White Privilege Does Exist

For 1/1,000,000th of the white population.

It exists is your parents are powerful politicians and people/corporations want to buy their influence.

Hunter Biden obviously is Exhibit A. Immediately out of law school, Hunter landed a job as a vice president with MBNA, one of Delaware’s largest corporations. MBNA, now part of Bank of America, was one of the nation’s largest credit card issuers. Pappa Joe just happened to be a member of the Senate Banking Committee at the time. Hunter later flew with his father, then vice president, to China, where he used his father’s influence to negotiate deals with Chinese businesses. In the Ukraine, Hunter was named to the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company, pulling in $50,000 a month. When a Ukrainian prosecutor investigated corruption in the company Vice President Biden threatened to withhold a billion dollars in US aid unless the prosecutor was fired.

Not to be outdone by Hunter Biden, Paul Pelosi, Jr. also was named to the board of Viscoil Group of Companies and NRGLab, another Ukrainian energy company, which actually used footage of Paul’s famous mother in a public relations campaign. In addition, Info USA,  a major contributor to Democratic candidates, provided Paul with a no-show job as a senior vice president. Paul was seldom seen at Info USA’s Omaha headquarters.

But, no one outshines Chelsea Clinton as a grifter. Chelsea once was paid $600,000 by NBC for doing … virtually nothing. But, that was “chump change.”

Chelsea Clinton has reaped $9 million in compensation since 2011 for serving on the board of an internet investment company, according to Barron’s, the financial publication.

Barron’s reported Sunday that Clinton has profited handsomely as a board member for IAC/InterActiveCorp, a media and internet investment company that has an ownership stake in 150 well-known brands, such as Vimeo, Tinder, Angie’s List and Home Advisor.

Clinton, the only child of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has served on IAC’s board since 2011 and receives an annual $50,000 retainer and $250,000 worth of restricted IAC stock units, Barron’s reports.

She reported owning $8.95 million worth of IAC stock to the Securities and Exchange Commission at the end of December.

Barron’s notes that IAC’s stock has risen 89 percent, 50 percent and 36 percent in 2017, 2018 and 2019, respectively, a far steeper rise than the broader stock market.

Clinton’s public profile has proved a valuable commodity.

She earned an annual salary of $600,000 working as a special correspondent for NBC News in 2013 and part of 2014.

Clinton was named to the board of Expedia Group in March of 2017, a position that typically earned $250,000 in 2015, according to a report at the time by The Guardian.

Both IAC and Expedia are controlled by Barry Diller, the business and television mogul, who is a friend of Hillary Clinton.

These are just three examples. But there are children on both sides of the aisle who are making millions not because they have any particular ability or aptitude, but simply to gain favor with their powerful parents.

Notice how the US government doesn’t break up monopolies these days? When you are powerfully connected, like Barry Diller, you don’t have any worries.

With Angie’s List and homeadvisor.com he controls the referral industry. If you’re booking a trip online, you’re likely using a company owned by Expedia:

    Competition? What’s that?

Goes even deeper than a chummy relationship. There are laws and rules of Congress that prevent a member from profiting from ‘relationships’ with industry and those they regulate. Soooo…. There is nothing preventing the spawn of these members from profiting…. Then of course if you look close many of these members have a 503(x) of some sort that is family held. So spawn takes the graft, funnels it, parent looks clean, the family foundation/whatever is flush with cash to which they can all indulge as directors once member-parent exits the hallowed halls.

Nice nonprofit you have there, be a shame if something happened to it.

Anti-trust? Won’t be so long as K Street exists.

It isn’t just the children who get to openly profit…Sen. Feinstein, for example, has been funneling contracts to her husband for decades, and now they are worth well over a hundred millions bucks! All “legal”, of course.

Drain the swamp? The swamp needs to be nuked!

5 – Yup, that one is a confusing mess. Sort of interesting timing though given events of last 12hr and another ‘disaster’.

Welcome to your Democrat privilege bitches — “California Judge Denies ‘Gig Worker’ Exemption To Freelance Journalists” — Vote stupid leaders, win stupid laws.

Now to tell you the truth I am against CA AB 5. However there is a silver lining. My guess is 90% of the gig ‘journalists’ working for various pubs on and off line are just activists in disguise. Less of that has to be a good thing on the whole.
