All Black Lives Don’t Matter: Part III

There have  been nationwide protests and riots over the killing of George Floyd, who died at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer. Floyd, a career criminal, had been arrested by Minneapolis police for passing a counterfeit $20 bill. The BLM movement, Antifa and their media allies claim that “All Black Lives Matter.” But do they really?

Fathers Day weekend two black teens were murdered in Chicago for simply asking a 19-year old black man how tall he is. Sounds stupid, but apparently its true. In 2018, more than 7,000 blacks were murdered, 93% by other blacks. Compare that to a relative handful of unarmed blacks killed by the police every year.

Investigators said Laroy Battle, 19, shot the teens in an alley around 5 p.m. last Saturday, WLS reported.

Investigators said the teens and a friend of theirs did not know Battle, who is 6-foot-3, but had a brief interaction with him moments earlier at a convenience store when they asked how tall he was when they bought some candy at a convenience store, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

“The victims commented, because, since Battle is quite tall, and they asked him how tall he was and you know, hoped to be that tall someday,” Deputy Chief of Detectives Brendan Deenihan said. “And unfortunately, obviously we’ll never see the full growth of these poor children.”

Battle followed them out and fired nine shots at the three teens as they walked home, striking two of them.

Jasean Francis, 17, was shot in the back, chest and left hand. He was taken to a hospital where he died, WLS reported. Charles Riley, 16, was shot in the back and left leg. He was taken to a hospital where he died. The third teen was not struck, the Sun-Times reported.

The boys had asked their mothers if they could go down the block to buy candy.

“He was nice to seniors on the block,” Jasean’s aunt Keena Hoyle told WLS. “The nurses looked forward to him coming over there daily. They brought over to the family roses. They watched him grow up as a child.”

Battle was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of first degree murder. He has previously been convicted of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was given 18 months probation in December 2019, WBBM reported.

Investigators were able to identify Battle from a tip. “To the community members who stepped forward with information – thank you,” Chicago police said on social media. “Detectives were able to quickly identify Battle, but it was the help we received from the community that led to his arrest.”

The lives of my family, my friends, my community and my country DO matter. My own life matters, but I will gladly lay it down to save those I love. And before I do there will be a huge pile of dead assholes in front of me.

This is one of many “Emperor has no clothes” examples today. A handful of of unarmed blacks are killed by police annually. Over 7,000 blacks were murdered by blacks the same year. Likely more innocent black children were killed by blacks in Chicago this month that unarmed blacks killed by the police last year. But, like the naked emperor, discussing it is taboo.

Another Urban Urchin that will go to finishing school, aka jail. The fact that he served time at State will improve his Chicago Social Score when he gets out in say 20 years.

Just be sure you are on the right side of the dividing line when it all does down.

drdog, we’re gonna have to draw our own “dividing lines”…and ruthlessly enforce them. The cities are going to go belly-up, and then the denizens are going to scatter. The only difference between Trump winning and “someone else” will be the timing of our national demise.

Good article…and yes, non-Marxist thought/speech is being driven underground. I have read the “WHITE Silence is Violence” crap dozens of times in the last few weeks, and had it thrown directly at me as well. I’ve grown tired of pushing back against the drumbeat of idiocy sweeping the nation, and am picking my “battles” on Facebook more carefully…out of fatigue, not fear. But many people ARE fearful of questioning even the tiniest aspect of ANY of Leftist orthodoxy being declared now as: “TRUTH!”. Those on the Left are so certain of their absolute awesomeness that they cannot even conceive of rationale discourse, since everything is “settled”…in their favor.

Once again I am reminded of this old quote, very slightly altered to address the current climate of intellectual INTOLERANCE infesting our nation:

==> “It is sometimes claimed that intellectual intolerance is the fruit of conviction. If one be absolutely certain that one’s VIRTUOUS OPINION is right and all others wrong, it seems criminal to permit one’s neighbors’ obvious error and perdition. I am tempted to think, however, that intellectual intolerance often is the result not of conviction but rather of doubt and insecurity.”

Again, I have been confronted (online) numerous times over the past few weeks by people who decry my refusal to kneel and/or apologize for crimes I never committed as “evidence” that I am complicit in “Racism!”, and/or “incapable of understanding”. They truly wear their “doubt and insecurity” on their collective sleeves, and it is only in a collective that they feel safe from opposing views.

The Supreme Court just upheld abortion…again. John Roberts siding with the unshakeable Leftist block on the court. The Democrats get the best of both worlds, they decry the SCOTUS as “Conservative”, while in fact it is solidly Leftist now.

    9,

If the growth in alt-tech is any indication you are correct. But the shoe is flipped. When sites like Parler, Gab, BitChute are bigger than their legacy alternatives, well just watch:

    * the Corps will come it because they see a market to tap.
    * the Left will try to come in and undermine it.
    * some legacy tech darlings will fold.

Take a look “upstairs” (in the article) and you’ll see what “full house” looks like at my parish under the state-mandated requirements. My parish has 2,200 families. There are a maximum of 120 people allowed at each mass and you must RSVP, selecting an arrival time (e.g. for the 5;00 Saturday afternoon mass: 40 people RSVP to arrive between 4:30 and 4:40; 40 people RSVP to arrive between 4:40 and 4:50 and 40 RSVP to arrive between $:50 and 5:00). Prior to the pandemic we had four masses each weekend: 5 PM Saturday, 8 AM, 9:45 AM and 11:30 AM Sunday. Now, it’s just 5 PM Saturday and 9:45 AM Sunday.

Since the priest is at the alter, that is from when mass is taking place, not before.

One of the reasons Bush the Lesser appointed Roberts was because he “didn’t have a paper trail” so he really didn’t know what he was getting (not that it mattered to Bush the Lesser).

Perhaps Bush the Lesser knew Roberts was weak on abortion and appointed him to placate Laura and the daughters. After both Bushes terms ended, we discovered how liberal their wives really are/were in the case of Barbara. Any of us who is/has been married realizes how influential wives are.

bc3b, to be fair, Roberts is weak on EVERYTHING…not just abortion and 2nd Amendment rights.

Plus, Roberts has a copy of the Super Secret Constitution…which has lots of “extra stuff” in it…like ObamaCare.
