Is Power That Important?

I ask that to you, the DNC. Has your hatred of Trump risen to the level that you are willing to destroy one individual in order to grasp the ring? If you are willing to do this to your own leadership, what should that tell us, We the People, what you will do to us on a mere whim?

Forget the Corona virus America, you a destined to get it no matter what. Accept that. Muddle thru it. But what you are watching unfold with Biden is an unbridled lust for power. A lust for power that can mean ruin to citizens, opposition parties and a nation.

Thy shall not covet

Words worth considering in this political season.

I would suggest we pay particular attention to whom is slated for the number 2 slot. They could be the next POTUS 30 seconds after Biden would be sworn in if he survives to win the election. The ink may not even be dry on an 25th Amendment move the second Biden would remove his hand from the bible at the swearing in.

Joe would not collect $200, pay rent for staying at the White House but go directly to Walter Reed and die there. Personally I have my doubts he mentally/physically makes it to November intact.

in 2016 Hillary was “afflicted” with the Chardonnay-Virus…and thus disappeared for “treatment” frequently. (She apparently avoided Wisconsin and Pennsylvania due to their lack of Chardonnay)

In 2020 Biden will be kept under wraps as much as possible…and his programmers/handlers will use the Coronavirus as the convenient excuse.

And yes, within days (weeks, at most) the media will SUDDENLY NOTICE that Joe is in trouble…and, OMG, decide he must be removed!

I even think Joe’s keepers will try to weasel out of debating Trump…stay tuned

the more I think about it, I wonder if Biden is even aware of how bumbling he looks. I think he is TOTALLY shielded, and after each “performance” he is told how AWESOME he was!! But yes, even if “elected”, he will never govern.

I believe if slow Joe wins Michigan, Missouri and Washington he does not debate Bernie on Sunday.

His camp will make the argument no reason to debate because Joe has sewn up the nomination.

The best way for Slow Joe to succeed in a debate is by not showing up.

Speaking of hatred for Donald Trump:

Bill Maher and Rick Wilson hope for recession in the hope that it will help defeat Trump:

    https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/business/joseph-vazquez/2020/03/09/flashback-bill-maher-and-rick-wilson-called-recession-hope

Nicolle Wallace giddy over possibility of Coronavirus being Trump’s “Katrina”:

It says volume about the left (although Wilson still claims to be a Republican, which is his meal ticket at CNN) hope people lose jobs, homes, etc. or even die because of their hatred for Donald Trump.

Detroit Auto Workers also greet Biden with signs, shouts supporting President Trump:

In 2020, the union leadership – which is on the dole – supports the Democrats. The rank and file, not so much. Hopefully Trump will finish turning the GOP into the working class party while the US working class still exists.

Here’s the funny bit about ‘hoping for recession’. The virus outbreak and subsequent economic downturn is Trump’s cover, not his doom. All he has to promise is that he will get the economy going again and his rating will hit 60%. He could be lying thru his teeth in making the promise, but that is not material; perceptions baby, perceptions. That is all that matters rolling into November.

That sounds likely. I can hear Trump saying “Due to Dem opposition we weren’t able to close the border quickly enough but vote for me and …”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel gave a grave prognosis to parliament on Tuesday, telling members that “60 to 70%” of the German population will contract the coronavirus at some point, according to Bild. The German tabloid reported that upon dropping the statistic in the parliamentary meeting, the room fell silent. Germany has seen more than 1,400 positive test results for COVID-19 so far, with two confirmed deaths. Merkel went on to tell lawmakers that additional cancellations of events and large gatherings could come depending on the severity of the outbreak.

    Hat Tip: Business Insider

Speaking of contagious diseases, it appears the old commie sow caught a case of Alzheimer’s from Slow Joe. With a population of 84 million, that’s between 50.4-million and 58.8 million. Germany better start building more hospitals fast.

    16,

    Truth indeed.

In the true spirit of Rahm Emannuel and not letting a crisis go to waste; Trump ought to….

    * Do a televised ‘fireside chat’ on the virus situation. Mobilize the People to get over the problem. Get them focused on a task to tamp down the fear. Tell folks there is a good chance they will get the virus and need to be prepared to be in quarantine for possibly 3 weeks. Provide a ‘school day list’ of those extra items a household should buy once a week to be prepared. (JIT is based on running average buys, not mobs.) Invite appropriate guest speakers to cover specific topics.

The Dims will be miffed since DJT is using the Roosevelt model but really can’t complain too loudly lest people start questioning Progressive dogma.

    * China is on the ropes economically. NOW is the time to cut a deal on trade. They will need it more than we do.

    * For once develop an strategic economic policy. It is crazy that China who is our current adversary is providing from 40% to 80% of our drug supply. While this current virus situation is fresh in everyone’s minds, twist the arms of the Dims to approve such a set of policies and incentives to achieve the goals. They won’t otherwise.

    * Close the border. No stronger case for it that right now!

6 – Little cherry picking with that no2 map, I’d like to see one from this week, vs when they were still on total lockdown on feb 22nd as pictured, while I doubt it’s back to full pre-cov19 I’d bet it looks far more like normal.

    … back from some duckducking..
    https://waqi.info/#/c/33.736/-241.033/6.5z

I’ve been looking at this – and just spot checking 150’ish and higher areas and looking at the 12mo data on no2 as it scroll in the bottom of the popup\overlay, outside of some days with no data were you would expect mid-late feb, the last 2weeks seems mostly in line with pre-feb data. Some seem slightly lighter, some seem slightly darker (more) this week vs early jan, on average it seems they’re back to normal, it’s clear as day though in the graph when the full on quarantine happened in the area.

18 – If he’s gonna fireside with network time, he better stay on script. They’ll find something to rip on regardless, but in this sort of situation ad-libbing is a bad idea, unnecessary ammo giving.

As for the China ropes, I’m note remotely so sure, knocked down a peg in worlds eyes sure, but considering they could cut off large parts of our medicine supply in the short term maybe wait a couple months for more trade threats. But for sure use this as prime example of what Trumps been talking about for 20 years – over reliance on foreign supply chains (never going to solve the problem entirely but in lots of key areas it’s in that 75-100% range and that must end – that means strategic economic policy changes, ideally with teeth). Course not much will happen on gov side cause they’ll block it at every turn and everyone will just think this guy is gone in 12mo.

On a negative note, I don’t know what’s up in Italy’s their numbers just jumped, whatever is happening there it’s not the same as some others. Maybe it’s just lack of sample of known outcome size but of the 1355 cases where an outcome has happened (recovery or death), the death rate is 46% there. Assuming Iran isn’t false reporting they’re running 9% on a sample size of 3022 outcomes. hubei\wuhan prov CN running 6% (on 50767 sample), rest of china <1% on about 5koutcomes (this seems like bit of lie), SK with only sample of 301 outcomes it's 18%. It's weird that iran seems to be managing it better than Italy on paper, wonder if that's just demographics of the infected. You know like here in the us were like 2/3rds the deaths thus far are all from that one nursing home. Course our numbers almost doubled in last 36hr too, now that far more are being tested is being done expect that daily for the next 3 weeks.

God only knows how many lab errors (either way) will happen in the next month, not to mention possible bad actors false flagging people pos in order to try to milk insurance companies or the gov if they decide to backstop.

““The largest cluster of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country is located in New Rochelle, and as the numbers continue to go up we need a special public health strategy to contain it,” Cuomo said. “We are moving from containment to mitigation, and because much of the transmission of this disease tends to happen on a geographic basis, we are attacking this hotspot at the source.”

The state will open a temporary testing facility and deploy the national guard to support containment efforts by delivering food to households and disinfect the area. The containment will begin March 12 and is set to conclude on March 25.”

“That’s someone else’s job” factor? Apparently nobody at Hartsfield got the memo, with the cdc less then 20miles away, and I think still the most trafficked airport in the nation you’d think they’d be the first to be on top of their game – nope.

Yeah they’re heavier than Iran for goodness sake.
I saw a blog comment ref to a Chinese enclave in north Italy but I missed the earlier discussion.
One imagines a group who went back to an infected area during Chinese New Year, then returned and spread it far and wide before symptoms popped up

No need for the networks, carry it if they want, but reality is Trump could open up a multicast on the Internet and reach as many Americans as using the old model. Or he could ask OAN for assistance. They would jump on the chance I suspect. The Alphabets would be pissed but they would carry it or become irrelevant more than they already are. No need for equal time either.

On a matter like this virus, yes no adlibbing. Straight facts and actions.
