Media Has a Problem with Anything GOP Does

The Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee have effectively been locked out of Adam Schiff’s Star Chamber proceedings.

Rather than criticizing Schiff and the Democrats for the lack of transparency, the media along with its well-paid fake Republican stooges are attacking the Republicans for trying to break into the closed door proceedings.

Meghan McCain, who – were she not John McCain’s daughter – would simply be a fat bleached blonde waiting tables at a truck stop in rural Kentucky, attacked  Matt Gaetz on The View with Abby Huntsman chiming in. These ladies certainly work hard to earn their master’s money.

Had the roles been reversed and Democrats attempted to break in, the media would be praising them as “saving democracy.”

Meghan McCain took aim Thursday at Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz, accusing him of engaging in “political stunts.”

McCain and her cohosts on ABC’s “The View” were discussing the fact that Gaetz, along with other House Republicans, had stormed into Wednesday’s closed-door impeachment hearing with Department of Defense official Laura Cooper. They argued that they were being denied access to the facts and that the process was unfair.

Abby Huntsman began the segment by saying that the “spectacle” took away from the actual issues. “I don’t belong in this time in history on television in Politics because everything has become a spectacle. Everything is, how can I make this about myself? I wonder if that would have happened yesterday, if cable news didn’t exist, if the president wasn’t watching them,” Huntsman said. “Everything is political, but at the end of the day, if you are one of their constituents, doesn’t this frustrate you? There is no substance here.”

McCain jumped in then, bringing up the Democrats’ 2016 sit-in over gun control and saying, “I hate political stunts across the board in general. We elect people in order to serve in Congress.”

“We elect you to get your freaking job done, one way or the other, and when you are sitting on a sit-in for 26 hours, or doing what Republicans did yesterday — Matt Gaetz, when did you become a TV star or want to be a TV star?” McCain continued. “You want to do that? Get the hell out of Congress! Get a TV job.”

A carton of Ho Ho’s, Meghan’s favorite, wouldn’t last 10 minutes. Doesn’t Ho Hos perfectly describe Meghan and Abby Huntsman? Have you ever seen so much makeup on a clown outside of the circus?

Speaking of fat fake Republican Ho Hos, Ana Navarro provides some unintentional comedy:

This woman has been in the US for more than 30 years and still talks like Ricky Riccardo – not Dezi Arnez, but Ricky Riccardo.

Ever hear of a first year FBS independent. like Liberty, being a favorite over a Big 10 team that is playing at home? Somewhere Jerry Falwell is looking down and smiling. Can Rutgers wipe the smile off his face?

Trump has realized that the media is going to hate and slander him no matter he says or does…so he does what he pleases!

Trump used to get good press before he ran for President, so I think he thought that would continue. It took him about 35 seconds to figure out that it didn’t! It took the press MUCH longer to figure out that they had found the heretofore legendary “Republican who fights back!

    yup, bc3b, they’re gonna turn us off/on/off/on again…mostly OFF

We “may” have electricity until early Saturday morning…may. We all have generators, but ya can’t run ’em 24×7 or you use up all your propane (ours is plumbed into our big tank that provides power to the house).

We’re thinking of becoming Amish 🙂

For over a thousand years BEFORE the birth of Christ, Roman held that “someone accused has the right to look in the eyes of their accuser”.

This is reaffirmed in the Bible in Acts 25:16, which states: “‘It is not the custom of the Romans to deliver any man to destruction before the accused meets the accusers face to face, and has opportunity to answer for himself concerning the charge against him.”

English Common Law and the Magna Carta, explicitly reaffirmed this. It was then enshrined in the Sixth Amendment of our Constitution. U.S. Constitution.

Scoundrels routinely try to circumvent this, the last attempt to do so came in 2004.

In 2004 the Supreme Court ruled that: “Dispensing with confrontation because testimony is obviously reliable is akin to dispensing with jury trial because the defendant is obviously guilty.” They also ruled that “the person making the statement must generally be available for cross examination.”

Those “scoundrels” I mentioned? They are busy again…the Lawyers for the so-called “whistleblower” proclaim FACING YOUR ACCUSER is sooooo ancient history!!!

    10,

Not to be contrarian — https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/letters/colleague-201104.html — But Obama’s Dept of Ed suspended that tradition AND the 6th Amend with the above carefully crafted letter.

Its been star chambers and kangaroo courts all the way down for any college student ever sense.

Here’s hoping all the CA BJGers enjoy (if that is the right term) their Venezuela moments. Imagine, all the experience of an exotic location without leaving home. /sarc

Actually, Democrats, Ecofreaks and Public Commissions should be ashamed of themselves. I bet all the DIY engineers in the State of Jefferson could do better. Like say a 500Mw thorium plant.

    Ewwww…. CNN, don’t click.
But funny, and embarrassing to host country China

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/24/asia/china-military-world-games-cheating-intl-hnk-scli/index.html
Chinese team disqualified for ‘extensive cheating’ at Military World Games

A Chinese team has been kicked out of its own Military World Games after other countries alerted judges to “extensive cheating” by the hosts.

Originally the Chinese athletes had taken the first, second and fourth places in the women’s middle-distance orienteering competition, as well as second place in the men’s, during the race on Sunday, according to a statement by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF).
But after a complaint by six European countries, including Russia and France, judges discovered that Chinese runners had been assisted by local spectators. This included onlookers placing markings and preparing special paths in the terrain for Chinese athletes, which only those competitors were aware of.

Like the Olympics, the Military World Games are held every four years. The inaugural competition was held in Rome in 1995 and this is China’s first time hosting the event, which will continue until October 30.
More than 9,000 athletes from 109 countries are expected to take part in the Wuhan games, according to local organizers.
Among the events are swimming, parachuting, orienteering and wrestling. So far, China is substantially leading on the medal tally, with twice as many gold medals as nearest competitor Russia.
