The democrat party has the brass balls to steal a Presidential election for a candidate their voters don’t even like.

The Republicans are too wimpy to stop absolute theft of the Presidency from a candidate 95% of their voters LOVE.

One for the Nerds. — https://go.reg.cx/tdml/4c138/5fee65ff/eeb35cbb/3pGA — Pai, FCC chairman, groveling for a ‘K’ street bailout.

I dunno. Leftie activists threatened Pai’s life and posted “Wanted” pics of his kids near his home..
Now they want to be sure he never gets a job ever again.

“Pai scored the chair position by playing heavily to Trump’s inner circle, giving a series of partisan speeches, turning up at right-wing events and granting interviews to partisan news outlets like Breitbart. Trump gave him the chair role and Pai repaid the favor by repeatedly carrying out the president’s bidding whenever he expressed an opinion on telco policy issues.”
Me: worked for Trump. And us.

Most recently, Pai appalled the telco policy world when he agreed to formally take a look at Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, playing along with Trump’s factless insistence that companies like Twitter and Facebook were censoring conservative voices.
    Me: factless? YGTBFKM.

Perhaps the worst example was when Pai pushed through a series of obscure rule changes at that start of his term that were seemingly designed with a single goal in mind: to clear the way for a media mega-merger between Sinclair – a fierce supporter of Donald Trump – and Tribune Media; a deal that would have given the combined company an enormous media footprint across the United States, reaching 72 per cent of the population.
Me: God forbid conservatives be allowed to have a voice

Drdog, that guy’s take in #7 is interesting…I just don’t know if all 5 of the (mostly) reliably Conservative SCOTUS Justices will really have the balls to throw it to the State Legislators. And then will the GOP State Legislators have the balls and brains to do the right thing?

I don’t know either. One thing is for sure, the left, through the exercise of sheer raw political power to force their policies on everyone else, is making this country is more ungovernable. In the end, it could very well have the opposite of the end result they desire. Of course, in the meantime, all of us have to suffer for their folly.

This is Biden’s third try for the presidency. He was viewed as a joke candidate in 1988 and 2008, when he had more of what is reputed to be a brain. He was viewed as a joke in 2020 until the SC primary.

No harm in starting a BJG MeWe group but … personally, I’m online too much as it is.
So I don’t intend to join MeWe just to be part of a BJG group.

I’d join a BJG group on Gab though.

Speaking of Gab, there is a pretty much daily email that they send out. Lots of times it is about media attacking them for allowing disfavored groups to use the Gab platform. Today’s email was about QAnon.

Gab has a more positive view of Q than I’ve generally heard. Should I soften my views? Should we take them seriously but not literally? Are they unhinged? Or, are they so decentralized that a few outliers make them look more unstable than they really are?

A few snips from the email

“Today Business Insider reached out to me and several others about QAnon. They are working on a major hit piece attacking everyone and anyone connected to the community of millions of great patriots who are seeking the truth outside of legacy media narratives.

Gab has had members of the QAnon community on our platform for several years now, but to be honest I never paid much attention to them because they have always been respectful people who follow Gab’s user guidelines and US law.

My attention was immediately drawn to them once the legacy press started to smear the QAnon community and especially after Silicon Valley platforms censored and deplatformed groups, individuals, and networks of people who even mention Q or any of the various important topics that the community researches and discusses.

I can’t say that I’ve ever seen any “conspiracy theories” from the QAnon community. In fact, I’ve seen a refreshing and objective flow of information being surfaced by a decentralized community of millions of people who are researching and reporting on news that so-called “journalists” refuse to cover.

The oligarchs in power are most certainly wicked and corrupt people by any measure of morality, but the Epstein saga over the past few years has revealed the depth of this wickedness to general public and the QAnon community played a big role in distributing that information to the masses. I’m not sure how this can be considered a “conspiracy theory” when it has been widely reported, even begrudgingly, by the legacy press.”

    The whole dang thing:

Indeed. We should have had a revolt in 1912 when direct election of Senators was ratified by the 17th Amendment. Its been downhill ever since, the States being vassals of the federal government.

The Senate was designed to be the big FU to the federal government if they tried some form of silliness; which of course they have long since done.

Both Apple and Google refuse to allow Gab to distribute a cellphone app.
Gab does not obey Big Tech rules. If you do not break the law, you can post on Gab. That’s not acceptable to Tech. I think it’s fair to classify Gab as “muscular Christians” not “servile Christians”.

You can access Gab via Gab.com on a laptop.
Or you can create a link on your phone or iPad. It shows up as an icon just like all your apps but it’s just a link not an actual app. I’ve done it, and can go find the instructions if anyone is interested.

America’s Voice looks interesting (so do the women in #28). Unfortunately, I have none of the options necessary to receive it. There are a lot of more conservative options to Faux Noose popping up, just like Drudge’s leftward swing opened the door for so many conservative news websites (Citizen Free Press – my favorite, Whatfinger, Borgino Report, The Liberty Daily, etc.).

Yet, Faux News/Faux Business keep digging a deeper hole as @$$holes like Eric Shawn and Neil Cavuto keep insulting viewers’ intelligence. Faux Noose truly has become CNN Lite. I believe they have p!ssed off many conservatives to the point where they will NEVER come back. Tucker Carlson’s dramatic ratings decline illustrates this. If they are not watching Carlson, they certainly aren’t watching the rest of the lineup.

    Way OT:

So I’m reading through this 228 report…while it’s not all disastrous…jhc.. even systems still in active production are having parts availability (and also quality) \mfg sourcing availability\ and enough people with technical know how issues.

I find it hilarious (though somewhat easily explained why) that the one and only air-frame that actually met it’s readiness goals for 8-9 years running is the AF’s UH-1N Huey, though it wasn’t without issues.

Gab, nothing wrong with it, but it is more a twitter like app than anything. As such it lacks paging for framing concepts, just the comments. Fact I don’t know why Gab does not develop a link process that could replace Discus. Parler has utility but its big downer is the need for a sms link to login. Its useful for keeping the trolls out (I assume that how they filter) but it has the downside of blocking people who can’t get the service. Instagram, Telegram, Facebook have all the usual TPTB issues.

    Just my vote.

The first blatant steal by the Democrats (that I am aware of) was the 2004 Washington governor’s race. Republican Dino Rossi had a sizeable lead and was certified as the winner not once, but twice.

The Democrats kept finding ballots in King County (Seattle) until Christine Gregoire took the lead by 129 votes, at which time they stopped counting.

In 2008 the same thing happened in Minnesota. Republican incumbent Norm Coleman had a sizeable lead, but they kept finding ballots in the Twin Cities until Al Franken was declared the winner.

In 2008 the media also discovered how far it could “push the needle” in its all-out attack on Sarah Palin with no blow-back by Faux News or the GOP establishment.

drdog – question for you. Given people (JR, you and others) are looking at alternatives (GAB, MEWE, etc). Concerns about the web going down (dark). Thoughts (because I know you have had to be thinking of it)?

#95 Did you have your “papers” from Der Furher Sh*tler and your proper serf muzzle on your face? Surprised you’re still allowed to get food rations there….

May I suggest Signal for our cells?

We have everyone’s email. Go to your BJG profile page. In the AIM line and add your cell number. We get it populated we can distribute a file of the contacts. The agreement is we all use Signal to scramble our comms.

This would have to be setup before things go dark tho. Maybe invest in a cheap burner phone that can support Signal for those of us in a Faraday Cage sort of mindset.

I’m happy to add my cell. (But be careful, I’d hate to have to change my number if it ever got leaked and spammed by trolls).

How deeply do we trust Signal? I already have the app but only 1 or 2 people in my directory.

But if you wanted to catch people, why not provide a “secure” texting app as a “honey trap” and see who signs up? I’m not saying the CIA and agents provocateur are everywhere … just asking the question.

The fundamental reason is should the ‘Net go down most likely it would take any apps with it. Cells are generally run on the Telcos SONET backbone which for most installs is different physical plant.

An alternative might be get a Google Talk account, link it to your cell, publish the Talk number. But I have not tried using a Talk-Signal combo so I don’t know if it will work or not. And that solution is ‘Net dependent as well.

    Signal also provides secure texting.
