With Today’s Left, Nothing Is What It Seems

Yet the media always covers up. NPR recently hosted Vicky Osterweil, an author with a “new” book that justifies looting basically because people are taking stuff that they don’t have but “need”, like 60-inch flat screen TVs and iPads.

We truly live in a bizarre world where the left justifies anything as long as it’s politically correct and the perpetrators are protected class people.

Michelle’s Mirror did a little investigating to uncover exactly who Vicky Osterweil is and discovered the book isn’t exactly new. It also discovered Vicky isn’t your average ugly woman.

Meet the privileged, university credentialed white chick who thinks rioting and looting in the name of ‘social justice’ is cool and should be advocated because, well, white privilege.

In Defense of Looting by Vicky Osterweil | Bold Type Books

“A fresh argument for rioting and looting as our most powerful tools for dismantling white supremacy”

Recently NPR gave Ms. Vicky a platform for promoting zer post-communist platform:

Looting strikes at the heart of property, of whiteness and of the police. It gets to the very root of the way those three things are interconnected. And also it provides people with an imaginative sense of freedom and pleasure and helps them imagine a world that could be.

So I think we have a right to know a little more about Ms.Vicky.

AltAzn on Twitter: "This is Vicky Osterweil. This is the person accusing Korean-American merchants in 1992 Los Angeles of perpetuating “white supremacist” violence. Wokeness is anti-Asian.… https://t.co/i5qa77UvX5"

Got that? Looting during the course of riots is a redistribution of wealth, not theft, and that property damage, too, is simply a way to reapportion assets which she deems necessary in an unequal society.”

So just who is this lil darling? It appears that Ms. Vicky was born Willie Osterweiler

Bloombergville & tent cities internationally - YouTube

and as such previously pedaled the same idea under that nom.

In Defense of Looting by Willie Osterweil

Even 20 years ago Osterweil would have been dismissed as a mentally unstable individual. In 2020 she/he/it is taken seriously by the left and given air time on NPR to promote a “new” book that really isn’t new.

We have been down this road before. From about 12th to 16th century England the right to property was nominally determined by possession or royal decree. If you went to the next village to trade sheep you might come back to find a squatter in your home and it was NOW theirs. Needless to say it puts a damper on trade. The concept of a recorded deed stopped all that. That had as much to do with the industrial revolution busting out as anything.

White Privilege — The only race that has none. Nuf said.

Aaaaaah the Police. To a crook there is nothing better. As least with the Police there are legal niceties to follow. With a lynch mob no so much —

Lynching or mob violence is usually, but not exclusively, associated with racism. However, much regional variation existed across the United States. In the South the system of slavery maintained a strong tradition of summary justice, with white owners exercising total control over black “property” and dispensing any kind of “justice” any time, for any “offense.” After the Civil War, when slaves became free men and women, whites perpetuated a caste system by creating an atmosphere of fear. In the South, the lynch mob institutionalized social control with enforcement by hanging and burning. In the same period, in the western states, where there was a shortage of courts and law enforcement officials, lynching was acceptable punishment for livestock rustlers, stagecoach robbers, gamblers, and other miscreants.

Nationally, lynching grew each year from 1866 through the 1880s, peaked in 1892, and gradually declined, except for an upsurge during the Red Scare of 1919–20. By 1900 the punishment was reserved almost exclusively for blacks. From 1889 through 1918 mobs lynched 129 persons in the Midwest, nine in New England, and 2,915 in the South and Border South. By 1930 the nation reached a total of 3,587.

Be bad form to not mention — Daniel Lewis Lee was executed this year of a federal crime. The last time was 2 decades ago.

So go ahead, defund the police and loot. Just remember the line in the movie, “remember you asked for this.”

“As calls for vichy Portland “mayor” Ted Wheeler to resign increase, the rioters have once again taken to causing a scene out front of his condo in the ritzy Pearl District. This time they smashed out the windows and tried to set the place on fire. Evidently this was the mayor’s birthday, and this was the party antifa threw for him.
Turns out the fire was set in doctor’s office on the first floor of the building, which happens to be minority owned.

the video clip at the link is almost painful to watch. Joe Biden doesn’t really exist anymore. EVERYBODY knows this, but the media/Democrat cabal are going to pretend right up until the election. And if, God forbid, Joe was elected, those same people KNOW that he will never actually govern the country.

A comment about Biden’s “performance” yesterday that sums it up perfectly:
“I could barely watch, not that I like this scum bag but human decency says who ever is letting him do this is so morally corrupt. He should be sitting in his rocker with whatever dignity he has left.”

I blame Jill Biden most of all. This is HER husband. She KNOWS what is going on…and knows the toll this is taking on him. But she is letting him be pushed forward by the diseased media/Democrat cabal in pursuit of POWER!

That is treading very close to civil rights violations and at least one federal statute — Computer Fraud and Abuse Act . One does not have to break into a system to be covered by the act, preventing use of is sufficient. Then there is 18 U.S.C. § 2261A which has been used against doxxing.

The question is do we have the guts to do what is necessary?

The author equates “Joe Biden” (in quotes, as usual, because he doesn’t really exist) to a “chameleon”, because he changes to match the background. The article concludes:

==> The thing about chameleons is that they mostly work only against a solid background. Franklin Roosevelt loved the joke about how he once placed a pet chameleon against a plaid background: “The chameleon died.” Trump is the ideal plaid background against which to place Biden, which is why Democrats are spinning so furiously to get Biden out of debating Trump.

Considering that you are nearly stripped searched boarding a plane you can’t tell me that the TSA can’t produce a passenger manifest of every flight from Portland, –> Dulles to LaGuadia. Insanity…but then the Left considers insanity a FEATURE, not a BUG.
Looters are going to find more and more citizens meting out justice…and they won’t like it.

    From the article:
==> “This is the end” spoke The Doors. And we may now have come to that moment as a nation.

New guidance from Diana Becton, first-term Costa County (California) District Attorney, states that law-enforcement officers must consider if looters “needed” the merchandise they stole before charging them. And whether a shop is open or closed when the thievery takes place matters, and whether the looting was done because of a “state of emergency” or “just because” makes a difference in who gets charged, too.

    Sigh. If they didn’t have double-standards ….

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News had learned.

In security footage obtained by Fox News, and timestamped Monday at 3:08 p.m. Pacific Time, the California powerhouse is seen walking through eSalon in San Francisco with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose.

The stylist doing her hair can be seen following her wearing a black face mask.

Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and were only notified they could reopen on Sept. 1 for outdoor hairstyling services only.

Salon owner Erica Kious, in a phone interview with Fox News on Tuesday, shared details of Pelosi’s visit. Kious explained she has independent stylists working for her who rent chairs in her salon.

“One of the stylists who rents a chair from me contacted me Sunday night,” Kious said.

A screengrab of the text message she received from one of her stylists, and obtained by Fox News, said: “I’ll be there at 2:45 tomorrow. Pelosi assistant just messaged me to do her hair.”

“I was like, are you kidding me right now? Do I let this happen? What do I do?” Kious told Fox News, while noting that she “can’t control” what her stylists do if they rent chairs from her, as “they’re not paying” at this time.

Kious said Pelosi received a wash and a blow-dry, but told Fox News that “you’re not supposed to blow dry hair” according to coronavirus safety precautions for hair salons.

“We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can’t – it’s a feeling – a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down,” Kious said.

“I have been fighting for six months for a business that took me 12 years to build to reopen,” she explained. “I am a single mom, I have two small children, and I have no income.”

She added: “The fact that they did this, and she came in, it’s like a slap in the face.”
