Will Healthcare for All Sink Lie-A-Watha?

Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren admits her healthcare for all would include people who are in the country illegally.

The media still refuses to ask the relevant questions:

  • How will her plan, which some experts say the real cost is $52 trillion, be funded?
  • Won’t Warren’s healthcare, coupled with not enforcing the nation’s immigration laws have the same effect on the US that liberalism, non-enforcement of laws and social welfare programs have had in California – creating a powerful magnet to draw  poor and homeless from around the world along with the problems they create?

Let’s start with Warren’s healthcare for all. $52  trillion represents $158,500 for every man, woman or child in the US or $634,000 for a family of four (based on 328 million). This is over three times the value of the average house in the US. It’s not hard to calculate if you know Excel, which apparently no one at CNN does.

Not that the left-wing media would question her on it, but who is going to pay for it? Are there enough millionaires and billionaires to cover it? What’s to prevent millionaires and billionaires from fleeing the US just as taxpaying middle class Americans have fled California?

Obviously millionaires and billionaires alone cannot fund Lie-A-Watha’s socialistic fantasy. It will fall on the shoulders of working class Americans.

Then there’s the second part of the dilemma: how do you handle the problems created by an influx of tens of millions of unskilled, uneducated people who don’t speak English, many of whom would have serious health problems? What will the drain be on the country’s healthcare system? Few people migrating to the US will be doctors and nurses to help handle the influx. What about the impact on education? The Kansas City, KS school system has students that speak over 80 languages and its schools are among the worst in the country. Will most US schools be any better?

Of course, all these questions are racissst, but Donald Trump is just racissst enough to ask them. CNN and the rest of the media  can only protect Warren for so long.

That’s why the left is warming Michael Bloomberg up in the bullpen. He hasn’t been involved in the debates or come under the scrutiny (from the Internet) that Lie-A-Watha, Bernie the Socialist or Skateboard Beto have. Bloomberg doesn’t come across as loony as Tom Streyer. And he isn’t Hillary Clinton. New York City is the socialists’ idea  of paradise – a rat infested, crime infested  world without the pesky middle class.

The left’s next “great hope?”

Another racissst question: Does a country wanting to attract people who won’t make a positive contribution make any more sense than the St. Louis Blues adding players that can’t skate?

It’s amazing a teenager can make so much sense and governmental officials so little.

Detroit and Cleveland streets don’t look like LA’s, SFs or Austin’s for that matter. LA and SF streets didn’t look like that 15 years ago. Austin’s didn’t look like that last year. And, changing people’s lifestyle (to get the homeless off drugs and off the streets) is never part of the plan.

Disturbing fact: It appears KOMO’s “Seattle Is Dying” documentary, which we posted hers, had no effect on the city’s elections last week.

Something that will bring tears to fight on’s eyes: Southern Cal had LSU’s Ed Orgeron as interim head coach. He wanted the job and the players wanted him.

While working in Silicon Valley for years I experienced “wokeness” back then…and it is worse now. South Park did an episode a while back showing “woke” San Franciscans sniffing each others farts…and it was hilarious because it is damn near what they do in S.F., Silicon Valley, Hollywood, etc.

But reality always rears its head…and it will again.

Today’s Marines are getting wimpy – carrying umbrellas now … not as wimpy as Mullet’s and my USAF, but wimpy none the less:

Can you picture Marines in the South Pacific 75 years ago – M-1 in one hand and an umbrella in the other?

    3,4,

Of course not. But I bet that video has fewer people considering Seattle as a place to move to.

Not off topic at all. Lie-A-Watha could have beaten Mittens because he wouldn’t have called he bluff. Trump will call heer out.

Sanders and AOC are right – billionaires like Gates, Bloomberg, Bezos, etc. want to give away other people’s money … not their own.

The Dems are afraid that – unlike Seattle voters – real Americans will wake up and smell the roses.

Whats to cry about. We are 92nd in red zone offense and top 10 in penalties against.

I texted a friend last night, explain to me again why we fired coach O and promoted Clay Helton.

Yesterday’s losses likely sealed the fate of coaches at Arkansas and South Carolina. Power Five teams are not supposed to lose to the Sunbelt and Conference USA.

    Back to the OP.

No the health plan proposed will not sink Warren. It won’t because:

    * Few Americans do math.
    * Journalists NEVER do math, its part of their occupation.
    * To think of the ramifications requires a conservation beyond a sound bite or meme.

Guys like Madison and Jefferson knew full well over arching centralized anything is a disaster. Hell they covered it in the Federalist Papers, “equal effort does not guarantee equal outcomes….”. To forget that maxim is to invite failure.

In college a coach makes a huge difference. Central Michigan was 1-11 last season (only win against FCS Maine) and this year they are 6-4 with losses against Wisconsin and Miami (FL). Akron also made a coaching change and went from 4-8 last season to 0-10 this year and have been outscored 9-131 in its last four games.
