraud.

What is the usual trick for a shady Pol? Direct spending, military or otherwise to their supporters thru various legalized programs. In return the cronies funnel part of the loot back to PACs that support the candidate. It works but it is ponderous, clumsy and if you screw up lands you in jail. Would it not be nice if we did not have to follow the rules!

Someone comes up with a scheme, do it overseas. Ukraine is the winner. So now .mil and state dept funds are funneled to UA. Free of US rules, you see deals like the Hunter Biden arrangement and the Pelosi one you just posted. No third parties arms length graft. Its direct, just use a family member as the agent. It might even be worth looking into how many UA funded bank accounts have American recipients in Swiss holdings.

So I wonder how many are compromised by this scheme on the Dim side? And I apologize, I am slow on the uptake, but show me a trend and I can usually figure it out.

IMHO this is the time for the GOP to start playing hardball. Adam Schiff was obviously caught in a lie and it hasn’t been the first time. For two years he has been working to impeach the President. What they claim he has done (Stormy, Russia, the Ukraine) has been nothing but a ruse. It’s time to start questioning the honesty, integrity and motives of Schiff and Pelosi. They want to remove the President and are willing to divide and destroy the country to do so. Schiff claimed he had evidence on Trump with Russiagate. Yet another lie.

It’s also the time to run an all-out attack on the media using the Gallup figures. Only 37% of independents trust the media according to Gallup. I would especially go after CNN – citing the number of Democrats/former Obama officials working there. I would even mention Covington Catholic as an example of how CNN was willing to destroy the life of a totally innocent 15-year old boy to achieve its objectives.

    BC, 4,

That is the proper course of action.

The trick to this is prove that the Dims were using Ukraine for money laundering. At least in the House the Dims are not fighting Trump because he is Trump. They are fighting tooth and nail to prevent something from being discovered by the general public that Trump is attempting to expose.

Bc3b, it is way past time for the GOP to play hardball…hell, even SOFTBALL. But most of the GOP leadership doesn’t want to rock the boat…and jeopardize their future lobbying gigs.

Donald Trump is like the ‘Mule’ in Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series (specifically the 2nd book). The Mule upset everybody’s plans…and both sides tried to destroy him. He was utterly unexpected…as was Trump. My point is simply that Trump has damn few actual allies…except US. 🙂

It is way past the GOP to play hardball, but we are talking Donald Trump.

Think of all the things Trump has accomplished and what else he could have accomplished were it not for Paul Ryan and the Democrats.

In their worst nightmare the elites never thought that a billionaire would be leading the unwashed masses … the “deplorables.”

The 2020 election promises to be something else. While Bush and most Republicans cower in fear when the media attacks, Donald Trump gives them the finger and starts throwing grenades.

“In their worst nightmare the elites never thought that a billionaire would be leading the unwashed masses … the “deplorables.” ”

The Dims may not have considered it. History tells a different story. Washington was arguably the 4 or 5 richest plantation owner in the colonies. Hancock one of the top merchants. Franklin a publishing empire equivalent to Hearst for his time period. They led deplorables then just as now. As Cornwallis opined at the time — “… that unwashed rabble.”

District Judge Tammy Kemp, who presided over the murder trial of Amber Guyger, handed her a Bible on Wednesday after the emotional sentencing hearing. And the Left went FURTHER nuts (if that’s possible).

THIS is how the Dallas Morning News is phrasing this:

==> “Judge who gave Amber Guyger a bible accused of violating freedom from religion”

Note the word “from”. There is no freedom FROM religion specified in the Constitution…it’s Freedom OF Religion.

But the perpetually outraged Left has their media lapdogs sheltering the atheist HATE groups who claim they are offended by ANY display or mention of faith.

It’s definitely heating up. I think the Dem’s are just stupid enough to try this:

Tlaib told Detroit constituents at her “Congress, Coffee, and Conversation” event on Tuesday that lawmakers are focused on how best to take cabinet members into custody. “This is the first time we’ve ever had a situation like this,” she said. “So they’re trying to figure out, no joke, is it the D.C. police that goes and gets them? We don’t know. Where do we hold them?”

An America Rising PAC tracker caught Tlaib on video speculating what could happen to Trump administration officials held in contempt of Congress. The congresswoman pointed to Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and Attorney General William Barr, who were both held in criminal contempt of Congress for defying congressional subpoenas.

bc ~ Sadly, I’m sure they’ll elect someone just as loony, but if we could keep these people to one term with no seniority it would help.

I looked at who’s running against Adam Schiff the other day so I could donate to his primary challenger, but the 5 people running against him don’t have a snowballs chance in heck of even affording one ad. 2 are R challengers and the other 3 include some guy who apparently lost in the governor race (I didn’t know he ran!) and an aspiring actress.

bc3b, it could been a Sea Nymph…or a rubber raft…gee, dunno. That’s why my advice to kids is NEVER mix these four things:

    1 – alcohol
    2 – fishing (from a boat)
    3 – guns
    4 – darkness

you wind up (in the morning) with no fish, no boat, and no guns…and a big headache! *sigh*
